13:55 imagine if they'd done what a lot of movies at the time did and tried to feature Manhattan itself being a bigger part of the story. Then we could all feel awkward about the ending where Jason falls off of World Trade Center 1 into a helicopter's blades.
If Mike and Rich can have 100 star trek videos why can't Jay and Josh have 2 videos on Friday the 13th? (also I'm looking forward for the Nightmare on Elm Street re:view)
It’s polarized 3D. I believe F13 3 was over under, where they run the film twice as fast. The other method is using two projectors and a sync gear that creates all kinds of horrible mechanical It’s basically how the current digital 3D works, just the new stuff works with cheaper screens. The good news is that a proper Blu-ray 3D version is finally available in Shout’s new box set, which capably replicates the theatrical experience. Any decent DLP projector can run 3D for you if you don’t have a 3D TV
So glad to hear you call Part 5 (or V) the "black sheep" because that is exactly what I call it. I'm one of those weirdos who likes it. I think it's much more believable than the sequels that follow and makes for a nifty whodunit. The ending sets up for a great new series of sequels that unfortunately Part 6 just ignored. Also, "Joey" was named by Corey Feldman as, well, I'll leave it there.

I kind of like the remake because it's not really a "remake", there's the flashback to the events of the first movie, but other than showing Jason getting the hockey mask again, it has the "samey-ness" to the other movies that Jay talks about from Part 2 to 8.
4:30-Add making a _Friday the 13th_ plot chart to the _Things to Do During a Pandemic when you’re Bored_ list!
Three shows in three weeks!!! You guys are working overtime sitting on your arses talking about movies. Your sacrifice is appreciated 😐
Pat 2 is a legit great slasher with great kills, an abundance of suspense and one of the best final girls in horror history.
Much like Mike and Star Trek, I can listen to Josh and Jay talk about horror films for hours and still come out saying I learned something new.
Jason vs Carrie is the movie I want to see now.
Thanks, Josh!
I know I'm not the only one, but please do every Friday the 13th film! Haha. Love everything you do!
"Don‘t worry. The check‘s in the mail!"
Friday the 13th part 14th: Jason Takes his ciatica medicine.
Jay must use his knowledge of friday the 13th franchise to counter Mike when he makes a star trek reference. THIS IS HOW TO ACHIEVE BALANCE
Which Jason movie were they promoting where Jason showed up on the Arsenio Hall Show?
13:55 imagine if they'd done what a lot of movies at the time did and tried to feature Manhattan itself being a bigger part of the story. Then we could all feel awkward about the ending where Jason falls off of World Trade Center 1 into a helicopter's blades.
My friend’s mom was the final girl in part 8 she’s so nice
Aww, well i'm glad she survived
I always thought it was a shame that, after taking Manhattan, Jason didn't take Berlin.
Jay: I could talk for hours about part V
Me: Do it
Jay: So lets move on...
Now this was a sequel I didn't know I wanted.
Also, Savage Streets has one of the best 80's soundtracks.
If Mike and Rich can have 100 star trek videos why can't Jay and Josh have 2 videos on Friday the 13th?
(also I'm looking forward for the Nightmare on Elm Street re:view)
I fuggin' ADORE Part 5. It has my favorite version of Tommy Jarvis, my favorite mask, and Violet is just absolutely wonderful.
We're getting spoiled with all these uploads
What talk of madness is THIS, 3 re:Views in the span of a week, that is awesome
I could watch hours of these
Long time fan, love your work, stay safe and have a comment 😁
It’s polarized 3D. I believe F13 3 was over under, where they run the film twice as fast. The other method is using two projectors and a sync gear that creates all kinds of horrible mechanical It’s basically how the current digital 3D works, just the new stuff works with cheaper screens. The good news is that a proper Blu-ray 3D version is finally available in Shout’s new box set, which capably replicates the theatrical experience. Any decent DLP projector can run 3D for you if you don’t have a 3D TV
Duelling Re:Views (Star Trek vs Friday the 13th) escalating into a mega Halloween BOTW battle royale, right?
Best channel on youtube.
RLM < Say Goodnight Kevin
You guys should do a re:View for Mystery Men. It's always been one of my favorite movies and I feel like it goes totally unappreciated.
I'm glad Jay loves my Friday the 13th movie (part 5) LOL! The most Friday the 13th of the Friday the 13th movies😅
Jay's giddy defense of Jason Takes Manhattan gives me life.
I wish I had friends I could talk and joke with about the Ft13th movies. Everyone I know is into Marvel and Star Wars
Exactly.
I love it all. Trek, Star Wars, Marvel, Friday the 13th, all of it so entertaining.
Jay was selling part 5 way too high. Everything he said is fun in concept but most of the film is a boring slog
First rule of a successful movie discussion: All parties involved have to have actually seen the movies to be discussed.
