The plopping sound the turtles make while swimming is holding my heart hostage. It’s so cute. 😭
Yes, my baby painted would swim along "plip plip plip" -- the soundtrack of my quiet mornings and late nights.
Can't wait to set up my turtle heaven, just picked up a baby Eastern Box at a reptile expo. It's only the size of a quarter and is so enthusiastic.
This is an awesome build! I have a blind three toed (adopted from a rescue), I plan on building him something exactly like this for indoors (better suited for his special needs) and a second one for outside so I can let him safely enjoy the outdoors on nice days :)

@@yairakatz8688 sorry for the late response! I basically keep clutter and obstacles to a minimum so he can wander around without bumping into things and getting confused, but I still have things for sensory enrichment like a bristle brush screwed to the side for him to scratch his shell on, a pool of water for him to sit in, and he has an arched log that he can crawl underneath and also scratch himself with!

Making notes for the future. We've got ornate desert box turtles that would do well in something like this. Maybe even our snake-neck turtle for an aquatic set up like your terrapins.

I do! They’re mostly pond canister filters with custom pumps

I would LOVE to see a set up for a smaller species like a musk turtle!

Where do you get your tanks? My sister made an amazing habitat for my 32 year old painted turtle (see channel) which includes a utility sink and a climbing/walking/sunning area which runs along an entire wall. If I’m ever able to set something up outside, your type of tanks would be awesome to have. Excellent video. Thanks!

Why is that basking area under water?
I thought turtles need at least on dry spot in their tanks. Maybe that's why her shell is so dirty.
Why don’t h just carry the turtles over there instead of putting them in a bucket with plants?
