In Germany we had a similar problem with the gypsies. The government changed the law so that you have to have worked at least for a year continously and paid in taxes to be entitled to benefits. So most gypsies didnt like that and moved away, actaully a few of them stayed and decided to work

@@moanjelo9453 In Romania, people who are on benefits can also go to their local "soup kitchen" to get a warm meal for the day as well as certain groceries for the next 2-3 days. Of course these entitled people still complained about the food not being good enough and especially about there not being enough meat in it. Eventually, certain towns and cities implemented that you had to work a certain number of days so you could claim your meal and groceries. Up to 90% of benefactors stopped claiming their meals because they didn't want to work. They always claim different illnesses and ailments but the most ridiculous one I heard was "I can't work because I get headaches when I'm at work". You can't make this up.

I couldn't agree more. I'm disabled and people constantly ask me if I have kids. No, I don't. I can't imagine how my body would have been able to birth children, but I know I didn't have the money to raise them. So I didn't have them. Period.

I'm from Romania and I'm so sorry for this. They do the same here, don't work but stay on benefits. Have money to buy alcohol and nicotine, but don't have to buy food and clothes for kids. I repeat, I'M REALLY SORRY FOR THIS! Romania is a really beautiful country, with nice and smart people.

Yes we have people that do this here but the majority of the people that actually do that in the USA are from other countries. Most Americans work at some point in their life to have some sort of tax credit that pay into the system. So when we need benefit if we ever do, we have the right to them because we have contributed.

Watching this video explains why countries need to have tight immigration laws. I’m all for bettering yourself, even if that means moving countries, but living off of someone else’s paycheck when you are capable of working is disgusting.

maybe you need a breakdown of how poor Romania is. Thats why immigrats go to other countries. for a better life, whatever that might look like. get some perspective whilst you sit a comfortable citizen of a decent country and have never faced the same fears as one of these human beings.

Sadly this is not just a thing in the UK. I am from Denmark and we have the same problem. When I was living in Portugal you would actually get a warning on the speakers when gypsies were entering a supermarket.
Im from Portugal and was raise by a widow mom who always worked and took no benefits from the goverment. I still have a memory of been no older than 10 years old and coming of lidl with my mom and 2 gypsie women trying to steal our groceries. I trully hate them and blame them fully for my racism agaisnt them.

I'm hungarian, now I moved to the Netherlands. I've never taken any benefits in both countries, I always earned my money myself. In Hungary, there are a lot of gypsies who also live on child benefits, and spend their money on cigarettes, drugs and on alcoholic drinks. Sometimes they commit crimes or just behave really annoying, bringing down real estate prices in their neighborhood. If they cannot have enough benefits, they pack their suitcases and move away to a different country...

@@bamiblok2477 Precisely, I applied for a 30% tax discount, which I have to spend immediately on rents, as affordable housing companies simply refuse me renting anything under €1000, because of my income, while these properties are reserved for lower income people. They have also "lotteries", or long waiting lists, while I would be comfortable with a smaller (and cheaper) home. That's how the Dutch government tries to compensate for the higher housing expenses of newly settling, highly skilled people. Undereducated, low class people just try to drain the country, and they just protest until they get something for almost free, and even with shorter waiting lists. (see "huurtoeslag"). And that's Apeldoorn, where I live, not the Randstad area, where the situation is even worse. I heard that a candidate at my company (a german engineer) was not able to start his position just because he was not able to get access to a rental apartment. And these are the people who want to add something to the economy instead of draining it.

This is disgusting.That attitude that you can sleep under tree in the shade while everyone else toils under the sun working the fields,is revolting.What horrible people.
I was a teacher for more than 20 years in high school in Catalonia. Every year we had one or two gypsy boys, very studious and bright boys. But in the back of the school we had a huge camp site with hundreds of transient people and many, many boys and girls, but they weren't sent to our schools. Why just one or two each year? Because, they needed someone fluent in Catalan (the language oficial in Catalonia), and competent in reading and writing what papers they needed, making sure they had the benefits due to the community, etc. They had a bunch of expensive cars, mobile phones, houses, thanks to our taxes. And just by sending us two of their boys as "solicitors" and translators.
I am granddaughter to immigrants and taught to earn what I need or want. This is shameful.

This video really made me so angry . I lived 8 years in the UK . I was working 51 hours per week ( and unfortunately in the hospitality industry more you work more you pay taxes ) . I worked xmas and all the other festivities ( luckly for me I didnt have children )I was spending pretty much all the money in rent , Bills and food, Because again wages in the hospitality industry are a joke. I Didnt have a life , my life was at work . All I wanted was to save enough to finally buy myself a house but the bank were asking the 10% of the total cost of the house in advance to release me the mortgage and it was impossible for me to get...so yeah life is unfair ,sometimes it is easy to live on benefit ...

Here in Portugal gypsies live on benefits as well, the are Portuguese born, the basically sell clothes, shoes, handbags in markets. That's the legal stuff, they are also involved in the illegal stuff. Apart from that the still manage to claim benefits, through many threats made to the employees at the social services.

Amazing my step-dad came from a family of 19 siblings and they all work. Never were they on any benefits. I see several adults who should be working. Rediculous.
My dad was #3 of 21 kids and they didn't get a penny from the government. None ended up on welfare.

I watched another heartbreaking documentary on homeless young English women and men living on the streets in London .. those young individuals aren't offered a second chance even though they have the potential to create and offer back society if only given an opportunity ..and yet gypsies get benefits and give birth to 11 children ..and they're not even English ...that is what we call a broken system

Thought this was one of the many reasons BREXIT took place. The benefits system should surely be for those who pay into it. I'm Italian and we have the same issue in our country with the left wing parties making it a free for all. Those benefits should be reserved for the people who pay into the system, not for people coming in to take advantage of the system.

Look up the theory of r versus k-selected genetics. R-selected groups survive primarily by starting to have children as young as possible, having as many offspring as possible, and investing as little as possible into their feeding and raising. It’s a controversial theory, but it helps to explain the phenomenon of poor families on welfare continuing to have kid after kid. To them it’s ultimately a genetic survival strategy, even if they don’t literally think of it in that way.

I'm a single man in america with two children, I find it absolutely despicable how these people treat the government. Especially when they can take advantage of it. I myself have never gotten really Don't even try to ask. But I get no advantage from being a single father being African American none of this. The sense of entitlement in people who have nothing is so confusing to me. I can understand wanting better for yourself but then why continue to bring children you cannot afford into the world? I am from the british isles and when I got so sick I couldn't work (having always worked) I was totally ashamed to (fight for) disability allowance to keep a roof over my head. And that was with the intention of working part time as not to feel a 'scrounger'. This absolutely baffles me.

There should be strings attached for money provided by the state to any able bodied person - 1. get an education 2. get a skill that allows to earn money independent of the state 3. a maximum of 5 years 4. Citizen or refugee of the supporting country - I assume that immigrants are not eligible.

I don't live in UK anymore, I worked there as a truck driver just to see the country. But I would be really mad if people come to my country and don't want to work , only for claim benefit 🙄😒. But my country isn't rich either so we are safe 😅. But every country i have lived in I always worked, never had even one month without working in other countries. I just like travelling 😌

Britain must first look after its own. The reality is, most of these immigrants are leeches or even if they do work, seldomly contribute more than they take out. They are economic migrants and have zero interest in assimilating and becoming British (same goes for most immigrants). I can't watch after watching a docu about disabled girls living on the streets receiving no help whatsoever. This is just plain wrong. An English girl in a wheelchair, homeless and has been beaten up several times by thugs who she cannot defend herself against whilst these people come here only to claim benefits and have a rather decent life. We need to change the law as Germany did to prevent people coming there just to get free money.
I just don’t get it! Can anyone who is deciding to live in the uk, just move there, receive a legal status in the county and start receiving benefits???
