That was me and my wife's first dance song. Actually, we had a mix tape of a few of our favorites, "From The Ground Up", "You'll Be In My Heart", "Kiss The Girl", and "Ever, Ever After" by Carrie Underwood. Those were the first dance songs, and then we had a tape for the reception with them included.
I just got married this past October to a guy I first dated back in 1985 when I was 15. We lost touch but found each other again....He looked at me like that on our wedding day and it took my breath away

Billy, you spoke of how your daughter has changed your look on love. I have 3 daughters. Its amazing how we look for that one to love and have a family with (doesn't always work out). But that is looking for love. When she is pregnant you can love the baby in the belly all you want but when the baby is born, that's a new love. To find love and to be born with love are 2 totally different loves.

You are spot on about the use of the song at wedding receptions. I am a waiter at a wedding/event venue and I must have heard Speechless and From the Ground Up hundreds of times each over the last year or so at work. Which is awesome for me because though i cant sing, the music is always so loud I can belt out every note while I'm fetching drinks for my tables or picking up dirty stuff.
