Its great to see such development. I can see I have a lot more exploring to do next time I am in country. I hope if Mombasa does become the African Dubai, it keeps its character. I hope it doesnt become concrete and glass. Mombasa has a unique character and charm and history which I hope they retain.

Old mombasa town and Jerusalem might be same era town due similarities in narrow street design or Mombasa is much, much older due to its Egyptians cats and Egyptian building. I noticed some buildings is clearly ancient Egyptian architecture's. All facts.

Guys I think we underestimate ourselves to much n because of our systemic n rampant corruption we've allowed n accepted mediocrity leadership; we ain't getting value for money speaking from my Kenyan point of view . The roads are costing us a tooth n nail n the same is true to any other government owned projects, prices are astronomically extrapolated. If only we could get leaders who are selfless n true patriots to their Nations; Africa as a whole could be a case study to the rest of the globe.

Yet the Tourism Board has a huge budget and we don’t see where this money is being spent. I believe we should up the ante, and get a meeting with the President.
