Your problem is windows. It constantly has things running in the background even when you tell it not to. I personally use to pop-os, a Linux offshoot, takes a little to get used to but once you know how stuff works its a really smooth operating system and it can be customized in more useful ways than windows.
I realized I had the Dominus last night since I didn't know it was a default car and started playing with it, kickoffs always go great and my flicks are insane now.
