It’s a great maintenance, all in one, single dose solution. Ideal for tanks with consistent daily consumption. I would still use your preferred salt mix to buffer your values to desired then dose daily based on consumption. Has been working a treat now, 6 months in. Started on the 500ml bottle now using the 1.6kg powder and mixing my own.
its shocking how much it still costs elsewhere. Here in Germany you already get it for around 40eur for 10l solution So i think the price will drop soon everywhere else in the world
This stuff is IMPOSSIBLE to find in Australia. In fact, it’s impossible to find ANY all in one dosing products here. I had to order this stuff from the US and get it sent to a package forwarding service, it’s such a pain in the ass! That said, I hope when I finally get it that it does all its hyped up to do.
@@CandyCoralAquatics I have this auto dos in my nano tank (24 gal). I started out dosing 4ML, but my DKH went up to 9.3 from 7.4 within about 3 days. My coral got stress because of the spike so I dial it down to 2.2 daily. Now I finally find my DKH at 7.8-8.1. This is the range I have because I use trophic marin pro salt mix and this is its range.
Hieu Nguyen I’m wondering if maybe you got the spike in alkalinity because you’re using their salt as well. I know a while back I was using red sea pro salt mix and it did a big boost to my alkalinity while I was dosing as well. I’m actually going to run and alkalinity test on my tank right now to see where it is because I’ve been dosing the all for reef for I want to see about a week or a little longer now
@@CandyCoralAquatics hey was reading this and sounds similar to me . I use Red Sea pro salt and was using Red Sea alk ,cal and mag and it was steady . But I changed over to all for reef as it only a Red reefer 170 tank so wanted it simplier. Any way I’m dosing 6mls and the alk and cal running steady at 9 and cal 400 but here’s where is gets funny my magnesium dropped and is very hard to get above 1120 . I think it’s because of the pro salt because of the high alk in the pro salt .
Good info bro. Yes 2 part might be cheaper for alk and cal but if you add up and dose all the trace elements that AFR gives you, AFR comes out much cheaper. Also, I keep seeing videos and threads of people saying to dose AFR based on calcium readings and not alk readings. Thoughts?
When you doing an update I have been using this since day one of my putting coral in the tank. It’s been great and it’s now available in a powdered form. Works out a lot cheaper. I mix it up in the original liquid bottle so I can then reuse it. 👍🏻
Where did you get the powder form? I had to stop the test because once covid got full swing it was hard to find and order so I’m going to restart, I’d like to use the powder though
@@CandyCoralAquatics I dropped a link for you that should last you a good 4 months at 7m per day. They are in the UK but I am sure if you contact them by email give you a supplier in the USA.
@@CandyCoralAquatics no problem I also have a channel my tank is eight months old. It would be nice to share experiences I am subscribed to your channel👍🏻
I'd like to start using All For Reef, but my tank is pretty small (42 L). I'm worried I'll have a hard time dosing small quantities, what's the minimum amount you can measure using the original bottle? 1mL?
The minimum I can say that you could "accurately dose" on the small bottle is 5ml. 5ml will do about 25-26US gallons so 100L. This should mean that 1ml will do 5gallons or 3.75L hope this helps
@Marcelo Jardim really?? I used Google lol and it says 26gallons, and on the back of the all for reef bottle it says 100 liters is 26 us gallons so now I'm confused lol
Pardon me, 5 gallons is actually ~19 L, I got imperial gallons and US gallons mixed up. You guys use some really silly units lol. But 1 gal is 3,78L and so 5 gallons will be ~19 and not 3,75 as you had originally stated.
I've never ran icp, I just run the usual alkalinity nitrate calcium phosphate, I can say I see better and more consistent growth with all for reef, and trace elements are known to enhance coral
Candy Coral Aquatics oh yh I didn’t realise you was the same guy oh hahaha sorry your tank has changed, also oh I was hoping it was something cheaper rock flower anemone as so expensive
Patrick Monteiro go to saltcritters.com they have really nice ultra rock flowers way cheaper than what you’ll see in store, you can get awesome ultras for as low as $40
I just wanted to chime in and say they now offer a powder version that is good for hundreds of gallons.
I actually have some, seems to be ok. I'll do a more in depth review of it later on

Yes but you have the great barrier reef in your backyard🤣
I've been using trophic marin all for reef for a month now. It's been great!
Hieu Nguyen good to hear! I’m excited to see how well it works, I’m hoping is stabilizes everything as well as it claims

I’ve been using this for 2 weeks in my 170 reefer . Only problem I’m having is my magnesium is low
What you call low, normally it should balance, but if you was low at the beginning you have to ad because it will keep it stable
Thanks for the video
Whatabout putting All 4 reef in the ATo ?
Any more updates on this product?

With this covering most of the elements, could you get away with doing monthly water changes if your skimming.
Hey did you post a 2 month update on the all for reef ?

All for reef powder makes it super cheap and a no brainer
Do you still use this
Have you ever did a icp test and had high level zinc ?

Update?
