I went to Keukenhof way back in 1992 before Facebook, RUclips and Instagram so, the only memories I have are in my head and the pictures I took with my 35mm camera, as well as Polaroids. I wouldn't have had the opportunity to go there if I had not been in the U.S Army stationed in Rotterdam at that time. I also had the fortune of having gone to "FLORIADE" , the floral an agricultural exposition held every 10 years in a different city every year. In 1992, it was held in Zoetemeer.

End of May is a little bit too late. It always depends from the weather conditions. But the tulips start to bloom at the end of March and are blooming until the mid of May.

The last floriade was a big money breakdown so the dutch decided to stop with it after 70 years. But Keukenhof will be there every spring
