@@TheBlackycat man, I HOPE we can finally bring Sonus umbra or some other band to Buffalo. Take care. I run into Joanne at Columbia sometimes. She's someone i respect and like a lot.
How many here reading this were at this show?! I was!!! 12,918 views now, and I have to think that at least 500 of those viewing this were at the concert. (Not including the progheads who got scared by Roger Trigaux and the Present Boys, and left the theater.) Long live NEARfest and the great Present!
I was at this show. I knew nothing about them going into their set. They were great. I loved their performance. NEARfest fucking rocked ( lucky to be at every one but the first).
I was at the show and actually performed at NF on the same stage on the same day earlier. Band called Frogg Cafe. Present was utterly incredible. Kerman is a beast!
Great memories from that concert! After 10 minutes, a third of the audience had left the hall :-) But the most enthusiastic audience I ever had a chance to play for!
Unfortunately, You Tube won’t let me subscribe to this channel; I apologize for complaining about what seems to be a You Tube malfunction. Thank you for the upload
Does anyone know who the drummer is? I think I saw him play with Univers Zero at the Star Bar in Atlanta back in the 90's. He was awesome and stole the show!
It is Dave Kerman. He first played on the Present Live album taking the drummer position after Daniel Denis who returned in full to Univers Zero. To replace Denis is because Kerman is also a monster.
aaand, as you probably found out by yourself, he has his own "band" (of which he's the main, and almost unique, member) called 5uu's ! - he's one of the most amazing musician in the whole world... and you seem to have noticed it
@@BrentMagellan Trop triste d'apprendre la disparition de Roger, jamais vu en live quels regrets... En espérant que le groupe et son fils perpétuent cette musique !
He's not just the conductor. He's the composer and the "spirit" behind that music. Being at the front of the stage was the least he could get for that!
RIP mr Roger Trigaux
Your art will never be forgotten!
Truly. Innovative and powerful music.
I was at that show and it was absolutely amazing.
I had a beer or two with you Luis. And yes, it was totally amazing. (This is Bill Giroux)

definitely a highlight for me. I think that was my first NEARFest
That pole man...... he has one job. And he does it.
He's the Foley artist, haha.
Great great music !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is utterly incredible...I have no idea where these people get this grade of genius from.

Missing Roger trigauax
Haven't watched this through in at least ten years
Wish I could like this a thousand times

I unfortunately wasn't at this show, but I did see Univers Zero at the 2004 NEARFest, the first time they'd played in the US.

There should be several links of the band under both Present and Rock in Opposition.
Add Cuneiform records and several others for bands like this
