Importance of having a proper functional air dryer system... should change filter b4 every winter... cost less than $100 and u can do it your self

Very good points buddy! Up in the north we use sniffers that feed air line antifreeze (methylhydrate) and drain your tanks before freeze up.

Best practice is to dump all air when you're parked longer than 10 hours

I need some help with this problem. I have a 2005 freightliner century class s/t Detroit 60 series. I was on my way to pick up a load, then the back of my truck caught on fire ,burning my air lines( it only burnt some of the air lines on the driver rear side.
Now that I have the air lines back connected it won't build air, but it was building air as it should before the fire. I had to get it towed,so is it something they disconnect? Please I need to work without taking it to the PIMPS.
    Thanks!!!

I'm in a dry situation with my tractor air bags not inflated, did replace the air suspension level valve and still not good, this happened when I deployed the bags and then they stay down until later days come back to normal by itself. 18 international A26. Any goods

Putting brake system anti freeze directly into a discharge line from air compressor will ruin your desiccant aire dryer filter! Not recommended!
