This is an excellent rules overview. There is a continuity throughout the video that absolutely learns you the game. It is more than obvious that you have done tremendous work creating the script of the video and executing it. Well done
hey, thanks so much - you're killing it. I am actually ready to play now. My eyes glazed over and I started drooling when I watched some of the other guys explanations on youtube!
Thank you! My Rules Overviews seem to get brushed aside on You Tube by more established channels and it can be discouraging after I put so much work into making them. Comments like this make it worth it though.
Stellar (sorry) explanation. I have just reaquired Gaia Project and this was a really helpful refresher. I always found the top of the federation tracks a particular bug bear to remember and explain, you did a great job on this.
Thanks, Io you one (that took me some time). Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Reaquired eh? Intriguing! I put off playing this for ages but I noticed that my friends played it about a hundred times in lock down so I knew I had to check it out. Looks like a modern classic to me!
@@UnfussyBoardGames yes reaquired 🙂. I reached the stage a while back where I couldn't afford/justify any more space/money on board games so mostly try to either directly trade or sell to buy. - After a while of doing this you end up with only games you still like but rarely play as ones that anyone else wants to trade for 🤷. But my daughter was home and one of the games she requested was GP and I decided to spend some of my accumulated Xmas gift tokens on a new copy. Looking forward to playing it again.
@@TheRamblingpitchfork Yeah, I have realised that the board games on my shelf need to reflect the people in my life that I want to spend time with. How wonderful that your family enjoy a game like GP!
As I understand with your passion, you still play the game. So it is obvious that you shall record a solo session for us to see the 3 Federations in play :)
Thank you so much! Playthroughs are not something I tend to watch on RUclips but I do make the "Highlights" videos. I definitely want to make some Gaia Project ones. I haven't played this game solo but I'm hearing it's good.

Ha! Only a fellow writer would appreciate that! If you aren't creating then you should get started 😁

Spot on! Thanks for this superb instructional video, made my day (well, evening to be exact :D)
Nice one! And thanks!

I hope to make another video soon and it will contain some surprises...
Amazing explanation! Do you plan to upload a solo Playthrough to the channel? it would be great. Thank you!

Sounds good! I think it would be interesting to see different openings or ways of facing different board situations. Keep it up!
