      Cheers Luke Briz, I'm sorry couldn't include some nice shots from in the camera in the setup, just didn't have anything interesting to film and really rather than just show the videos wanted to get the operation points across. I'm not the best at filming but I can tell you from my setup after using the points I made it is easier and nicer then using a gimbal on a stick lol.

      I sure will be just paid for the weebill s tonight and im looking at the LAING M30S Carbon Fiber Steadicam Stabilizer with Vest. Your video was 2nd best for me. Straight after j matthews. People have done some cool shots. But your video was real helpful.

    Hi mate. Watch out with the zhiyun quick setup kit. it is not 100% stable. It will create some bounce. I recomend maouning the gimbal directly on the baseplate of the glidecam to avoid bounce.

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  4 года назад +1

      Thanks Peter, I will make note to mount the gimbal directly to the baseplate of Glidecam, thanks for the tip mate. Keep making great videos on it!

    Quick audio tip: I recently started dicking around with Izotope RX for background noise removal and my mind was blown using a cheap Boya lavalier microphone. Back to the video: I find the combo idea an interesting hack. Would this work with one of the cheapo glidecam clones?

    Great vid! Very interested in doing this. I have a moza air 2 running a gh5 and a bmpcc4k w/ rig. Would love your advice on what stedicam would be appropriate for this also looking into an arm and vest to go along. Cheers

    good video but I think if it keeps going forward you missed your balance as it should stay in every position, you need to move the weight down just a little more(tiny amount).... this would make it a little harder to work with imo. It should work just like a jib in that you raise and lower it and it stays in place.

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  4 года назад

      Thanks for the tip Grow My Presence! It is very fine fine balance to get to that point you mention, I think achieving your advice would be easier in a calmer area or indoors as there was a little bit of wind during the filming of this video which was purposely chosen for it's condition. I didn't include the offtakes in this but it rain a fair bit during a part of filming this. I do like this setup but man it is heavy for a non-vest user. Do you have a similar setup yourself?

      @@BsianTech so much easier to use. Specially when I applied your tips on controlling it :). All the weight is transferred to your hips and shoulders so you can use it continuously even for much longer.
