    It's a shame I'm going to have to moderate new comments on this video. I was quite excited to film this video & hopefully help a few people. But the amount of negative comments because I'm reviewing something that isn't a budget item is just too much. I've had a hard enough year as it is. I work full time and spend every weekend (my only free time) making videos to hopefully help & inspire you to get outdoors. This video isn't intended to meet everyone's budget hence why I've reviewed cheaper alternatives in the past. I want to give every one options on both budget and premium gear. I've never had to moderate comments on a video before but any more negative comments won't be approved. All I'm doing is trying to help people & give them multiple options for camping setups depending on your budget

    Great review and it’s definitely the best shower system I’ve seen.
    I bump into a bloke years ago that had a garden hose with a foot valve on the end, that he’d run into the creek or dam he camped near.
    The hose ran to a 12v pump and he used a 75L garbage bin as a water reservoir.
    His hot water on demand then sucked up the water in the reservoir for the shower.
    So simple and unbelievably helpful 🍺🍺

    Your shower set is a great example of the KISS principle.
    I like it !
    Thanks for sharing .

    Excellent review and perfect timing. I have been doing research this week for one as my girl likes her daily shower 🤘🤘love the Core swing bracket 👍

      Glad I could help mate 👍 yeah I wouldn't have been able to have a shower awning without that bracket as I don't have a roof rack on the car itself

    Great review mate, I also got the Joolca shower tent and the Companian water heater, haven’t used either yet but already can say perfect, just a note for you with the ensuite, it needs to be 5cm off ground so that should solve the problem with material slipping around the top arm by rolling it up couple turns, enjoy mate.

      If I'm using it as a shower then yes I'd keep it off the ground for water drainage but the majority of the time it's just privacy for my toilet and I'd rather not share the toilet with snakes lol. That's why I like to keep it on the ground. Just in case 👍

      @@Campingdownunder lol, if I see you about at camp somewhere I’d toss a snake in there to play with you, just kidding but imagine it 😂

    Hey Paul, good to see youre a lot happier now, love your new vehicle and camping set up... a few months ago I bought one of those companion hot water systems and never used it, lol...and have just recently bought a Joolca hot water system, the middle one of the 3... havent got around to using it so far, haha, so am going to put the companion up for sale.....also love your red bbq is it the weber baby q as I have one the same, bought earlier this year and STILL havent christened it yet, lol... have to season it first...anyway take care, enjoy what you are doing and keep bringing out your great videos

      I am doing much better now thank you 🙏 joolca did offer me the water heater and base but I told them I wanted to wait until I test out my setup more first to see how I like everything setup. It does look great it's just that I keep my gas bottle on the back of the canopy so I can plug the webber straight into it without having to move the gas bottle. The webber is fantastic 😀

    Nice video mate. This brand in my view has always been good quality.
    You definitely pay for it though.
    As for the info on the length and not being attached to the arm....very interesting as to why that is the case.
    Cheers for the top review mate. Very interested in getting one.

    Kickass do have a new black and orange privacy shower awning

    • @Campingdownunder
      @Campingdownunder  3 месяца назад

      Yes they do. But at the time I was their first ever ambassador and I was with them for 5 years. I had their original shower awning and gave them feedback for their version 2. But I think they are on about version 4 now. They have been improving each time 👍

      We never had any issues with silhouettes in our one. Trick is to have a light on inside and outside the ensuite , then no shadows. Not sure why anyone would stand there staring at a shadow anyway. They would think I had my tripod setup in there filming 😂 be different for females I guess

    • @Campingdownunder
      @Campingdownunder  3 месяца назад

      It depended which direction you had the car setup. At particular times of the day you'd see a shadow of the person in there. I tried them for over 7 years total. It didn't personally bother me but it does for some people

    Both great products and designs, regardless of where they are manufactured they are ridiculously over priced.

    All great gear Paul but im repeatedly annoyed at how much camping and 4wd accessories are costing post covid, like that bracket for instance, great gear,very handy but seriously $545 , your regular 4wdriver with a family can't justify that, i personaly think the makers of these products are exploiting the 4wd boom , i know ill get people saying it's the wages in Australia, just my opinion

    • @Campingdownunder
      @Campingdownunder  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes it's due to being made in Australia. Kickass just released a cheaper imported version if you'd prefer 👍

    But agree with others, things cost so much.
    I'd fabricate something or even utilities Kings gear

      If you look right back through my channel I've already done a review on the Kickass shower awning (budget friendly option) this is a premium product. I try and cater for all budgets on my channel. I still use king's gear. My entire setup is powered by king's batteries

    600 just for the bracket no shower tent that's a bit high for swing bracket only.

    Surely there’s no need for a toilet roll. You take a Sh*t and then have a shower making sure to wash in the crack of your bum cheeks. Job done. 👍
