I’ve been learning Russian fro 2 years and its the language I speedrun side order in, I safe to say got a massive laugh out of this watching you struggle so hard with all the Cyrillic letters, would love to see you do this again with the main game
12:08 "All the languages were starting to blend together in my head but at least I tried" "I tried" yeah um you tried with the Russian!! Did you do well? That's a different question entirely but-
BAHAHAHAH oh my gosshhhh I love seeing people being so confused about russian, especially since it's my native language XD I wish I was on the stream, I would gladly help you with all of this !
Alpha, I realy enjoined that stream, and this video more, your reactions tho the names are hilarious, and gets more hilarious with all the editing you made, the one I enjoined most was the Spanish, it’s realy funny hear you talk it, now let’s go to alterna and maby other games like splatoon 2 in other languages, if you want of course, te quedo un video bien chingon Also 13:18 like mike wasowski said “APAREZCO EN LA PORTADA” I don’t know how he sai it in English
2:44 you have to roll the double r in "Arrasados". before you say its unnecessary, it is necessary. for example "pero" means but, however, "perro" means dog.
@@Alphastar716 its kinda like a repeated flap of the tongue. think about saying butter, and how we colloquially pronounce it, budder. try to repeat the flap of the tongue to roll your r's. (I never had trouble rolling my r's when I was young because I was taught Spanish in first grade. the first language I could read and write in was Spanish. I am not Hispanic.)
As French, what I love when English speaker speak French, is that the accent is charming but the pronunciation is making my ears bleed. No offense. Great video lol
For German S=z F=v V=f W=v And when it comes to nouns I’d say it’s 50/50 on weather they are similar to English and same with verbs but when I comes to articles ex: a, am, the. Those are not only based on gender and who you’re talking to but also they aren’t how you would think to pronounce aren’t close to English. Ex Wo? The pronounce wo it would be vo (the o is the same in cold) but the translation is where, Wo=where. ‚Wohin kommst du?‘ literally translates to ‘where from come you’ but most people would say where do you come from. Words like do basically don’t exist in German and don’t get me stared in verbs. In English I swim You swim He, she, it swims We swim Ya’ll swim They/ you proper swim In German Based verb schwimmen Ich schwimme Du schwimmst Sie,er, es, schwimmt Wir schwimmen Ihr schwimmt Sie/sie schwimmen Yes every verbs ending changes depending on who you’re saying and talking to. There is a pattern called est ten ten E, st, t, en , t, en But this pattern only applies to regular verbs sometime the verbs have no pattern and no ‘rules’. A lot of words in German especially the longer words are literally just multiple words put together. Homework=Hausaufgaben The pronunciation is House, ow ff , gobin
Portuguese would’ve been an interesting one if it were in the game. It’s one most yet least similar languages to English. Like they use the same alphabet and a native English speaker would probably be able to figure out a couple of similar and even some that are written exactly the same(like chocolate and banana), but if that same hypothetical English speaker tried to LEARN Portuguese, they’d be traumatized the moment they learned every single word has a gender.
@@Alphastar716 it’s a language on the switch, but not a language in splatoon, which is why I wanted to learn English in the first place because Nintendo wasn’t didn’t start localizing games to Portuguese until the release of Mario kart 8 DX(Which still was only in Portugal Portuguese which has some very significant differences from Brazilian Portuguese, which is not the only variation, but it’s probably spoken the most in comparison to others). But recently, a lot of switch titles have been localized to Portuguese. Mario Wonder, in particular, was a HUGE W(even the talking flowers are VOICED in both BR and PR Portuguese!). Anyway, sorry about the lecture here, i am WAY too detailing.
Make the next be salmon run or story mode believer one would be funny which one you choose next well identify of which is gonna be the last one of this game
I mean hey the French are already protesting something related to the Olympics might as well tack this video on as another reason to protest or something.
The last language is absolutely BONKERS. What crazy localizations have you seen in Side Order? Let me know right here in the comments! 😉
Thanks for the video idea
Your friendly neighborhood speaker of this language wishes you luck:

2:49 i love the video
being able to read russian while that entire segment is edited to seem like its some ancient moonrunes is so funny
Agreed, its so funny seeing him so confused over russian.
16:58 we wanted doll from murder drones, a robot character who only speaks russian. i understand why you thought of those.
Oh really? That completely passed over my head lol.

Side order gets REAL quicly

Speak Russian eppy 😂 just kidding,we love you eppy
Be Russian 😊
As someone who learn french in school, I can confidently say it was hard to not laugh histerically
(You still did great though...)
7:50
“In the beninging” ahh moment 💀
12:56 the reason for that is probably because Acht means the number 8 in German
I CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO BUTCHER THE ENTIRETY EVERY LANGUAGE
12:08 "All the languages were starting to blend together in my head but at least I tried"
"I tried" yeah um you tried with the Russian!! Did you do well? That's a different question entirely but-
But I tried!!!!
@@Alphastar716 here is advice for you. Never even come close to the Russian language again

If this video gets enough support as well, I may finish everything up in Splatoon 3 by doing Alterna in other languages. x)
You can thank me for helping you with Spanish and Russian! You’d have perished without me steering you behind the screen!😊
You and Eisen were the MVPs for Russian!
That stream was a nightmare to try and read everything on screen. I would not survive trying to learn Russian. 😭

Counterargument: I don't know how to roll my R's LOL

I remember when the OFFICIAL duolingo channel appeared and said you needed to do your Spanish lessons lol
I hate it when people claim german to be horrible as a language.
It's not THAT difficult...
Spanish however, they got exceptions for exceptions...
For German
S=z

Btw, all the Agents are called „Nr. #“ in German, e.g. „Agent 3“ is „Nr. 3“
Why block tho, as a Russian I had fun watching this
22:15 too late
Huh
Why did you do Mexican Spanish?

In a past stream I actually did play Big Run in other languages. I haven't touched the single player yet though. 👀
Hopefully after a lot of these different language videos you can speak in every language properly Alpha 😭
I won't, but at least I'm getting better 😀
Russian woooooo
Don't know why they changed Acht cuz that's already German.
Exactly, because „acht“ is german for „eight“. If you have a character called „acht“ and a character called „nummer acht“, things can get confusing.
As as an ex-French student.....

I'll be ready for them 🔫🦅
