A big guy on the back really makes a huge difference. All that weight on the back wheel, none on the front when you're accelerating. So easy for the front to come up when you're pulling away and taking a corner, like when you're leaving a junction. I've pulled away quickly before and the front has gone up and you just can't steer because the wheels not in contact with the ground. Big guy on the back.
Yes Thank you this is what i was searching for. The reverse seating though made it hilarious and like someelse said a lot of weight on the rear instead of front wheel
@@CruisersCorner Mmm. Been wanting to test ride a Rebel 500, but they seem to be unobtanium just now. Trying to figure how that thing would be with luggage aboard. I do long trips with camping gear 👍
@@CruisersCorner For awhile this summer I rode a HD Dyna Super Glide 96ci. Kinda big for my taste! 😅 The appeal to me of the Rebel 500 is that it's supposed to get really good mpgs. And I've done long trips on a CRF250L so I know the 500 has more than enough power.

Be an inspiration to ALL girls-especially to pre-teen & single digits aged youngsters, that they can do it just as good, if not better than the guys! Build up their confidence to go after the dream, get it, then inspire the next generation of girls coming up to follow in their "tire tracks"! I hope I'm sounding like a cheer leaders to you all. I got screwed out of so much just because I am a guy. I got shut down at every @¶°¥* turn in my life. With the 300 it didn't come with pegs or a seat the 500 had them.
OK, this looks legit scary. Wondering just how top- and back-heavy that made the bike feel.
It wasn’t too bad once we got used to it. Definitely not a the best option but it would work as a last option.

Agree. Get something like a Royal Enfield Int 650 with a bench seat, if you want to haul someone around.
