- Pandavas took shelter in the hills of Pachmarhi. That’s how the place got its name. Pach means Five and Marhi means Shelter.

Listed in UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for its flora and fauna, Pachmarhi has a lot to boast about. From Satpura Nature Reserve, home to 17% of the country's tiger population, to the abode of bears, Reechgarh, and Dhoopgarh, where the sun shines the brightest.

It's Jai Seva means Namaste in Gondi tribal language which is used in MP.

बीते हुए 35 वर्षों में मध्य प्रदेश के सरकार ने टूरिज्म में बहुत काम किया पहला पचमढ़ी की सौंद्रीयकरण और टूरिस्ट लॉजेस और रोमांचक गतिविधि प्वाइंट बनाकर विदेशी सैलानियों और भारतीय सैलानियों को लुभाने के लिए दर्शनीय स्थलों का नवीनीकरण करके । 1989 का पचमढ़ी और आज का पचमढ़ी जमीन और आसमान का फर्क है । वाकई में आज पचमढ़ी देखने और भ्रमण करने के लायक बना है । आई ❤ पचमढ़ी । पचमढ़ी खूबसूरत तो तब भी था पर रहने के लिए कॉटेज तब भी था पर छोटे छोटे कच्चे हुआ करते थे सवारी की साधन की कमी थी । कुलमिलाकर आज पचमढ़ी भारत का पहला नंबर का टूरिस्ट केंद्र बन गया है कश्मीर को छोड़ कर । मेरा अपना खयाल और अनुभव

The best season to go at pachmarchi is monsoon between july & sep.
