It was sad when Tommaso and Cristiano left the band... Then it was sad when Paolo left... But still this band takes the special place in my heart and does not tend to leave it. With all recent singles and this album as a whole thing -- it takes this place more and more firmly. The reason is obvious -- you're doing the best possible with everyone who's onboard, with no losing everyone's charisma and skills. I had the most badass dream, all thanks to this album. I set my alarm to wake me up with Fleshgod Apocalypse through Spotify. When the alarm went off, I found myself in a post-apocalyptic world, battling demonic sea creatures while 'At War with My Soul' blasted in the background. With each creature I defeated, the music synced perfectly with the action, especially from 17:22 to 17:47, when the brutal blast beats and Veronica's vocals hit hard. I think it'll take a few years until I dream something as epic. I've enjoyed every minute of this album. My respect to you guys!

Over the course of many years lots of bands music might drift apart a bit. These guys aren't just tight they're human machines. Holy fucking shit this is incredible.
Je ne pensais pas que vous pourriez faire un album meilleur que King. Apres trois écoutes à la suite je ne sais toujours pas si je préfère Opera ou King. Ce qui est sûr c'est que cet album est excellent à tous points de vue: composition, orchestrations, technique des instruments mais surtout les voix! Quel travail pour que Veronica ait une voix différente à chaque chanson ! Et Francesco n'est pas en reste notamment avec cette partie de Bloodclock où il murmure/chante qui me fait frissonner à chaque fois. Le morceau de piano final est le meilleur de tous ceux que Francesco ait composé et pourtant Veleno était compliqué à surpasser. Je n'ai que deux critiques: la fin de la dernière chanson et la durée de l'album. Je trouve dommage qu'elle se finisse comme ça, avec ce son de radio qu'on coupe ou de vynile qu'on retire. Et puis l'album est bien plus court que vos précédents, j'aurais aimé qu'il soit plus long pour faire durer le plaisir de l'écoute. Mais je chipote. Il reste un excellent album, comme tous vos précédents, et j'ai hâte de pouvoir écouter ces nouvelles chansons en live! Vivement que vous annonciez la tournée européenne et surtout les dates en France! Since King you were my main inspiration to begin into the music production world and started into the making of orchestral mesoamerican music. The mix of an oppressive orchestra and the music pieces composed in electric guitar and transposed to orchestra, the goosebumps i felt. I think the next two explored another kind of sound, still sounding as the esence no doubt about it, but this special mix of the choirs, brasses and drums... I found it again in this masterwork new album. Is the 3rd time i listens to it Thanks for your amazing work.
I have quit listening to them since after Labyrinth... the albuns did'nt caught my attention. But this one has me again! The guitar and piano duets are refreshing, also the vocals. Bloodclock is beautiful and Morphine Waltz is pure insanity

I wasn't really convinced by the singles but man the rest of the album was really great. Morphine waltz is my favourite by far, mainly because of the guitars. Especially the melody in the chorus just hits so hard for me.
I'll never forget when I discovered "King" by you guys in 2021, that album is the perfect blend between the death metal and the symphonic elements and I gotta say, a lot like King every song on this album stands out on it's own. The lyrics are very raw here and Veronica's vocals are amazing. Thanks guys for another awesome album!

It was sad when Tommaso and Cristiano left the band... Then it was sad when Paolo left... But still this band takes the special place in my heart and does not tend to leave it. With all recent singles and this album as a whole thing -- it takes this place more and more firmly. The reason is obvious -- you're doing the best possible with everyone who's onboard, with no losing everyone's charisma and skills.
Thank you all, boys and girls for this great adventure and experience. And congratulate with this great event of album release!

I had the most badass dream, all thanks to this album. I set my alarm to wake me up with Fleshgod Apocalypse through Spotify. When the alarm went off, I found myself in a post-apocalyptic world, battling demonic sea creatures while 'At War with My Soul' blasted in the background. With each creature I defeated, the music synced perfectly with the action, especially from 17:22 to 17:47, when the brutal blast beats and Veronica's vocals hit hard. I think it'll take a few years until I dream something as epic.
I've enjoyed every minute of this album. My respect to you guys!

Je ne pensais pas que vous pourriez faire un album meilleur que King. Apres trois écoutes à la suite je ne sais toujours pas si je préfère Opera ou King. Ce qui est sûr c'est que cet album est excellent à tous points de vue: composition, orchestrations, technique des instruments mais surtout les voix! Quel travail pour que Veronica ait une voix différente à chaque chanson ! Et Francesco n'est pas en reste notamment avec cette partie de Bloodclock où il murmure/chante qui me fait frissonner à chaque fois. Le morceau de piano final est le meilleur de tous ceux que Francesco ait composé et pourtant Veleno était compliqué à surpasser.
Je n'ai que deux critiques: la fin de la dernière chanson et la durée de l'album. Je trouve dommage qu'elle se finisse comme ça, avec ce son de radio qu'on coupe ou de vynile qu'on retire. Et puis l'album est bien plus court que vos précédents, j'aurais aimé qu'il soit plus long pour faire durer le plaisir de l'écoute. Mais je chipote. Il reste un excellent album, comme tous vos précédents, et j'ai hâte de pouvoir écouter ces nouvelles chansons en live! Vivement que vous annonciez la tournée européenne et surtout les dates en France! Merci d'exister, merci à Francesco d'avoir survécu et à tous ceux qui l'ont aidé pour nous donner la chance d'écouter cette merveille.

Since King you were my main inspiration to begin into the music production world and started into the making of orchestral mesoamerican music. The mix of an oppressive orchestra and the music pieces composed in electric guitar and transposed to orchestra, the goosebumps i felt. I think the next two explored another kind of sound, still sounding as the esence no doubt about it, but this special mix of the choirs, brasses and drums... I found it again in this masterwork new album. Is the 3rd time i listens to it

I have quit listening to them since after Labyrinth... the albuns did'nt caught my attention. But this one has me again! The guitar and piano duets are refreshing, also the vocals. Bloodclock is beautiful and Morphine Waltz is pure insanity

I wasn't really convinced by the singles but man the rest of the album was really great. Morphine waltz is my favourite by far, mainly because of the guitars. Especially the melody in the chorus just hits so hard for me.

I'll never forget when I discovered "King" by you guys in 2021, that album is the perfect blend between the death metal and the symphonic elements and I gotta say, a lot like King every song on this album stands out on it's own. The lyrics are very raw here and Veronica's vocals are amazing. Thanks guys for another awesome album!

Album muito bom, mas senti falta do uso de pratos para criar frases na música, uma das características da bateria era o uso de pratos acompanhando orquestra, vocais, baixo e guitarra, a bateria literalmente cantava junto com todos os instrumentos e vocais e senti falta disso, dos contratempos com os pratos e tons, ta parecendo uma bateria normal de death metal... O vocal feminino poderia ter um pouco mais de drive nas músicas pra deixar elas mais marcantes... Mas no geral é um álbum muito bom... Acompanho vocês desde o primeiro álbum, amo o trabalho de vocês
