I’m trying to look for mine and every time I go buy one they give me a different one with different connector on the harness and pretty much the one you’re changing is the exact same one I have is it possible for you to share that thanks man great video.
check the vent valve above the tank i think it needs to be open when the key is removed from or in the off position on the ignition switch. You will probably will need to lower the tank down
The transmission has been working great for nearly 2 years now. It shifts real smooth with the transgo shift kit. I filled it with dextron 6 transmission oil because it is easyer to get here in europe than ford mercon 5.
I don't know why you spent so much time fumbling around with that fuel level sender. For all that trouble and work to remove the fuel tank, you're much better off just replacing the whole fuel pump assembly, which of course includes a new fuel level sender. You will be good to go for another decade or more and won't have to drop that tank again.
Crazy question: 2009 Explorer. Do I need to drop the transmission before I can drop the fuel tank? Im looking at the manual and it looks like I do. #panic
Hi there, im having trouble locating a fuel pump for my 04 explorer 4.6L. All the parts store here in my area have a different design pump. I even gave them my vin # and the oem Ford part # and still showing up the wrong pump. By any chance, do you know the part # on your pump or where did you get it? Thanks
What a pane in the ass! We got it fixed we have the same pump and in Amaca that didn't have the right pump So we called Ford dealer and thay gave us the right part number and the other ones must have put on a different harness to fit the one you have on your truck The new pump hase the wires coming out of the pump but we finally got the right pump from china
need help, my Sportrac 05 has a problem with the gas flow. when i fill up my gas, it is very slow filling it with gas. anyone would know how to fix it or replacing a part?
You don't cut all the way dingus. All you're doing is making a access panel so you don't have to drop the fuel tank every single time. All you would do is lift the rear seats open the access panel and bam there's the pump
Yoxvan Monreal I'm going to try dropping the tank tomorrow on my 2006 explorer. Im having problems with the tank pressure sensor. You wouldn't happen to know if its separate from the fuel pump would you because there is not much info online about it

I spent forever trying to get the tank straps off. No one mentioned taking down the drive shaft. thanks for the video!

You have to check the sticker in the driver door .its have the correct información por fuel pump

How did you mange to drop the front part of the tank i have everything disconnected but its getting stuck with the front part
