i hate that line, the way they say it in the song twice and it sounds completely unrelated gives me a headache. id love it if they cut one of those out. the rest of the song is badass
@ yeah they say that line inside a chorus, then they make a whole new chorus repeating that line with a different flow. It sounds completely unrelated to the first.
Will, Pat, Josean, Tim, Joe, Blue.. Thank you so much. In my darkest hours when I’ve stood face to face with my demons, your music is what gives me the strength to carry on. While Absolute Hope, Bulbs and Tragic Beats hold a special place in my heart, objectively, I feel as though this your best work yet. I pray to the metal Gods that you never stop blessing the world with your music 🤘🏾
Every time I've tried to get clean in the last six years they drop an album... I've been a heroin junky since I was 18 im 33 now and we'll get 60 days this week... With any hope this will be my last time relapsing and I get through it... I've lost alot of friends to fentanyl addiction and I've had well over ten overdoses since 2021.. it's caused me the most suffering and misery I've ever had to endure and I can truly say I hate it more than anything in my life... But I can agree whole heartedly ffaa has been one of my go to bands for times of darkness but as well as the great times... And this is one of the best releases they've ever had and thats hard to say because they have been solid since even before Joe got with them...
There's something when you watch the sky, I told myself as the final notes of The Silver Sun closed the album. It's too early of a digestion and I am yet to gauge where this album will land in your discography. It's safe to say, under the current circumstances, that it's easy to slip into sadness. The art cover would sum it up, one more band with an emphasis on black hole sucking down something. Gaerea, Maul and Black Dahlia went down the same road. But The Nothing That Is, paradoxically, offered me more hope than void to chew in. Once again one hell of a tour-de-force you gave us guys.
It's really amazing ! it's violent, melodic, technic ! you respect the "code" of the deathcore style but with a touch of modernity that make pleasure :) Joe you're simply the best vocalist in the genre right now, you're a fucking monster
I love this album. Still would say (it's early though yet) that I prefer the last two but this album absolutely achieves what it sets out to do. The word I would use to describe this album is "big". Very fitting for the album art the sound is so hulking and massive. I almost feel like it would sound at it's best if you had a full surround sound home theater system to listen on instead of my headphones
I'm sure it's been said before, but I just need to commend you guys on not only consistently putting out great albums, but so frequently too. You guys are powerhouses when it comes to writing and recording. Kudos to all the effort you guys put in!
Became a fan after seeing these guys play a tiny venue in Saginaw, Michigan back in 2013.. The music has just gotten better and better since then. Between the great collapse and now it's been nothing but pure fire.
I've seen you guys live every year for the past 5 years. I'm deployed in the middle east this year so it'll be the first year I miss you guys but I'll catch you next year!
@seanflawless6807 thanks man. This album definitely hits different being over here and getting a front row seat to basically everything they're talking about in this album
🔥 🎸 intense, challenging yet satisfying. Brutal yet melodic. Haunting yet beautiful. Another fantastic album that shreds your face with insane riffs! Thanks again my guys. FFAA is next level
I wasn't sure how hyped to be for this one to drop, but there are a handful of certified bangers in here that are as good as any song y'all have ever done. Bravo.
Maybe I'm just too excited, but this might be their best work so far. Perfect mix of brutality, grooviness and melodic lines, absolutely outstanding! Josean Orta is on fire behind those drums! 🔥
Hey guys, Just saw you live in St. Petersburg, Florida. Good job! The venue was dope, and your music was killer! Really enjoyed seeing and meeting you guys! Keep up the good work! Really dig the new album!
Leave make it today I can't wait any longer my CD will prob get here two days after like always but I'll have some new gear and crushing album to listen to

Going to be BRUTALLY HONEST here. Everyone please know I'm about as loyal of a fan as they come. I think there is not a SINGLE skippable song or album from this band. THAT BEING SAID. I think What The Future Holds was indeed a step down from The Sea of Tragic Beasts. That album to me just wasn't as repeatable as TSOTB. But THIS?? This is another repeat HEAVY album. They've done it again, God damn it. This is essentially if you took the last four or five albums from this band and let them procreate and have a love child. This is excellence at it's most high. This is PEAK FFAA.
Felt the same way. On a first listen, I would have ranked this one below What The Future Holds, but fuck this album grows on you. Still prefer TSOTB but this album still fucks

i liked some of their previous stuff and i seriously don‘t want to disrespect the musicians because they did a Great Job last time i saw them live but this album to me is not inspiring. It sounds like they planned to grab a little whitechapel here, a little TAIM there and mix it in the overproduced style of the late orbit culture.
