  • We are totally forgiven for all our sins- past, present, and future. And we don’t have to ask for forgiveness for each sin, wondering if God will answer our request.
    So what is a healthy response when we’ve committed a sin? In this short video clip, I address this practical question.
    I hope this serves as a beautiful reminder of the finished work of Christ and the new desires He has given us.

    After ‘asking for forgivness’:
    “It seems to have worked because I’m starting to feel better”
    that’s exactly how I was before I understood total forgiveness !! It’s so liberating to understand that we don’t have to beg and plead for what we already have. Mercy, grace, forgiveness, CHRIST!

    I’ve always been taught to confess repent and ask for forgiveness daily 😔 my sins defined me, then you have pastors like Justin Peters who says we don’t have true repentance that true repentance comes from God only that made me feel even worse cause I’m thinking all those times I’ve cried out to God were in vain even though my behavior has changed, pastor Farley is right I haven’t found any scripture that says we need to ask for forgiveness daily, God has given me a new heart that doesn’t want to sin but to praise Christ daily. God bless Andrew Farley for opening my eyes to the true gospel of Christ

The second page is what to do when we committed sin. And the third page is the answers to ( if this is true then I'm going to go out and do whatever "I want" to do.) I am making page Four about the misconceptions that Christians really "want to" sin and how unbelievers get to have "all the fun" becuz sinning is so much fun right? and we Christians well we don't "get" to do that.

      It's not, unless your heavily indulging and getting drunk.

    • @robraver
      @robraver 5 лет назад +3

      Paul talks about this in one of his Letters, relating to what people eat and drink...so some indulge in certain things, and others abstain. Its not up to anyone to judge this. I dont see a problem with going to a Bar and having a beer or three and playing pool and chatting to people, maybe even 'cut a rug' on the dancefloor (and no...its not a pretty sight! ) the big IF is in getting drunk and chatting up the Ladies. Thats when trouble and temptation can arrive and quickly get out of control. The biggest conviction is against ourselves. I always feel wretched after being in trouble. I have been in all kinds of scrapes. I can not pray for many days, the wretchedness builds and I then have to speak to the Lord, admit the problem and its like a clean sheet all over. This never gives a license to sin. You got to look at a situation, who are you mixing with on a regular basis? what hobbies have you got? do you play around watching porn? do you enjoy telling dirty or risque jokes to get people to laugh and like you? forget being pious and holy in your own strength. It just dont work and you end up repressing things...and BAM!! you will cave in and indulge...then regret it. Sometimes you will get a very harsh lesson to learn. Today marks the 5th year since a truly horrible event in my life. I havent gotten over it and never will. Last year saw me almost lose my mind. I had gone a long time not praying. Asked for help and got it. So yeah, what Andrew says on this video is truthful.
      We got to weigh things up...and thats down to us and the Lord to sort out. He has done His part...will we agree and then give Him the time of day? The worst aspect of being actively involved in trouble are those people who cross our paths...who need help, need to hear the Gospel. Are we 'clear enough' in obedience in order for God to use us to help them?

      Because faith is complete trust and the duty to fulfil that trust. It is the outward expression of our beliefs. To walk in faith, or live by faith, is how you live based on what you believe. 2 Corinthians 13:5 St Paul asks believers to "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith", and Galatians 5:22-23 is a good example.

  • @cuale3688
    @cuale3688 Год назад +1

    Here’s the *real solution* if you struggle with a specific sin, this video unfortunately is only half true:
    First of all you need to understand Spirit and Flesh and what of this both is you.
    You are your Spirit that is made in total perfection, righteousness and true holiness. You are (in your spirit) exactly like Christ.
    When God looks at you he looks only at the part that is true: your spirit.
    He will never ever see sin in you, because there’s no sin you (your spirit)
    Your spirit currently lives in a flesh. This flesh is 180 degrees in opposition to your spirit. This flesh has a opposite identity as your spirit, your real you.
    The law was designed and given as a mirror for your flesh. That means your flesh is a murderer, liar, fornicator etc
    You can basically now look up the 10 commandments and see what your flesh is.
    So why said Jesus even a thought of hate equals committing murder? Bc your flesh is a murderer already. This thought came from your flesh.
    Paul committing murder hasn’t made him a murderer, he allready was. We all are.
    Your flesh is sinning 24/7, the truth is it never stops. Nobody can change the identity of the flesh, it will remain the same till it dies.
    This knowledge needs to bring you to the understanding that you can’t keep the law, not even 1%. It’s the most impossible thing for your flesh. Your flesh probably never murdered someone, but your flesh is a murderer, and just because you’ll never murder someone will not change the fact that your flesh is a murderer.
    So “stop sinning” is impossible for your flesh.
    The Bible says everything that is not of faith is sin, so basically everything that is not produced by your spirit is sin, even good works. When you “stop a sin” that is not based on who you are in Christ, its sin. Even a unbeliever can “stop” a sin outwardly. But on the inside nothing has changed.
    We need heart change, not outward “stopping sinning”. Just because you “never lie” or to be more accurate you think you never lie doesn’t mean your thoughts aren’t lying. What teaches us the law in this case ? Even a lying thought is lying. There’s no difference.
    When you understand this you can start to separate your flesh from your identity. *When you know what your flesh is, you’ll know what you are not.*
    Then you really will understand how righteous you are and you have nothing in common with your flesh.
    I believe that the real reason why Paul said he’s the “chief sinner” is because he wants us all think the same of our flesh. We are all the chief sinner. That’s why Jesus said who is forgiven much loves much and who is forgiven a little will love a little. In other words if you think your flesh is a little sinner you’ll not experience how big your forgiveness are. We are all forgiven the same big amount.
    I promise you this will change you and you’ll rule in your life over sin. This will bring you out of the law and delete your sin consciousness. This will give you a better understanding for Grace.
    Radical Grace will change you radical. Own your real identity and know that sin is a done deal for God, he’ll never leave nor forsake you. This is repentance. changing your mind to who you are and turn to Grace.
    The more you see that your flesh is not you, the more you’ll reign over your flesh.

      There is no more sacrifice for sin because CHRIST was our one time sacrificial Lamb!

      @@44099 they would have wanted to have kept on sacrificing animals because they wanted to continue sinning. But there is no repeating of sacrifice now, as Jesus cannot be sacrificed again and again, so they cannot sin again. The good times are over with Christ, no rinse and repeat cycle, as Hebrews 10:39 starkly warns them against going back into perdition. Sin no more is the message. The redeemed believer will still sin. Not because we are totally forgiven or because we haven’t accepted that forgiveness in Jesus but because we still live in the world in this flesh. How arrogant to think now that you are in Christ you don’t sin. Confess the sins you have and rejoice that they’re already forgiven. All of our sins past present and future are forgiven. We can choose to sin or not and we’re able to choose not to with the Spirit but we don’t do that perfectly. Only Jesus.
