I focused primarily on using an extremely light touch when fretting rather than raising the action. After seeing how high your action was I realized how lightly I could fret and get note definition. Thank you so much!!
For me I think my fretting hand is very very slightly slower than my picking hand. When I play it sounds super clean, but doesn’t ring out enough, so each note kinda sounds half muted and I’m guessing it’s because I fret just slightly after I picked it
Hey Mike! Excellent vid. And thank you. I'm just beginning to learn sweep picking. Progress has been slow. What about posture? Is there an ideal sitting position that helps with learning sweep picking?
One sign of a truly great guitar player, the ability to play at that speed with high action!

Awesome instructions! I'm going to break out the violin for the action part though. :) All seriousness, very informative!

Way too late for me, but yeah! Same thing with me!
