Actually Sunbeam and Frostpaw DO interact, when Sunbeam is helping that one cat over to River Clan and puts on her detective hat for a little bit and starts to think something is wrong...I won't spoil it any more than that, but I do see a lot of fans making this mistake, and as the Number 1 River fan, I must put a stop to it here and now!
Yeah! They didn’t really talk that much, but they did interact. Hopwhisker was the cat that got hurt, and Sunbeam spied on the camp when the medicine cats were busy.
I love Frostpaw. She and Sunbeam are probably my favorite new protagonists of the arc (thank god we finally have two female POV characters who AREN’T SISTERS) and their conflicts are super interesting to me. For some reason I thought Frostpaw was a super pale gray, almost white with gray coloration on her face, paws, etc. I guess I was wrong. I also imagined Sunbeam had more white on her, but not pure white more sandy colored. I also love her name, one of my favorite warrior cat names. Flamepaw is black of course but I like how some people give him some really really dark ginger/reddish-brown parts. Just for a bit more intrigue in his design. But not light enough that it can be mistaken for ginger like his mom or great-grandfather. I also like the implication (?) that Sparkpelt kind of drew away from him because he looks exactly like her dead mate (also he’s mentored by his grandma Lilyheart, I hope he keeps the heart suffix because of her).
Last I checked the website shows Frostpaw just how you described (silver point cat)! I'm not sure why the covers show her with such a dark colour, but then again the newer warriors covers all always super confusing to look at lol
Black cats can get a reddish brown cast to their fur if they sit in the sun a lot. So ironically if Flamepaw takes a lot of sunning naps he could look kinda like Firestar

I’d really like it if Flamepaw left the clans all together. It’s a much better alternative than him joining ShadowClan to be with Sunbeam (please erin’s I am begging you don’t do this) and I think it would fit him. He seems to dislike the clans feelings of superiority, so I really think becoming a loner would make him happy. I imagine if he did become a loner he would keep the prefix of his name and lose the suffix, maybe he’d live nearby so he could visit Finchpaw, Baypaw, Myrtlepaw and Sorrelstripe. Or maybe he’d become the new Ravenpaw and Barley, a cat who lets travellers rest at his place. He probably wouldn’t be as hospital though, I imagine him being cranky and poking fun at the cats who stay with him, sort of like Jayfeather. I dunno I think it would be fun
Absolutely! I also think it would be fun as we haven't really had any main loner povs, we've had Ravenpaw but he wasn't ever a pov character and just a main one. I guess I'd just like a main series pov cat who isn't a part of a clan, or who doesn't eventually join up with one. Note - Talking about main series povs, not novellas or super editions
Honestly I really like the idea of him moving to ShadowClan, but I also really like this idea! It fits him. It would also be a really nice ending to the whole name problem, since -heart still relates to Firestar.

I was really hoping Frostpaw would be a white cat or canonically a color point cat. It really feels like they roll the dice on what shade of gray they want their protagonist to be and roll with it. Please Erins, let Frostpaw be the last gray cat protag for at least the next five years 😩
I personally think it would be cool to have a villain be a perspective character since we’ve only had Clear Sky (and Hollyleaf, although we don’t do much with evil Hollyleaf) and he is referred to as the best villain in the series. I’d like to see this happen to a character (not even this ark) like Flamepaw, and judging from some iffy author tweets, Finchpaw might push him over the edge. Art looks amazing btw

For one she's a medic and we've never had a main series medic antagonist, and also she'd be the second(I think second, not counting MS because her villain arc started in the novellas) main series she-cat to become an antagonist. Also, I think there is potential in her having hatred towards StarClan, maybe because she believes that they might've caused her mother's death(Due to her belief that StarClan sent her the Curlfeather omen). Plus she's in a very high position of power at a very young age, so it would just be cool to see what they could do with her as a young leader who clearly is dealing with too much to think rationally. Flamepaw could also be a pretty cool antagonist with him being directly from Firestar's bloodline. / / / Spoilers done

I really like your art style it's so different and unique and cute. Also I really like how they handled Flamepaw's identity thing the end result was very nice, but also bittersweet you get the feeling this isn't what he wanted but he'll have to settle. I also wonder if he'll just end up leaving ThunderClan not just because of Sunbeam but because they can't see him for who HE is vs his ancestry. That is a big problem in TC that I hope continues to get addressed. Thornclaw did a good job calling it out in the Broken Code arc as well.

Alot of people say that it wasn't a problem for other people to be Firestar's descendants, and although it wasn't as much of a problem than Flamepaw's (also note most of them weren't named after Firestar at all) Lionpaw also mentioned the pressure once.

I'm in the process of learning to paint digitally and I found this both endearing and reasurring for some reason. Seeing you have fun with it reminded me I do this bc it brings me joy too! And don't get me started on FUR...also, try feathers too, it's as much fluffliness and come in a wide variety of forms.

(with the added benefit of being able to make a new layer when you really don't want to mess up what you currently have) For Sunbeam I am incapable of her looking anything but exactly like my own cat, whose name just happens to be Sunny and is also a white and brown tabby cat. It's such a fun coincidence

This is so cute!! I don’t draw cats (or any animal) with the right amount of toes lol, I always give them three on each paw. For like, two weeks I went through a phase where I was just like “NO I need to draw them with the right amount of toes!!” But then it looked weird in my style so I stopped lol
regarding the brushes: it's pretty easy to just find the default brush without edits if you perhaps wanna link it that way!! you go to the downloaded materials (default layout has a vertical bar with a bunch of little folder shapes, the folder with a star in it has downloaded materials) and when you hover over a material there is a little popout icon in the top right corner of that. click it and the page the brush is from will show up! NOTE: to find all downloaded brushes you have to select "download" (it's below 3D) for you since your layout is edited: windows tab (to the left of the "help" tab) > hover over "workspace" in the menu > click "register as workspace" :D that way your current workspace will be there to go back to! then in that same menu go to workspace > reset to default so you can get the menu with the folders. when u are done finding downloaded brushes you can change your workspace back to the one you registered. :) u can also just reload the workspace after it's set to default in the same "workspace" menu.
Next time we get a trio pov, i really want a Windclan cat in there. I can’t even remember if we’ve had a Windclan protagonist before outside of the super editions.. i’m just really interested in the clan of little guys people tend to overlook
I haven't watched this video yet, but I hope Nightheart and Sunbeam end up in a queerplatonic relationship which they use to their advantage to get Nightheart out of ThunderClan. If that makes any sense. Of course that won't happen but I can hope

its funny how ppls designs differ i think.. ive always thought of frostpaw as this pale silver-blue and brown cat with a big pile of fluff on her neck.. i also put star-lookin flowers in that mane because i reeaaaally associate her w molly blyndeff from epithet erased for some reason? my sunbeam design is pretty close to urs its just a tad more fluffy (mane again lol) and i made flamepaw look like SCOURGE.. because i think itd be funny to have a cat who lives in firestars shadow look like a cat he himself killed

i wouldn't count clear sky or hollyleaf as villains because they change their ways later in the books. mapleshade would've been the best example here

I haven't watched this video yet, but I hope Nightheart and Sunbeam end up in a queerplatonic relationship which they use to their advantage to get Nightheart out of ThunderClan. If that makes any sense. Of course that won't happen but I can hope

its funny how ppls designs differ i think.. ive always thought of frostpaw as this pale silver-blue and brown cat with a big pile of fluff on her neck.. i also put star-lookin flowers in that mane because i reeaaaally associate her w molly blyndeff from epithet erased for some reason? my sunbeam design is pretty close to urs its just a tad more fluffy (mane again lol) and i made flamepaw look like SCOURGE.. because i think itd be funny to have a cat who lives in firestars shadow look like a cat he himself killed

Im mad they didn't make one of the protagonists a wind clan cat because other than super editions I don't think we have ever had a wind clan main character
