I really loved the healing spells section. I've played disc priest for years and years but yesterday I decided to boost a mistweaver to 70. I had to watch like 3 other videos before I found yours which was actually useful! Other guides all clearly for people who are already experienced with monk
One thing I can add to your guide is Mighty Ox Kick PVP talent is actually really good, situationally. You can use it on Paladins in Divine Shield and it will go through it and knock them back, so if they bubble to cast a heal on their teammate, you can knock them into the air to waste several seconds of their bubble.
I capped at 2.5k rating in shadowlands and I've actually learned a couple of things in this video! Especially the replacing the port during escape from reality, I've never seen a monk do that. The timming on this videos though... incomming changes soon that will chance a few things around (bye bye bonedust), but I digress... good video, keep it up!

i said this in a previous video, but the reason peaceful mending is broken good is because it works even with your statue's soothing mist. same thing with calming coalescence.
Great guide. I didnt know that hunters kick is disabled on disarm. That said I have a few comments on things that I think you might have overlooked: I think you are massively underestimating is the 8% self healing talent Grace of the Crane as you didn't mention it in this guide. I think it on its own might be better than bounce back depending on what you are fighting and its definitively better vs a lot of rot stuff that exists at some higher ratings right now. If you aren't playing bounce back, I think you always should be playing this talent over the 6% reduction when channeling sooth. You still have 1 flex point to put into 3% dmg reduction on channel or whatever else you might want. I'd also note that Rapid Diffusion isn't just useful for freeing globals but also causes envelop to apply a heal from your mastery. This is free manaless healing with massive bonedust synergy and causes thunder focused envelops to burst huge gigantic #s. This talent alone is probably one of the biggest reasons I'm sad about losing bonedust. I think right now the talent has more value than a 2nd charge of thunder focus from a mana efficiency and even burst healing perspective. Your mileage may vary. I'm not too sure about mending proliferation. Does it stack with the normal healing buff or something? a 1.5-4.5sec healing buff on a target you aren't casting on seems useless over tea of serenity, secret infusion, bonedust proc, or even misty peaks.

Not sure how relevant this is, but I thought it could have some potential. The Vivacious Vivification works off a 10 second tick, not 10 seconds from when you use it. This means if you count down from when you get the buff, about 9 seconds, you can instant cast vivify twice because the buff hits the 10 second tick right after you spend it. Maybe I'm thinking this is bigger than it is, but I think with a simple timer to keep track of the tick, you could line up nice little burst heals with this, while not having to channel soothing mist and risk getting kicked.

(See Instant Healing) - I try to understand it, but I do not find any talent / buff which says so - I guess I simply overlook something obvious - anyway - thanks a lot for the guide helped out a lot :) started monk on the same day the guide was released :)
Hi! If you hover over the spell and read the second paragraph you’ll see that it makes you mastery apply a second time. This isn’t from a talent, just built into the spell. It’s really powerful, just be careful not to press it too much!
@@MysticallTheMonk Thx a lot for answering the question. So it does not double our mastery, it doubles the effect of it on targets buffed with "Essence Font ", correct? "Gust of Mists will heal affected targets twice"
Heya, i see many high rated mw player have the "Infurious Footwraps of Indemnity" with verse crit, over the crafted head with vers/mastery why is that?
There’s no reason for that because you can actually have both equipped at the same time. It might be because the 1% damage bonus doesn’t help much unless you’re Fistweaving. We also already have a Vers/Mastery helm we can get with conquest eventually, so maybe because it won’t be much of a stat upgrade
what about set? I have set head with haste/mastery and legs vers/mastery in my vault, don't wanna choose head cuz already have crafted with vers/masterty. wanna choose bis stats legs, but idk. set bonus looks well too...

gonna be a brand new healer starting today bc of the healer shortage. Picking MW bc i think it will help me learn to use mobility and help me be a better player. Can't wait to try it out
The stronger the life cocoon, the better. Because it doesn’t have a damage reduction it gets weaker in dampening. Damage is super high right now, so I think its important to make it as big as possible
@@thimovoogt3535 you’re basically doing damage to heal. Allows the healer to play more aggressive while still be able to heal. Extremely beneficial for your team if you need that little bit of extra damage
WHat about Bountiful Brew or Attenuation? instead of mending proliferation use Unison?, and is really necessary to use a point in Gift of the celestials when we have have Bonedust Brew and revival Cds ? after all we'll have enough cds to last to have yulon again I think. Please feel free to tell me your opinion
Bountiful brew is gen gonna be better then attuitiun but if you only need a cooldown trade every 55s run attuitiun, however we are gonna lose bonedust brew anyway sadly so might as well get use to missing a massive healing cd now
The biggest struggle I have right now is dying in openers. I realize I'm not that good and low MMR strats are a bunch of cheese, but when a Rogue+MM hunter practically one shots me in the opener, it gets disheartening. How do you reliably survive double DPS openers?
Tips and tricks, you can also healing elixir while interrupted. Ive battelmaster trinket into double elixir and they are confused how i healed so much after an interrupt.
is there a way to make the cocoon macro that wont accidently target urself but also have it be mouseover? i use mouseover macros to heal but if someone dies right as i press cocoon then it goes on myself
You can use either. The 2H has haste/vers and the 1h has vers/mastery and haste/vers. They both work depending on which stat you want, I just normally prefer Vers/Mastery and use the 1H
Not really. It's the most straighforward healer in its basic rotation. Don't boost it to max level, get to learn the class with leveling and you'll have 0 trouble. Of course to play at a high rating you'll have to learn more in depth tips & tricks but that's true for all classes.
I would definitely not stack Crit and I don’t see many monks stacking Haste. Haste is good for Fistweaving, but that’s the only time I’d use it. For normal healing I’d stack Mastery. It’s my top heal every game by far
I'm really struggling with mistweaver in pvp, i got to 1800 in BFA with them but this expansion i just feel like everyone goes for me every single game and i just get absolutely trained and die so fast
Haste is good in RBG with Misty Peaks and Rapid Defusion for maximum output. Had some 45 mil healing games with haste build and it’s more mana efficient.
I've literally never had less fun than playing mistweaver. Talk about an absolute failure of a class. The amount of damage you take is way too high. Solo shuffle also feels like an absolute nightmare.

The stronger the life cocoon, the better. Because it doesn’t have a damage reduction it gets weaker in dampening. Damage is super high right now, so I think its important to make it as big as possible
@@MysticallTheMonk okay thank you! Great vid, really thorough
Do MW want tier set which increase healing of vivify by 10%(2p) +10%(4p)? Got the option in my vault.
hi mystical! is not a bad timing for a guide? i mean, theres a lot of changes and new spells coming soon!
Good vid 😁
Thank you!
Is race that big a deal? I really only like blood elfs, trolls and pandas
Blood elfs are not that bad i guess, mass dispell is pretty nice tho !
Void elf and kultiran are both rly good on mw monk as well in RBG
Can u taunt a pet when ur CC? Or do u have to taunt right before u r CC’d?
I want that fistweaving guide for Christmas!
Still practicing it to refine the build for it, but it’s coming!
Hi im new to mistweaving monk but what is fistweaving? Is that more dmg and less healing?
@@thimovoogt3535 you’re basically doing damage to heal. Allows the healer to play more aggressive while still be able to heal. Extremely beneficial for your team if you need that little bit of extra damage
@@gordonis6445 okay that sounds as a nice playstyle!
How are you burping colors
On the instant spells section why renewing mist twice?
WHat about Bountiful Brew or Attenuation? instead of mending proliferation use Unison?, and is really necessary to use a point in Gift of the celestials when we have have Bonedust Brew and revival Cds ? after all we'll have enough cds to last to have yulon again I think. Please feel free to tell me your opinion
Bountiful brew is gen gonna be better then attuitiun but if you only need a cooldown trade every 55s run attuitiun, however we are gonna lose bonedust brew anyway sadly so might as well get use to missing a massive healing cd now
@@BranBronzebeard701 Why would we lose BB?
@@adrian07quint I think the future tuning is removing it.
Probably went gloves for the 4pc?
Get well soon :)
The biggest struggle I have right now is dying in openers. I realize I'm not that good and low MMR strats are a bunch of cheese, but when a Rogue+MM hunter practically one shots me in the opener, it gets disheartening. How do you reliably survive double DPS openers?
Disarm the hunter
The master
Tips and tricks, you can also healing elixir while interrupted. Ive battelmaster trinket into double elixir and they are confused how i healed so much after an interrupt.
the channel cancel with diffuse for evokers is money....
What is your mog in this it looks sick
Hey man, really need a survivabbility guide solely. Im using your guide and literally in solo shuffle if they both go me its rough to live.
is there a way to make the cocoon macro that wont accidently target urself but also have it be mouseover? i use mouseover macros to heal but if someone dies right as i press cocoon then it goes on myself
Off the top of my head.....

Should work
2h weapon or 1h ? whats the diff ?
You can use either. The 2H has haste/vers and the 1h has vers/mastery and haste/vers. They both work depending on which stat you want, I just normally prefer Vers/Mastery and use the 1H
can u do a video about the positioning please ? i know that thats my BIG problem
i second this. these type of guides are cool but a playstyle / positioning guide with vod review examples would be sweet
Why is better the haste than crit?
Thx a lote and a good recoreving! My mate ask me all the time to play more dmg with crane but thats sucks a lote:( grad that you dont like it too
Is it hard to pick up MW if you've never played it?
Not really. It's the most straighforward healer in its basic rotation.
Don't boost it to max level, get to learn the class with leveling and you'll have 0 trouble.
Of course to play at a high rating you'll have to learn more in depth tips & tricks but that's true for all classes.
@@manthe3711 okay, done deal I'm gonna lvl one all the way thru!
@@thelastshallbefirst3653 Oh I'm not the guy who made the video though!
But yeah, Mysticall makes some great content. Check out Jag PvP too.
@@manthe3711 duh, sorry I'm slow haha!
Will do, thank you friendo!
Can u please make a fistweaving guide
Love your videos pretty good content mate ❤️
everytop monk is runnning 0 extra mastery they all stack haste/crit. why is mastery recommended here?
I would definitely not stack Crit and I don’t see many monks stacking Haste. Haste is good for Fistweaving, but that’s the only time I’d use it. For normal healing I’d stack Mastery. It’s my top heal every game by far
I'm really struggling with mistweaver in pvp, i got to 1800 in BFA with them but this expansion i just feel like everyone goes for me every single game and i just get absolutely trained and die so fast
Thanks!

Is it possible to list youre toys 😅
Sure! All of my toys here: ruclips.net/video/vDCXm1PHqpY/видео.html
Tnx alot… and HNY aswell
fistweaving is possible just look the vid from mmarkers
Hey Mysticallx, there is no priority about weapons ( Staff / Mainhand + offhand? ) i want a fuckin sword instead of a ugly staff 🤣🤣
Use whichever has Mastery
Or haste if nothing with mastery
port placement per map video when? < 3
Everyone's been saying stack haste and now your saying mastery over haste I feel dumb :(
I think haste is better if you want to Fistweaving, but mastery is better for casted healing
And you aren’t dumb! People still learning what’s good
Oh I get it your talented for mastery. Also I take chi wave to apply mystic touch at the beginning of burst windows
@@mythicdrakefox Just remember chi wave can break cc's, you can always apply mystic touch with crackling jade lightning
Haste is good in RBG with Misty Peaks and Rapid Defusion for maximum output. Had some 45 mil healing games with haste build and it’s more mana efficient.
How was your tiger's lust a rainbow?? lmao
i played against him in an RBG, man’s did 21mil healing (we lost)
I got completely F'd on by a Fistweaving Monk.
I've literally never had less fun than playing mistweaver. Talk about an absolute failure of a class. The amount of damage you take is way too high. Solo shuffle also feels like an absolute nightmare.
I am in the same place I have so much regret playing it for DF its unreal
hey man why run rising sun kick?
It can crit for 50K and really good for applying Mystic Touch to enemies
@@MysticallTheMonk what if im really bad at mw monk atm and literally dont have enough keybinds for all thses abilites lol
Amazing guide!
Could you do the same thing but with a build for RBG and not arenas ?
