I picked one of these up recently. If you have one of thoes giant Tama cymbal stand from the 80', the camera screws right in, so any angle is easy to get. I'm going to use the Zoom, along with a couple gopros for video to mix in my video editor. I've hrard it used alone on a drum kit, and sounds dam good by itself too
Be extremely careful that this camera does not tip over when attached to a tri pod, the housing that holds the tripod is not strong. That's exactly what happened to mine, 5 month old camera , now useless. Very disappointed that Zoom would not make this right and cover this under warranty.
Probably! You'll probably want to experiment based on your set up, but this gives you a lot of control. I'm not a huge fan of the auto gain function, but the manual seems to work just fine.
Wld you happen to know how do I upload videos from my Q2N-4K to my Chromebook? I am able to put it on the Chrome, but after that it is as if it isn't even there when I try to upload. Do you have any suggestions as to how I should go about it. Thanks
Depends on your SD card. I'd actually just keep the recording on the SD card and not move it to the Chromebook since Chromebooks typically have very little local data storage.

Good observation!
Aye bro!!! Do you know if it’s good for drums? My drums bleed through my iPhone mic and I can’t even get a good clip😔
