- Environment Canada issued weather warnings for large parts of Ontario and Quebec on Friday as a winter storm was expected to bring up to 40 centimetres of snow to some regions, along with strong winds and a risk of storm surges.

Nothing better than a nice snow storm to relax at home, I cleared by driveway then my two elderly neighbors driveways. Then I went for a walk with my dog into the forest which is so quiet!

I drive a fucking electric car here in Alberta. Minus 40. The range drops from 350km to 190km
Here in Finland electricity is over priced, thanks to EV. Somebody tries to charge, it takes 2 days and costs 40€ about 45$ and get 200km about 120miles range😂 .. here even in south, winter started in november and keeps about -5 to -30°C ... useless toy cars cannot handle winter. I just put a gas and drive, no problem.

25 cm is only bout 9 inches.. i remember getting forecasts of 2 feet or more.. that was a storm.. this is just what we used to have as normal in Canada.. I am in the Niagara region and they have it played out as a storm.. barely a trace of snow and windy.. albeit some rather wierd global weather patterns emerging round the globe..

Those type of dogs live for the snow. I have a Bernese mountain dog. Getting him to come in during a snowstorm is next to impossible. Hot weather he typically only goes out for no more than 15 minutes. Much prefers the cold air conditioning 😂
