It kinda makes me laugh that you become a baby Stay sight unseen & probably would not be able to recognize them on the street. But if they sang to you, you would lol..😁🖖🏽 Mission: I would love you to pull up a photo [w/o the names] and try to guess who is who.. esp. the deep voice.. Felix and best leader Bang Chan [our Aussie bruhs].. 🖖🏽
@@tonystocco also in regards to length of reactions I have yet to see stay ever complain about long reactions. I have watched a 3 hour reaction to a guide to stray kids lol 😆
We always joke that it's dangerous to listen to Stray Kids in the car because there is always some kind of siren sound, and then you start panicking that the police is after you 😂😂😂
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA i love stray kids song when i work out super intense especially DOMINO DOMINO DOMINO DOMINO , now i stream megaverse non stop when i run on treadmill
omg i rmb my dad was driving me home and i had my earbuds in listening to Maze of Memories, siren part came in and genuinely thought there was an ambulance right behind us and kept turning around to see nothing. dad thought i went crazy and was hearing stuff😭
Did I sit here and watch this for an hour and a half? Yes. Did I pause so I could hear his opinions when I had to do other stuff and could properly focus? Yes. Invested.
Stays absolutely ADORE reactors who are honest about whether they like or dislike a song, so please always feel free to give your honest thoughts! We prefer that to brown-nosing any day. Thank you so much for reacting to SKZ! 💖
@@energysavingm0d Right? In the last video I saw his face when Felix started singing and I was like “Ah, yes. The Felix effect strikes again.” It got me too. Now I’m in so deep and I love all my boys.
I'VE NEVER HEARD THE BIRD SCREECH THING IN DOMINO! Like wtf I've listened to that song so many times! This is why I love reactions from different perspectives! I find new stuff to love!
Okay, around 53 minutes you were wondering if it's two people singing or two tracks, I'm pretty sure the higher pitch is Bang Chan, the lower one for sure is Felix :) So, two people :D
I love hearing your perspective on all this! I kept squealing (in tiny) and happy stimming because I was so excited about you appreciating all the stuff I love and finding new stuff! Also I can't believe I fell asleep in the middle of Red Lights (I love that track so much), but I started watching after my night shift XD Had to come back to finish the video immediately after waking up lmao
"It's about the music." And THAT is why I subscribed to you. While I am a STAY, I LOVE reactors who actually listen to music for the music! I appreciate your opinions.
I audibly laughed when you said "what are they gonna do next? ANOTHER genre?!" and then it's wolfgang ... the answer is YES 😂 Idk if anyone has mentioned this to you yet, but Stray Kids is a genre. It's called Mala Taste. They have a song called God's Menu where they offer listeners to pick something off their menu - as in, name something you like and you'll find it with SKZ!
i feel so safe when someone who is open minded to music listens to stray kids, loved every second of this reaction and how much every detail that would set other people off like ' pots and pans ' was loved by you, amazing!!
So, Red Lights was composed, sung, and produced by only 2 members. And when the others heard it for the first time, it was HILARIOUS. "Why can't you stop?" "Oh? Why is it so sexy?" "Oh the guitar,.oh..." "oh, omg oh!" seriously. Hilarious. And they were listening with headphones, on camera. So we couldn't hear. Because the album wasn't released yet. (They did a song camp to write Red Lights, Surfin, and Gone Away). So we just watched them all freak out and had no idea why. 😂
It's such a rare treat to find someone who will take the time to focus on the music instead of the fact that there is a language barrier. You don't have to know exactly what they're saying to feel the VIBES bc music is universal 🖤✨️
I like how you called one of the sounds they used in Star Lost ethereal, the song was made for a STAY , Hiwa, they met through Make A Wish and who is now ‘a stray among stars’, she passed days before she could see them in concert so they made a song for her in remembrance, they’ve also performed it often at concerts so while she may not be there physically, her memory plays on with the band
Just to clarify: They performed Star Lost in honor of her at a June 2022 Maniac performance because her Make a Wish wish was to attend a concert but she sadly passed away a few days before it occurred. Happily she was able to meet SKZ beforehand!
I think HAN is going to be your bias. You loved his voice on the ATE album, you loved Twilight, which he wrote, and now you like Secret Secret, which he also wrote. He’s the Ace of Stray Kids cuz he can literally do everything. Huge talent wrapped in a tiny body! (His voice is also the one on Mixtape:Oh that you said felt like it was in your head at the beginning)
To continue your journey through stray kids, here are (in my opinion) the albums you should check out next, they are their most poupular ones ranging from being released from 2020 to 2023, so very new: 5-STAR- (12 songs). they won a vma for this one last year, very complete album I would say, brought a lot of attention to them from the west in particular, there is noise, of the eletronic kind mostly. - 2023 ROCK-STAR - (8 songs), right after 5 star, insane range from soft to hard, amazing vocals, and the last song is the rock version of the title track (with real instruments!!), I'm sure you'll like it. -2023 IN LIFE / GO LIVE - different albums, but in life is the repackaged version of go live , with 8 extra songs. I recommend you do GO LIVE first(14 songs) , then finish off with the extra tracks (the first 8) of the repackaged IN LIFE. - 2020 ODDINARY - (7 songs) also shows their range very well, similar to this one, from this video (noeasy), sone of their most popular b-sides are here. -2022 Thank you for the reaction, you are slowly becoming my favorite person reacting to stray kids right now, your open mind, but without lying if you liked it or not, is really fresh. Thank you!!!
i personally love that you’re only reacting to the music itself and not the lyrics or the videos. you’re not letting anything else color your perception, and i appreciate that.
I think most international Stays like myself are over 30 yo and come from a background of 80-90-00's rock, alternative, metal, grunge music. I can't exactly pinpoint what about Stray Kids music just tickles my brain in the right way. Could be the beat switches, the different and unexpected sounds that shouldn't work together but SKZ make it work perfectly.. maybe it's the insanely positive energy that they infuse you with everytime you hear their songs. Could be all of them together, but i think their personality just makes their music the more enjoyable for me. I absolutely love these boys that are just walking, talking green flags. They work so so much, are humble and respectful, genuinely enjoy performing in front of their fans and they give back as much love as they receive. I really recommend you check out some of their MV's and the 2 docuseries that just dropped, about the 3 festivals they headlined this summer - the process behind is fascinating. You can also find episodes about album recording sessions that are also very insightful and soooo fun to watch, the boys are hilarious.
100% i love kpop but skz just hits different and brings me back to-the 80s-90s from my late teens and 20s. i love grunge but use to go to raves too and i am here for everything stray kids do ❤❤❤
Same! I'm also in my 30's and love these adorable boys! ❤😊 I'm just sad, that I will probably never see them in concert, because the young Stays are too much for me 😅 And I live in Germany, so there's also that 😢
@@smeyer208 well, it's good that you live in DE, they will probably have a concert there and I plan to come too. For me it's even sadder, I'm from Ro 😅 0 chances they will ever set foot in my homeland. What do you mean can't handle Stays? For concerts they have seats too, so there's no need to stand and get crowded in front of the barricade. I have a bad back and knee, so seats are preferred, but i think i will still try for barricade 😅
@@monikm06 The live clips I've seen recently, I mostly heard the fans, but not SKZ. It would be a big bummer to spend soo much money for a ticket and then not hearing THEM sing live. Also, for my taste, there seem to be quite a few fans, that go absolutly CRAZY...and I just feel to old for this kind of delulu fandom, I'm sorry 😅
@@smeyer208 don't get tricked by online clips. The music is very loud in the venue, the phones can't pick it up properly as the sound closest to microphone is first to be recorded, that's why you hear the crowd lowder. You can barely hear the person next to you, trust me. I"ve been to concerts and you're deaf for a few hours after from how loud the music is.
I am a die hard Rammstein fan, and I absolutely adore Stray Kids. I tried listening to other groups and their sound wasn't hard/unique enough for me. When I found Stray Kids, I finally felt like I was home. That's the only way I know how to describe it. I loved your reaction, and I'll tell you why... When I listen to music, I have trouble picking out those sounds that are hidden as I like to call them. When you and other reactors listen to the songs and you're able to pick out those sounds it helps me hear the song again from a whole new perspective. It's like hearing the song again for the first time. I really loved your reaction. Thunderous was the song that introduced me to Stray Kids, and Red Lights is one of my all time favorites too.
@@tonystocco I think you would be maybe interested in watching them record the vocals? if yes i would recommend the video Stray Kids having fun while making music, i would really like watching your reaction to that :3
50:41 the guitar.... any or all of the options you listen could be accurate. 😂 several of them play several instruments. 53:02 two voices at once... Chan & Felix. As for Silent Cry, that song is sneaky and kinda fucks you up when you know what its about. We all like to bop to it, but there's a dark feel to it because it was the boys writing a song that "responded" to Secret Secret. SS is about Han's struggles with depression & self doubt. When he brought the song to the others, they wrote SC, saying dont suffer alone, we see you, let us bear the burden with you. "Give me your Silent Cry". ❤️😭
The way I was Brainstorming and trying to remember all the songs that are on this album and then I was like:"Oh fuck... Red lights is on this... RED LIGHTS AND... AND WOLFGANG!" Pots and pans album I recommed is IN LIFE(re-packaged full album version of mini album GO LIVE) and if you want pots and pans with wierd ass electronic sounds then mini album Oddinary + for individual song I think you would enjoy their debut song 'District 9'
only 17 minutes in and I hope Bang Chan (leader and one of the producers of stray kids) finds this and watches this video it would make him immensely happy just like it's making us happy. Thank you for this video I hope stray kids' music continues to excite and bewilder you as you go through the albums, we'll all be here watching your journey!!! (also sidenote: stray kids using weird ass audio samples and making it work is so common you'll find them all across their songs, sometimes bang chan actively makes new samples by tweaking his own voice, I don't know how he does it but there are videos of him doing just that lol)
@@C-Locke exactly!!! He’d be so giddy abt this I prayyyy he sees this I want him to be happy abt it so badly 😭 (if Chan’s room still happened and he saw something like this he’d come yap abt it with us for sure🥲)
Not every Skz song is going to be a win for every fan because as you said they are experimental, and genre jumping BUT with a discography as big and diverse as theirs you better believe that there will be something for every music lover. There’s no need to sugar coat your feelings about their music, love hearing your perspective! Stay are all for honesty and would prefer genuine interest, critique, and reactions over false niceties. Also great to hear your experience through the lens of a fan from such a specific genre outside of “K-pop” (though yes i don’t think K-pop is an accurate descriptor for most Korean music at this point) transferable musical knowledge is so fun on a first watch- talk about tool! Continue to bring your musical knowledge and interests with you, it’s such a fun listening lens!
Actually really love that you're jumping straight into doing full album reactions with JUST the music rather than going through all their music videos! Not many reactors do that, or at least not as their introduction to the group, so it's unique. Love how much you focus on the track itself and the arrangement because I think that's one of the areas they really shine. I'm assuming everyone and their mother has already mentioned that they are self produced lol. They have 8 members in total, and they also have three different "sub-units" in the group that focus on certain things. One is a vocal unit, one is a dance unit, and one is the producer unit! The producer unit is known as "3RACHA" and it's the three guys who have been together the longest. All the members dabble more and more in producing as they progress in their careers, but those three do the lion's share of the writing, composing, and recording studio directing for the group, and one in particular (Chris, the leader) does most of their track arrangements. All members take part in both singing and rapping, but some members are still mostly known for one or the other. Really glad you've had a positive reception to your honest videos! Unfortunately any group of fans will inevitably have the "crazies" that can't handle differing opinions and feel the need to be hateful about it. I'm sure you'll have your handful of commenters that display that eventually, but they don't speak for the vast majority of us! I hope it doesn't dissuade you from being candid about your opinions. I'm a MASSIVE Stray Kids fan (or a Stay as we're called, lol) for loads of reasons ranging from their music, to their message, to their work ethic, to their senses of humor, and more. But I still respect opinions from those that don't connect with the music and the message in the same ways that I do. Plus, I have my own preferences too! Not every single SKZ song is a home run for me, that would be impossible. But I still appreciate their artistry and ability to create music for many different tastes, even if its not MINE every single time. Like you, I have a soft spot for pots and pans lol. That said, my absolute favorite album of theirs is called 5-STAR if you're interested in checking it out! To touch on a couple things you talked about, auto-tune definitely isn't for everyone! I find that a lot of SKZ's more autotune heavy stuff is more so done for stylistic purposes because it lends a different sound to the song. But I get you. Not everyones style. Fortunately they do have loads of gorgeous stuff that proves how well they sing without it as well. Hence why I take it as more of a stylistic choice. Their vocals continue to improve as the years go on as well. Which makes sense since half the members were literally 16-17 when they debuted. They've all grown a lot vocally. Also I wanted to mention that Red Lights, Surfin', and Gone Away were all sub-unit songs that they made in a series they did on youtube called Howling in Harmony where they documented the writing and composing process. Part of the point was for all three to be vastly different concepts, playing to each unit's strengths lol. Red Light's is just Chris/Hyunjin, Surfin' is Felix/Lee Know/Changbin, and Gone Away is Han/Seungmin/I.N! Also Wolfgang was a song they made for a finale performance on a performance competition show called Kingdom that they were on (and won) back in 2021! The recorded version for the performance was only 7 members because one member was on hiatus at the time, so they re-recorded an 8 member version to release on the album once the member returned 😊 Definitely subbing to see you fall deeper down the rabbit hole 😂 Also sorry for this monster of a comment I just literally don't know how to shut up about Stray Kids once I start talking about them ahahaha. I'm actually using a great deal of self control to not accidentally write a full length book in this comment section just info dumping their whole career to you 🤣
Listen.. the excess need to write a book-length Ted Talk comments about these guys is a true Stayville pandemic disease - No worries.. the only cure is to wear headphones 24/7 w/a SKZ song playing as loud as your neighbors can stand it & "dance like nobody's watching". I will send an ambulance & will reserve a 5 Star room for you at the Stayville hospital. So remember to enter via the backdoor entrance, if you want to come in..🖖🏽
I read a comment that said, "Stray Kids is KPop for Emo fans" which made me chuckle at first. But, as a metal and industrial fan, it makes too much sense. Welcome to the fold.
The three songs (Red Lights, Surfin' and Gone Away) are unit songs, each produced by a different member of the producing unit 3RACHA Through them, you can kinda guess the vibe each producer of them goes for in a song, so HAN's songs will be more chill and softer (BTW, Secret Secret is also produced by him), while Chan goes for complexity and dark vibes, and Changbin is fond of heavy but kinda light-hearted production They all shine individually, and they each try many genres and elements, but together they are just the best! Thank you for the reaction and the comments, I loved it a lot
Idk if Chan goes for complexity and dark. Connected, Eternity, Youtiful, FNF, Runners, Baby... most of his solos and units led by him are rather simple and retro
@@von1glik ohh I didn't think of that, it must be Hyunjin's effect then, because Red lights & DLMLU are both like that (I only thought of those 2 at first tbh)
@@hindraissouli8125yeah i think it's more Hyunjin,in his producing , you can see he's influenced by 3racha , and especially Chan , since he's the one teaching him the most. But the more he produces , the more we can see the dark and complex part is definitely actually his style , way more so than Chan's ( like Taste is another perfect example , even Cover me is ,in a way)
You are a reflection of me when I found Stray Kids! I am a hard rock girl from the 70’s but these boys won my heart when I heard them. Their hard work and dedication to what they love is very inspiring and their different voices and the mix of genres make their songs great!
ssick has a cool double meaning the first is the obvious english one "thats so sick" as in really cool then the korean meaning is ssick is the onomatopoeia they use in comics for a smirk
As a 41 year old with an eclectic music taste, but mostly 80s- early 2000s rock, rock alternative, I avoided Kpop like the plague until I came across a random tiktok with a snippet of Stray Kids music, so I decided to check them out. I was blown away because they sounded DIFFERENT. And when i discovered they produced and wrote everything and have 100% control of their music and what they put out, I was hooked. Plus, as much as their music is fantastic, when you add the choreography and all the other elements, it is mind blowing how talented these boys are. And incredibly humble, they are currently on the cover of Rolling Stones UK with a 28 page spread. I cannot wait to hear you react to another album, I'm definitely here for it! Your insight into their music makes me appreciate them so much more! 5 star would probably be the next one I would recommend because they have said they put a 5 star effort into that album, but Oddinary is amazing also, even though it's a mini album. Maybe later on I would love to see you react to some of their performances because you will really be blown away with the talent!
I hope you're aware of what's happening to you right now. Don't panic but you'll never be able to get out of this hole again. It'll only get deeper and deeper and escape is simply not possible anymore. Welcome.
I'm so glad you came back as a "Proud Baby Stay"! I also love that you reacted to NOEASY because it's easily one of my favorite albums. There's so much to love about it with all the different noises and tracks used. Don't mind me, but I'll add a few things for you lol so sorry if it's a lot! 3RACHA is the producing team of Stray Kids, comprised of 3 members, Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. They write, compose, and produce just about every song and sound you hear in their discography. They've been writing and producing since 2017 together. They've come such a long way in music production and even won a Best Creator award! The 3 of them are such a powerhouse in KPOP and we adore their teamwork. Most tracks are composed by the leader Bang Chan on his laptop! He's constantly writing and composing music, so a lot of it comes just from the software he uses. Sometimes there's sessions, but most often his software. Some members know how to play the piano and guitar which is fun to hear. The members do layer vocals and harmonize with each other all the time! They upload some of their studio sessions so you can see how they record and want things to sound. Domino is a huge fan favorite and is even a meme at the moment so I'm happy you liked it haha! Your face at Silent Cry was my exact reaction because the first listen is just so much confusion with where it's going. The best part about it is that the lyrics are sad as hell, but it's such a bop and the choreo doesn't fit the lyrics at all. It's hilarious. Red Lights. Oh boy. It's another fan favorite due to the music video and the duo who sings it. You're getting into the "units" territory! Red Lights is written and sung by two members Bang Chan (3RACHA and leader) and Hyunjin (insane dancer and visuals). It's so different from the other songs they've done. Super badass. Surfin' was written and sung by Changbin (part of 3RACHA and rapper) , Felix (deep voice sweetheart) , and Lee Know (menace and killer dancer). They wanted a fun summery song to get you pumped. Gone Away was written and sung by Han (3RACHA and allrounder), Seungmin (lead vocals), and I.N (lead vocals). Just wanted to be sad and talk about unrequited love lol. Their vocals always sound so beautiful together. They all work hard on each of their skills and it's so impressive. Each unit has a member of 3RACHA that helped with the production and writing process to help the other members who weren't as familiar with the process. Wolfgang was actually performed on a huge reality competition show that Stray Kids won! It was a huge performance and super cool haha! I could go on forever but I'll stop now! Once again, thank you so much for giving Stray Kids a chance and for giving your honest reactions and opinions. You've been so respectful even if a song isn't your cup of tea and we really appreciate that. I'm excited to see you continue on your Stay journey
@@tonystoccoI just wanted to add fun fact the 2 lead vocals (Seungmin and I.N) are the 2 youngest members in the group. When you mentioned the song should be in movie I just wanted to raise my hand to say these 2 sing for K dramas.
I am not proud saying that I am a “KPOP Hater” before but this immediately changed when I discovered SKZ. They are the only group I am listening in KPOP. They are just different and I respect them for producing their own music.
Does anyone else get teary eyed when someone reacts so strongly to a track you love? The Red Lights reaction had me emotional! Gosh, his reactions are so good! I never noticed half the things he does. It's like hearing it all for the first time again! ❤❤❤
LMAOOO the way you said "Phenomenal, love it" reminded me so much of that meme of the dad tasting the food his daughter made and he's like "Gimme 14 of 'em right now, I don't care what's in it" lmaooooo
The fact that this is my favourite album and i'm discovering an amount of sounds and 'easter eggs' inside every track is incredible. Thank u for this service, you got a new subscriber
Oh GOD! That will be an experience 😅 I’m so excited to watch his journey through the songs, then the MVs, and maybe the fun stuff too if that’s something he’d enjoy.
i've been a stray kids fan since 2020 and have watched tons of skz reactions throughout those years, yet this is the first time i sit to watch a 1 and a half hour long reaction video that is totally focused only on the musical aspect of stray kids. not over exaggerated reactions, not a single mv to be seen on the screen (I don't even know if you have seen their faces yet, lol) - but for me, it's what turns this reaction so amazing and unique, you're diving into the stray kids universe focusing solely on their work, not for their visuals. thank you for this dedicated analysis on their songs... there aren't many creators out there that pay attention to all the producing parts, since the majority of them react to mvs, and the visual experience kinda overlaps the audio one, since their mvs are highly produced (really, it's a hole other thing to applause them on), so in your video i discovered things I've never heard or paid attention before, and that's insane! truly one of the benefits of seeing new perspectives through reactions. thank you for this! I'll certainly keep following your content here. kudos from brazil :) 👋🇧🇷
the song Cheese is basically saying "I love all this hate on me, the more you talk the more hype I get", there's a part of the song where it's like Lee Know (member of the group) speaking his fingers and if you do in the right order, it's basically him giving the middle finger to the haters, and when Felix (another member of the group) says the types of cheese, he's basically saying that in their group there are different styles, they're basically saying, keep giving hate, it's fun and yet we will continue making ur songs and the sound "Cheese" is basically them posing for photos, basically saying "let's not hide or hide our style"
I also heard that "blue cheese, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese" is counting out the cheeses that have low lactose levels, indicating that even lactose intolerant people can enjoy them nonetheless
I believe the reason why they made cheese is because they were getting a bunch of hate and were like we could make a song about literally anything and people will love it. So they made a song about cheese.
Honestly I like it more when a reactor has preferences for the songs rather than just saying every song their favourite, I think it shows an authentic review rather than pandering to an audience
I love it when people bring a new perspective to Stray Kids music to me. There are things we don't always catch, and layers to the production you don't realize are involved if you aren't familiar. Do you go over the lyrics at any point after listening? Secret, Secret and Silent Cry are a dilemma and an answer. One is written by Han after a hiatus to care for his mental health, and the other, by Changbin as an answer, saying don't bear this burden alone, we're here to carry it with you, essentially. They don't shy away from addressing mental health issues and complicated emotions. One of the things I love most about them is their passion, positivity, and supportive love for their fans. It's rekindled my love of listening to music, which I desperately needed just then. I'm keenly interested in your reactions to their earlier albums as well. Their evolution is fascinating. God's Menu was a defining moment, but things on both sides of the timeline have awesome things to offer.
I haven't looked at any lyrics or backstories to the individual songs yet. I will in the future, but having so much fun with the audio it'll be a while. 😀
Yeah, you've got a lot to listen to. They're a good example of quantity /and/ quality, which is rare, I think. There are definitely some particular songs I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on, so this trip down the rabbit hole is going to be fun.
The song Thunderous is the title song of the album, they basically say "yes we are loud, yes we are loud and we are proud of it, we don't hide because the loud ones are the ones who attract the most attention", Stray Kids has different styles of songs throughout of their discography but they are mainly noisy and "messy" and they are known for that and like that, yes they have calm and slow songs but they also have upbeat and loud songs and they are very proud of that
Everytime I listen to a professional deconstruct Stray Kids music I get to appreciate their music all over again. Your take, focusing on purely the music, brings so much more depth to my love of their talent. 👌🎶💖
Last night the mystery of RUclips presented me with your review of Ate. I really enjoyed your approach of listening to the music first, really hearing it. So it was a joy to see you were reviewing Noeasy tonight.
I am a System of a Down fan and recently discovered Stray Kids. I don’t always feel like listening to the slower songs, choosing ones like Hall of Fame, Item, Domino, Jjam, etc. but really appreciate all of their stuff. The guys are so interesting and gifted too, rapping, producing, singing, dancing, playing musical instruments… they are phenomenal.
Well, I’ve literally spent my entire evening watching your awesome reaction and reading the comments. I’m not mad about it. 😂 As many others said, your reactions are totally refreshing! I need to get a decent set of headphones because my earbuds are NOT picking up all the awesome things you mentioned. When I first discovered them, I listened to all the “loud” songs because that’s my main vibe. Then I started listening to the “fun” songs, then the slower/ballad songs. No matter what route you take, it will be a fun ride! SKZ’s leader, Bang Chan, would be so thrilled that you have taken special note of all his creative, hard work They all would, actually. I hope they can somehow get a chance to see your reaction of this album someday. I HIGHLY recommend that you watch the intro videos for each of their albums. I consumed most of their music then discovered these terrific intros where they talk about each track. It added such a great layer to the music for me. Here is the one for No Easy. No need to do a reaction (unless you want to) but definitely take a look when you can. ruclips.net/video/9e6cDBI6YpM/видео.htmlsi=bMdWDpdtqS5FuCGW Looking forward to your next one!
I love their intros, teasers, trailers, behind the screens, dance practices & lives, stages, production and performance video. They put out so much content just to prove that they are the ones creating this sound.. Stay know this but they keep trying to prove it.. They have already. 🖖🏽
The intro videos are so fun and satisfying. We get behind the scenes clips of them recording, writing, filming, & interviews with the boys. SO much cool info and insights. 🤩
Believe me the pipeline from metal to Stray Kids is mind blowing. As a huge Slipknot, MIW etc Stray Kids grabbed me quick because like your first reaction, they are aggressive. My first intro to them was Gods Menu. That being said they can sing the more vocal heavy songs. We do love honest reactions here. Glad you've found a great community in Stay. Yes, a fu to haters. They don't speak out in the media, they keep it very professional. They do it through the music and I love it.
I’m really enjoying your Stray Kids album reviews! I’m sure 99% of the viewers appreciate your pausing/rewinding rather than find it annoying. We appreciate your honesty too! Since you’re a new STAY, there are two quintessential Stray Kids songs I wanted to recommend: The first is ‘The Tortoise and the Hare’ from their ‘IN生 (IN LIFE)’ album. It is notorious among non-STAY K-pop fans because a 30 second clip from any part of that song will make you go ‘?????.’ People always use the song to insult or mock Stray Kids, but honestly the song is a banger and those people just don’t know how to enjoy things/let others enjoy things. The second is ‘Maze of Memories’ from the ‘SKZ2021’ album which is probably in my top 5 favorite Stray Kids songs. I don’t want to spoil it, but I will say at no point of the song will you be able to predict what will happen next. I’m going to leave a separate comment for my thoughts on a couple of songs from the ‘NOEASY’ album because I have a lot of thoughts haha.
I LOVE the Tortoise and the Hare! That is definitely one of theirs that I crank up the volume and just get immersed in all the different sounds they mold together
I totally understand your reasoning to doing audio only. 😊 I will say, different from most western music, a huge portion of the K-pop artistry is the visuals. I would love to see you check out some of the MVs, live stages or dance practices of the songs you did like (I.e Domino dance practice is one of my FAVs)!!! It’s a way to fully appreciate and give respect to their complete craft, the music itself is just 1/3 of it. Subscribed for more! Love how well spoken and thoughtful you have been ❤❤
@@tonystoccoI think if you even just watched the dance practices which are very low budget but you get to see the amazing choreography and work they put into their performances and when they hit those bass drops. It’s so cool to watch.
Can I just say, I really appreciate you enjoying the pure music of "Red Lights" because it has a pretty "sexy" music video, and usually people focus on that without appreciating the music itself, so thank you!!! Also, the genuine enjoyment of the rest of the tracks is so validating and enjoyable, I will absolutely be watching more of your videos xxx
I wanted to take a second to congratulate you and your channel blowing up. Every time I watch another video of yours I see to subscriber count continuing to go up and up. Good job! 👏👏👏
I’m really enjoying your reaction videos to Stray Kids, love your attention to detail. I’m almost 43 & just discovered them in 2022. My sister loves them too, we even saw them in concert last year. Best experience ever. They really made me fall in love with music again. I like how open-minded you are & if you don’t like a song you’re still very respectful about it. ❤
your face when the chorus came in on silent cry 🤣 several of the members CAN play instruments, but i’m pretty sure it’s all (or majority) done digitally for the albums 🤔 don’t quote me tho. star lost was one of their concert closers for last year’s world tour and it was AMAZING; such a perfect song to jump around to, it’s so bittersweet and fun. a lot of people share your opinion on surfin’, especially since it’s on an album like noeasy and surrounded by some of their noisier songs. noeasy as an album isn’t their most cohesive project, but i think it’s one of the ones that best shows their versatility and that was pretty much the point. i personally love surfin’ coz it’s so fun and lighthearted, but it’s never really a surprise when people who love the first half of the album aren’t as big of a fan. WOLFGANG APPRECIATION LET’S GOOOOOOOO i would love to hear your opinion on superboard and give me your tmi, both off the maxident album (my personal favourite). not necessarily pots and pans, but loud and different in their own ways.
as someone who loooooves picking apart the instrumentals it’s really nice to see a reactor pointing out just how complex skz’s production is. it’s one of my favorite things about their music in comparison to a lot of other groups. i’ve been a fan of theirs for 5 years now and im still finding new elements every time i listen to their stuff it’s incredible! thanks for putting out such honest reactions!!
I was so excited to see you reacting to stray kids again, tyty❤!!! When i first encountered your ATE reaction, i was apprehensive. I think you'll find that most STAYs love honest reactions, but there are also a lot of reactors who think prejudice, disdain, and arrogance are the same thing as honesty. You have proven to be extremely open-minded and respectful of things outside of your own taste/ knowledge, so never be afraid to admit that something isn't for you❤. Giving stray kids your time and attention means the world to fans. I have to say, however, that in watching you react, I have gone from just being excited to show you stray kids to legitimately learning from you. I had never heard many of the things you pointed out, maybe bc i am more of a lyrics/visual person. Thank you so much❤. You broadened my enjoyment of stray kids even more (and it was already huge😂). I love watching people with specific interests geek out over stray kids ( i.e. music/audio/video producers, dancers, writers, classical musicians, vocal coaches, etc), bc they show me just how many complex ways in which stray kids master their craft. I therefore love and respect that you begin with audio only, but i truly hope you will go beyond it to explore the visuals and lyrics later. Stray kids are seriously the whole package (ie. they have a live theater-esque performance for wolfgang that I'd hate for you to miss). Other pots and pans albums: I really love "In Life," and i would argue that it's even noisier than noeasy. I also love their japanese album, "the sound." "Five star" and "rock star" are also goat. SKZ 2020 is a redo of their earlier work and has some of my favorite songs on it. Ty again, can't wait for the next one!
Hi Erica, thank you for those kind words. I appreciate it. I get so much enjoyment from just actively listening that it can be almost like a high. That's why I stick with audio. I rarely watch music videos for my favorite bands because the bliss from audio is so potent. 🤷🏻♂️
@tonystocco I can respect that. I am definitely your opposite❤️. I rarely like to "only listen" bc visual artistry is so important to how I perceive things. That's why you've been able to help me open my mind/ears more, and I'm grateful for that gift🙏. Perhaps us STAYs and stray kids could help open your mind to their rich visual/lyrical world as well? No pressure. Happy to let you do "you." Your audio reactions are fantastic❤️.
What I personally love about Stray Kids music is that its so varied that its a given that everyone can find songs to their liking. And there is a song for every event, mood and type of playlist 🤩 And yes, there are some of the songs that are TV series OSTs, so spot on 😉
I saw your ate review yesterday and came back for more! I came from a classic rock, rock, edm, alternative, emo screamo background and when I found Stray Kids I knew I found something special. They're so intentional and you can tell they truly and genuinely love music. I really appreciate your intentionality in listening to theirs. You got a sub from me! 🎉❤
Considering the fact I now watched both your Stray Kids reactions today...and stayed up way too late to watch this one, it's only fair to leave a comment. I really like how you approach the songs. Audio only and so much focus on the actual music and musicality. The production. It's really great to see the appreciation for that. I know many stays love Red Lights because of the sensuality and the MV, but the music itself, the way the topline works with the track, their voices...that in itself is sexier to me than the MV. It hits me right in the stomach...in the best possible way. I was never into K-pop and then a friend sent me thunderous, scars and red lights... gods menu (talk about pots and pans) and I went down the Rabbit Hole...never returned. And Stray Kids has ruined me for so many other artists. Because of their creativity, the way they always keep you on your toes, keep surprising you...because of all the pots and pans (I LOVE that and will use it from now on), so much going on, the fusion of genres and the refusal to be put in a box. Yes. Totally ruined. But I am perfectly happy in my rabbit hole. Looking forward to more of your reactions.
Oh my gosh. I so feel your comment, ”they ruined me for other artists”. Been obsessed with them since last May. I LOVE music of all sorts, but dang, if they don’t have a choke hold on me. Everything else seems pale in comparison nowadays. It’s a double edged sword for me. 😩😆
I AM YOU!! Origin story: I heard a random beautifully sung song , in a language I didn't understand, with music that was angelically simple & I fell in love and cried and didn't know enough to find it again until a random MV called God's Menu.. I heard the voice again... nope not Felix [surprised but nope] but it was Bang Chan - [I hate to admit] and then Easy.. I was done.. They say that 'Stray Kids finds you when you need them the most.' I found the rabbit hole, jumped in feet first and haven't look back..🖖🏽
Omg welcome to the fandom❤🎉 "I wonder if thats 2 voices" that low voice is felix and the other one is chan, so youre right its 2 people😊 Also all 8 of them sing👍🏻
Welcome to Stayville! I like that you really focus in on the audio first, as that is how I choose to enjoy their albums as well. I do audio only first, then Color coded for the lyrics and then I watch any MVs. So I appreciate your choice, however I think I speak for all of Stay when I say we are up for watching the whole journey! So if you are interested in going back and watching a color coded video to get insight of their lyrics and who is doing what and/or MV, and you should cause its all amazing🤩, please post all of that reaction goodness for us to consume, please and thank you 😊
also there are behind the scenes of both the MVs and the recording sessions. Plus they always do an "Album Intro" where they discuss their creative process and thoughts on each song.
literally watched till the very end; I'm neurodivergent and i can't explain how well skz's music fits the way my brain processes things, so i feel like thats something that hooks a lot of others like me into this fandom; thank you for your honest review and i hope the next albums of theirs that you react to will also make you feel good (not every album is a goldmine, but with skz there's gold in every album for every jewellerer)
Stray Kids are labeled Kpop but the music is so much different from regular kpop! They write, produce, and mix their own music under 3Racha and makes it so much more enjoyable and special. NoEasy is an amazing work of art. Thank you again for your reactions!
You mentioned soundtracks, experimental and pots and pans a few times. It made me think you should check out the single Stray Kids put out this summer for the Dead Pool Wolverine movie. The along is called Slash.
It’s not unusual to repeatedly find a new favorite with Stray Kids, seems impossible but they continue to outdo themselves with every new album. Their music is of course why we listen to them, but these 8 artists are multitalented, from fully producing their tracks, to having a hand in the choreography, and even having input in the amazing videos they release, they are involved in all aspects of every single album release. They are truly multitalented individuals, and they have become widely respected in the industry for their body of work, their passion for their job, and incredible work ethic. I recommend “5-Star” album next. I look forward to your reactions to their MVs, which, if you are into videography, are just as stunning as their songs.
It’s not on an album but you 100% should listen to their newest song (single) Slash it was released on the new Deadpool movie Ryan Reynolds is a big stray kids fan and asked them for a song for the movie. The song is so good one of my favs!
Skz would love this reaction, I hope they've seen it/get to watch it. It's so genuine, detailed and understated. The appreciation for the production and the voices makes me so so happy and I hope they hear about it. Also? When a song isn't a fave, it's okay. You're so respectful and you listen so closely that it just contrasts when you love it and makes it more worth it when it's good. Also more believable, no one (except existing stay hehe) loves everything. Thank so much for your honesty. I hope you enjoy the albums.
My heart exploded when you said you'd recommend Mixtape:OH as a sample! To me that one really feels like them as people, and the 'pots and pans' feel like their favourite musical expression (just my own sense of their energies). Thanks so much for sharing your insight into the music and sounds they use!
I put in my AirPods to listen to it like you do and it’s my first time as a stay listening to it with headphones and I’m so glad I did. Makes me appreciate them times a thousand to hear all the different sounds I have missed
I love watching reaction videos, because seeing other people excited about something makes me even more excited about it too. Your style of video is my favorite to watch. Stop, rewind, explain what made you pause, and maybe end up sharing something the rest of us missed. Deviating from the rest of the comments to say: please remember to take care of yourself and take breaks if you need to! Ive seen a lot of people discover Stray Kids, get overwhelmed by the response, and then feel like they have to do all videos on them and get burnt out. Jumping from 100 views on a video to 10,000 can be a lot. Don’t let us pressure you! (Though I am excited to see what you discover next)
To answer if electronic, band or members, truth is we don't know. I believe it is electronic but they have a live band at concerts. They often work with musicians in the company. They all play musical instruments too, so, who knows!!
I always struggle with requesting songs for someone as an introduction to Stray Kids because you can't base the group off of that one song. I'm so glad you reacted to the FULL ALBUM because you get a little bit of everything. There's lots of songs, but for a next album reaction, I'd say "IN Life" or "Rockstar" but you can't go wrong with whatever you pick. I look forward to your next reaction!
Some of the Stray Kids DO play instruments or are learning - notably, Chan plays the piano, I think guitar, maybe drums? And Han definitely plays guitar (he grew up with his Dad who plays in a rock band!). Seungmin is learning guitar, but isn't yet confident. They do have a band that plays for them in their concerts. I'm not sure WHO is playing for their tracks. Chan, Changbin and Han are the three main producers who write and produce 95% of all of their music. I'm going to guess they have artists who play instruments for them so they can focus on the directing, producing, and vocal recording. All while they are also learning and practicing their VERY intense choreo. We're lucky in that they share quite a bit of their behind the scenes process, and I've not seen a lot of instrument playing from them, beyond rare clips. ETA to agree with you: Their vocals DO compliment each other very well! They've worked hard to work well together.
Your whole intro made me so happy to be a Stay! Most of this fandom is so great! I am absolutely loving your reactions. No Easy is my favorite album--if ATE were a full album, it would probably de-throne No Easy, but this album is so good and so diverse. I love watching your face while you listen, it is cracking me up--especially during Silent Cry. Funnily enough, Silent Cry lyrically is very heavy and dark but the choreo is sexy but performed in a very melancholy way--in a nod to the lyrics themselves. So when you said that you had no idea where it was going, I had to chuckle. I KNEW you'd LOVE "Red Lights!" 😂 I was dying watching you listen to "Wolfgang!" I love that you love the songs that people usually start off a little iffy about or think are just plain weird. *We love long videos and have no issues with pauses, so no need to apologize. Some of the members do play instruments (piano and guitar) but I'm pretty sure when it comes to recording, they use other musicians. Secret, Secret does have many parts in which 2 members are harmonizing, as you picked up. All 8 members have incredible voices so all 8 of them were singing throughout different parts of the song. I love "Gone Away," Han, Seungmin, and I.N. have gorgeous voices (btw, Han is also the rapper whom you said rapped really fast a few songs before (and that was actually quite slow for him, lol--one of our 2 main rappers...) SKZ and Seungmin have several OSTs; you should check out the one they did for the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack, "Slash," it is so cool. I was driving home from work tonight and I found myself listening to the songs in a whole new way. Thank you for that. I was listening to Case 143 and was thinking, "He'd love this! Listen to all the sounds!" LOL "Venom" has great, unconventional sounds in it for sure. The whole Oddinary album is really cool. "Circus" is great, I'm curious if you'll pick up the animal sound... Seriously though, you can't go wrong with anything Stray Kids; there might be songs that aren't your taste but they have no bad songs.
You know, I've been a STAY for almost 3 years, I've heard those song hundreds of times, but somehow hearing them through your ears seam different. You're pointing out details I never noticed before and I just love to see how much you're breaking and analyzing everything. It definately made me appreciate SKZ music even more. Your opinions are so on point. Welcome to the STAY family 🫶 and Im cutious to see how your journey with my favourite boys will progress. Im hoping at some point you will also react to the videos with lyrics and visuals in them 👀🫶
I am here for the music, exactly. Your reaction to Red Lights was very similar to mine. 😊 I saw reaction to ATE and subbed because I like the way you discuss the sounds. Glad that Stay is showing you love.
Since you loved Red lights, listen to Taste, it has a similar vibe. Both songs were cowritten by Hyunjin. Red lights is Hyunjin and Bang Chan singing. Taste is Hyunjin, Lee Know & Felix. Love how you are LOVING Bang Chan track making. He is a friggin musical genius. Bang Chan’s Laptop needs 24 hr security.
@@Nobodys_Nothing No, I think he is doing fine as a baby stay to just enjoy the eargasm of their music. He isn’t even looking at the lyric translations yet. Seeing the Danceracha RN might be too big of a step for him. Seems like he wants to take it slow and save himself from being hit over the head with the visual aspect just yet. LOL.
Stray Kids are 8 members! Secret secret all 8 of them sang, they sound so good together, this song is so beautiful because of its context, and the lyrics with all their voices together ALWAYS makes me so emotional and cry
I have really enjoyed listening to your reaction. You are so excited about all the little details I geek out over. It's like getting to share one of my favorite albums with a friend.
i found you through someone posting a snippet of your reactions on tiktok and i loved the way you were actually paying so much attention to the instrumental, so i watched your ATE reaction and i wasn’t disappointed, and now i’m here deep diving into all your stray kids reactions! i also noticed that your favorite tracks are also my favorite tracks and your least favorites are also my least favorites so we have similar taste i guess haha anyway, i’m glad you went i into this with an open mind and that you’re not afraid to tell what you like and what you don’t, always in a respectful way. you often point out sounds that i’ve never noticed and it blows my mind. i didn’t like kpop before coming across stray kids, and i was into rock so maybe that’s why i’m so drawn to them, and i noticed it’s a pattern, many stays come from rock or metal so you found the right people!

So, Red Lights was composed, sung, and produced by only 2 members. And when the others heard it for the first time, it was HILARIOUS. "Why can't you stop?" "Oh? Why is it so sexy?" "Oh the guitar,.oh..." "oh, omg oh!"
seriously. Hilarious. And they were listening with headphones, on camera. So we couldn't hear. Because the album wasn't released yet. (They did a song camp to write Red Lights, Surfin, and Gone Away).
So we just watched them all freak out and had no idea why. 😂

Wow. I had no idea. Thanks or that insight.
OMG that is so sad. Crying!! 😭😭😭
(His voice is also the one on Mixtape:Oh that you said felt like it was in your head at the beginning)
i really need him to react han in night song bc han is soooo amazing there
To continue your journey through stray kids, here are (in my opinion) the albums you should check out next, they are their most poupular ones ranging from being released from 2020 to 2023, so very new:
5-STAR- (12 songs). they won a vma for this one last year, very complete album I would say, brought a lot of attention to them from the west in particular, there is noise, of the eletronic kind mostly. - 2023
ROCK-STAR - (8 songs), right after 5 star, insane range from soft to hard, amazing vocals, and the last song is the rock version of the title track (with real instruments!!), I'm sure you'll like it. -2023
IN LIFE / GO LIVE - different albums, but in life is the repackaged version of go live , with 8 extra songs. I recommend you do GO LIVE first(14 songs) , then finish off with the extra tracks (the first 8) of the repackaged IN LIFE. - 2020
ODDINARY - (7 songs) also shows their range very well, similar to this one, from this video (noeasy), sone of their most popular b-sides are here. -2022
Thank you for the reaction, you are slowly becoming my favorite person reacting to stray kids right now, your open mind, but without lying if you liked it or not, is really fresh. Thank you!!!
thank you!

Thanks Devin

Hi Mindy. Thanks for the backstory on Silent Cry.
The way I was Brainstorming and trying to remember all the songs that are on this album and then I was like:"Oh fuck... Red lights is on this... RED LIGHTS AND... AND WOLFGANG!"
Pots and pans album I recommed is IN LIFE(re-packaged full album version of mini album GO LIVE) and if you want pots and pans with wierd ass electronic sounds then mini album Oddinary + for individual song I think you would enjoy their debut song 'District 9'
Agree with District 9.
Chan's a genius. He put this group together on his own, and he was right.
I like how this album started with songs to answer the haters and then there were songs with messages for the fans
only 17 minutes in and I hope Bang Chan (leader and one of the producers of stray kids) finds this and watches this video it would make him immensely happy just like it's making us happy.
Right?? Chan would LOVE that he's purely reacting to the music! It would speak to him as both an artist and a producer. 🤎
@@C-Locke exactly!!! He’d be so giddy abt this I prayyyy he sees this I want him to be happy abt it so badly 😭 (if Chan’s room still happened and he saw something like this he’d come yap abt it with us for sure🥲)
I'll send it to him on bbl when he's on!
Both he and Han, definitely.
I was thinking the same thing, like Chris would be all over this video!
Love your comment. Totally agree
Me gleefully rubbing my hands together, with an "Oh, this'll be fun!" at your statement that you appreciate multiple changeups in music...
I can’t wait to see his reaction to S-Class. 🤭
I can't wait for him to get to "5 Star" and "In Life"

@@fl0urboyyhahahahah so real
Fvck yea
The recorded version for the performance was only 7 members because one member was on hiatus at the time, so they re-recorded an 8 member version to release on the album once the member returned 😊
Definitely subbing to see you fall deeper down the rabbit hole 😂 Also sorry for this monster of a comment I just literally don't know how to shut up about Stray Kids once I start talking about them ahahaha. I'm actually using a great deal of self control to not accidentally write a full length book in this comment section just info dumping their whole career to you 🤣
I appreciate you taking the time to write all of this context!
Listen.. the excess need to write a book-length Ted Talk comments about these guys is a true Stayville pandemic disease - No worries.. the only cure is to wear headphones 24/7 w/a SKZ song playing as loud as your neighbors can stand it & "dance like nobody's watching". I will send an ambulance & will reserve a 5 Star room for you at the Stayville hospital. So remember to enter via the backdoor entrance, if you want to come in..🖖🏽
"i dont know whats happening" we can all relate😂😂❤just let it happen its a fun ride🤭
I read a comment that said, "Stray Kids is KPop for Emo fans" which made me chuckle at first. But, as a metal and industrial fan, it makes too much sense. Welcome to the fold.
The three songs (Red Lights, Surfin' and Gone Away) are unit songs, each produced by a different member of the producing unit 3RACHA
Through them, you can kinda guess the vibe each producer of them goes for in a song, so HAN's songs will be more chill and softer (BTW, Secret Secret is also produced by him), while Chan goes for complexity and dark vibes, and Changbin is fond of heavy but kinda light-hearted production
They all shine individually, and they each try many genres and elements, but together they are just the best!
Thank you for the reaction and the comments, I loved it a lot
Idk if Chan goes for complexity and dark. Connected, Eternity, Youtiful, FNF, Runners, Baby... most of his solos and units led by him are rather simple and retro
Omggg secret secret is soo amazing!!! 😱 I love that song!!!
@@von1glik ohh I didn't think of that, it must be Hyunjin's effect then, because Red lights & DLMLU are both like that (I only thought of those 2 at first tbh)
@@173_nora7 Lol!! 😄
@@hindraissouli8125yeah i think it's more Hyunjin,in his producing , you can see he's influenced by 3racha , and especially Chan , since he's the one teaching him the most.
But the more he produces , the more we can see the dark and complex part is definitely actually his style , way more so than Chan's ( like Taste is another perfect example , even Cover me is ,in a way)
Noeasy features some traditional Korean instruments nobody uses anymore, which adds such cool unusual sounds, I really like it.
the metal to stray kids pipeline is too real. I personaly kinda went full circle and started listening to Xdinary Heroes :))
I went from metal to Xdinary Heroes to Stray Kids. My music taste just expanded from there!
You are a reflection of me when I found Stray Kids! I am a hard rock girl from the 70’s but these boys won my heart when I heard them. Their hard work and dedication to what they love is very inspiring and their different voices and the mix of genres make their songs great!
Rock on!
ssick has a cool double meaning the first is the obvious english one "thats so sick" as in really cool then the korean meaning is ssick is the onomatopoeia they use in comics for a smirk
Wawww..your story is a same as me..great! ❤
I hope you're aware of what's happening to you right now. Don't panic but you'll never be able to get out of this hole again. It'll only get deeper and deeper and escape is simply not possible anymore. Welcome.
Truer words were never spoken. (Speaking from experience 😆)
Love this!! So true 😂
Never expected to even listen to kpop and now year and half later here i am completely obssess so agree

You. Are. Not. Lying.
Thank you!
@@tonystocco Sure thing!

Wait until you see the m/v for Red Lights 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
😂😂😂
Not sure if he's ready for that yet. Baby steps😂😂
Hello Alanis from Brazil! Thanks for writing this comment. I'm glad you enjoy the audio-only reaction. ☺️
the song Cheese is basically saying "I love all this hate on me, the more you talk the more hype I get", there's a part of the song where it's like Lee Know (member of the group) speaking his fingers and if you do in the right order, it's basically him giving the middle finger to the haters, and when Felix (another member of the group) says the types of cheese, he's basically saying that in their group there are different styles, they're basically saying, keep giving hate, it's fun and yet we will continue making ur songs and the sound "Cheese" is basically them posing for photos, basically saying "let's not hide or hide our style"
I also heard that "blue cheese, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese" is counting out the cheeses that have low lactose levels, indicating that even lactose intolerant people can enjoy them nonetheless
Wow that’s deep
@@hindraissouli8125was coming to share that information lol
I believe the reason why they made cheese is because they were getting a bunch of hate and were like we could make a song about literally anything and people will love it. So they made a song about cheese.
Honestly I like it more when a reactor has preferences for the songs rather than just saying every song their favourite, I think it shows an authentic review rather than pandering to an audience
We respect everyone's opinion about stray kids Provided that they are not underestimated ❤
I agree it is rare to have this much quality music. 19 albums already? Insanity.
I appreciate that!
Last night the mystery of RUclips presented me with your review of Ate. I really enjoyed your approach of listening to the music first, really hearing it. So it was a joy to see you were reviewing Noeasy tonight.
Wow, thank you!
As many others said, your reactions are totally refreshing!
No need to do a reaction (unless you want to) but definitely take a look when you can. ruclips.net/video/9e6cDBI6YpM/видео.htmlsi=bMdWDpdtqS5FuCGW

The reaction to red lights was all of us lets be real😂😂❤and you say that without the mv,thats wild
I’m really enjoying your Stray Kids album reviews! I’m sure 99% of the viewers appreciate your pausing/rewinding rather than find it annoying. We appreciate your honesty too! Since you’re a new STAY, there are two quintessential Stray Kids songs I wanted to recommend:
The first is ‘The Tortoise and the Hare’ from their ‘IN生 (IN LIFE)’ album.
Thank you!
I LOVE the Tortoise and the Hare! That is definitely one of theirs that I crank up the volume and just get immersed in all the different sounds they mold together
And of course the legendary God's Menu. One of my favourites of all time!
I totally understand your reasoning to doing audio only. 😊
I will say, different from most western music, a huge portion of the K-pop artistry is the visuals. I would love to see you check out some of the MVs, live stages or dance practices of the songs you did like (I.e Domino dance practice is one of my FAVs)!!!
It’s a way to fully appreciate and give respect to their complete craft, the music itself is just 1/3 of it.

several of the members CAN play instruments, but i’m pretty sure it’s all (or majority) done digitally for the albums 🤔 don’t quote me tho.
star lost was one of their concert closers for last year’s world tour and it was AMAZING; such a perfect song to jump around to, it’s so bittersweet and fun.
a lot of people share your opinion on surfin’, especially since it’s on an album like noeasy and surrounded by some of their noisier songs. noeasy as an album isn’t their most cohesive project, but i think it’s one of the ones that best shows their versatility and that was pretty much the point. i personally love surfin’ coz it’s so fun and lighthearted, but it’s never really a surprise when people who love the first half of the album aren’t as big of a fan.
WOLFGANG APPRECIATION LET’S GOOOOOOOO
i would love to hear your opinion on superboard and give me your tmi, both off the maxident album (my personal favourite). not necessarily pots and pans, but loud and different in their own ways.

as someone who loooooves picking apart the instrumentals it’s really nice to see a reactor pointing out just how complex skz’s production is. it’s one of my favorite things about their music in comparison to a lot of other groups. i’ve been a fan of theirs for 5 years now and im still finding new elements every time i listen to their stuff it’s incredible! thanks for putting out such honest reactions!!
also, i’m extremely excited for whenever you react to hall of fame (on their 5star album) for these reasons
this is soooo true and probably why s class made me become a stray kids fan. the production on that song blew me away

@@tonystocco it definitely did for me that’s hilarious. My favorite album is 5-Star so far but I love them all
I was so excited to see you reacting to stray kids again, tyty❤!!!
I'll get to the videos eventually.

45:42 the fact that they produce this masterpieces makes it much better 😭🔥💕
They say that 'Stray Kids finds you when you need them the most.' I found the rabbit hole, jumped in feet first and haven't look back..🖖🏽
Omg welcome to the fandom❤🎉
"I wonder if thats 2 voices" that low voice is felix and the other one is chan, so youre right its 2 people😊
Also all 8 of them sing👍🏻
One song you would definitely love is Side Effects! It has an insane instrumental and the screams they make are chilling
Plus they always do an "Album Intro" where they discuss their creative process and thoughts on each song.
literally watched till the very end; I'm neurodivergent and i can't explain how well skz's music fits the way my brain processes things, so i feel like thats something that hooks a lot of others like me into this fandom;
thank you for your honest review and i hope the next albums of theirs that you react to will also make you feel good (not every album is a goldmine, but with skz there's gold in every album for every jewellerer)
Thank you for watching and your comment
Thank you Lella!
It’s not on an album but you 100% should listen to their newest song (single) Slash it was released on the new Deadpool movie Ryan Reynolds is a big stray kids fan and asked them for a song for the movie. The song is so good one of my favs!
The lyric MV: Stray Kids 'SLASH' Lyrics (Deadpool & Wolverine OST) : ruclips.net/video/dhj4fK24jnM/видео.html - Earphones are a MUST.
Watching you hear Wolfgang… their live performance of this as 8 members is art. Highly recommend.
🙌
I put in my AirPods to listen to it like you do and it’s my first time as a stay listening to it with headphones and I’m so glad I did. Makes me appreciate them times a thousand to hear all the different sounds I have missed
Before I even start watching this.... THE THUMBAIL xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
You already won my heart ahahahaha
hope it made you laugh
😂😂fr. I just saw thumbnail and I was like ...YUP! sold😂
I appreciate you looking out. Thank you
To answer if electronic, band or members, truth is we don't know.
If im not mistaken, Seungmin and I.N also plays the piano :D cmiiw tho!

AWESOME REACTION! 5 star album next!
Listen to all the sounds!" LOL
"Venom" has great, unconventional sounds in it for sure. The whole Oddinary album is really cool. "Circus" is great, I'm curious if you'll pick up the animal sound... Seriously though, you can't go wrong with anything Stray Kids; there might be songs that aren't your taste but they have no bad songs.
Thank you!!
Im hoping at some point you will also react to the videos with lyrics and visuals in them 👀🫶
I appreciate you saying that Nina. Thank you.
I am here for the music, exactly. Your reaction to Red Lights was very similar to mine. 😊 I saw reaction to ATE and subbed because I like the way you discuss the sounds. Glad that Stay is showing you love.
Awesome! Thank you!
He must see Taste.
LOL.
@@DOTTAVIO70 Correct!
For Real! Bang Chan's laptop has it's own bodyguard!😆
Thank you so much!!
As a grunge rock baby, I love seeing other rockers appreciate SKZ! Good music is good music, period.🤘❤️
Hell yeah 🤘🏻
Right there with you both! NIN, Tool, Nirvana, Live and Pearl Jam were my foundation 😁
@Teneal9 YES!! All of those! And Sound Garden and STP! 🔥❤️
@@Stay4Life325 absolutely! I forgot Radiohead and Faith No More (the lighter side of the alt-music scene haha)
@@Teneal9 At this point, we should probably be best friends.🤣
i found you through someone posting a snippet of your reactions on tiktok and i loved the way you were actually paying so much attention to the instrumental, so i watched your ATE reaction and i wasn’t disappointed, and now i’m here deep diving into all your stray kids reactions!
i also noticed that your favorite tracks are also my favorite tracks and your least favorites are also my least favorites so we have similar taste i guess haha
anyway, i’m glad you went i into this with an open mind and that you’re not afraid to tell what you like and what you don’t, always in a respectful way. you often point out sounds that i’ve never noticed and it blows my mind.
i didn’t like kpop before coming across stray kids, and i was into rock so maybe that’s why i’m so drawn to them, and i noticed it’s a pattern, many stays come from rock or metal so you found the right people!
"stays come from rock or metal" -- I think you're right. Lots of comments saying the same thing.
