Yes please. Would love your opinion.
I considered it. But lack of Google play protect, Moondrop’s track record with software (and updates) rules it out totally for me.
Instead, I’m happily using my lg v60 (and v20 as a dedicated disconnected dap).

@@michaelcorcoran8768you’d need to ask Moon Drop - perhaps because its focus was the Chinese market. But it’s come up in several reviews. I was very interested in the phone because of the 4.4mm headphone socket. And whilst Moondrop’s sound profile doesn’t fit my listening preferences as much as some other brands (eg Dunu, Elysian, Simgot…) I was interested in an audio phone having used LG for a long time for their audio quality. You can side load but that has other downsides and Moondrop’s track record with software isn’t great.
Also, there’s no water ingress protection and the cameras are mediocre. So I decided to use my unsupported LG V series phones as dedicated daps and invest in a decent dac dongle as well for versatility.
Is highly recommend AndyAudioVaults lengthy review.
@michaelcorcoran8768 because it is a 3rd party app that wants to know your location at all times. Moondrop completely destroying whatever reputation they had with horrible software. But they spend the money that could go to dev in marketing so...

I listened to the whole review. Did i miss where he mentioned the price? I only recall him saying they would be more affordable but for Meze 😂 that could be 400 dollars.

Have the Drop version of the 99 Classics and like them.(though the headband microphonics are a little annoying) Don't really need a dongle since I use a DAP for music playback, but it's nice they provide one. Might give these a try later on when the budget says it's OK.
I have to avoid Drop. So bad for my wallet LOL

What would be your pick for a very good value for money pair of audio out devices, let it be IEMs, over the ear cans or speakers that focus primarily/have emphasis on the mids?
hmm.. I think Moondrop's products will be the right choice for you. Or Truthear
For me right now the Dunu DaVinci is superb as an IEM, fantastic for the price (but not budget).
At a cheaper price for general listening I love the Simgot ea500lm. The TruthEar Hexa is very good but can sound a bit bland without a decent dac. I’ve not found the Moondrop offerings that I’ve tried to be a good match for my listening preferences and across all genres.

Alba means white in Romanian so no other colour option.

I’m still rocking my lg v60 and with out my old v20. Love the sound, form factor and features (v20 uses as a superb standalone DAP helped by the sd card slot and a few hundred gb of lossless uncompressed). Also, brilliant clock and timer !
The second life of any LG is to be an AWESOME portable media player!

Have you tried them? Or do you just mean no IEMs are worth the price at 160? Because I don't even think these are out for the public yet. Just reviewers who got them before embargo.
