    If you could take these data-driven reviews to things like broadheads and arrows it would be amazing. Keep up the good work.

      berlinetta350 Thank you so much! After a few of these bow comparisons, that is definitely on the way. These comparisons will be for all archery accessories. Thank you so much for the support!

    keep the videos rolling, by far my favorite bow reviews I have seen, non bias, no ego, just things to consider, tech specs and common sense.

      Thank you so much! That's exactly what I was going for. There is so much archery information out there that is misleading because of bias and I want to give people as bias free, authentic information as possible. Thank you for your support!

    Great video. Not many if any other channels cover more bows other than Mathews and Hoyts. It's really good to see someone covering a greater range. Keep em coming.

    Wow! Great bow review presentation. Very different approach than what I’ve seen. Like the talking points and visual presentation you did such as draw force curves, grip angles and contours,lengths of bows...very helpful and enjoyable to watch. Keep up the good work.

    Should be mentioned that although the 70# can be dialed back to 65#, having actual 65# limbs will provide you with better string tension which will give cleaner and more consistent nock release

    Samuel, your reviews are by far the best I've seen! Wonderfully objective and data driven which are the only type of reviews that are helpful when considering dropping serious $ on a new bow. You may have it already in the works, but I'd love to see a Hoyt RX-1 vs PSE Carbon Air Stealth review. Keep up the great work!

      Thank you so much for your support! I can't thank you enough. That's exactly what I was going for in starting this Strong Shot Archery series. That video will definitely be coming since they are both ultra-light carbon bows. Thank you again!

    Another great video Sam! On your half profile close up shots, move your face to the left center (left third of the screen). This gives you some space to "look" in to, and you can add some text if needed in that space. You always want space in front of your head not behind.

    ThebCarbon Air Stealth had some tuning issues with a constant nock right tear, no matter what adjustments you made to correct arrow flight. Unfortunately, the floating yoke does not all you to change the cam lean to fix arrow flight. Cam shim kits were needed to shift the cams over.

  • @StevenRosburg

    Another great video, Sam! The graph indicating let-off appears backwards, you're showing more black with a higher percentage, but this indicates the holding weight, not let-off. Maximum let-off occurs when the cams are allowed to fully rotate. You said it right, just depicted backwards, at least the way I was looking at the graph. Keep up the good work!

    • @SamuelWhiteArchery

    Thanks for the video. I'm comparing the logic and the triax. I don't recall you mentioning the swerve on the Logic and how it counters the flex on the riser.

    • @SamuelWhiteArchery
      @SamuelWhiteArchery  6 лет назад

      No I did not talk about that. Thanks for the feedback! I think that factor really helped the logic in the vibration dampening area.

    Good Review. My name is also Sam. I shot the Logic a good bit and personally thought it was a bit of a dud compared to the Prime Rize and the Centergy models... Draw cycle had a huge hump and dump and its fairly slow... Wheras the Evolve cam system has one of the very best draw cycles I have ever felt and my Stealth is exceeding IBO numbers at 28.5" draw with a 420 gr arrow.
    thanks for the video

    Samuel, you mentioned something about gaining draw length by having twists in the cable. Can you do a video about this in the future? I’ve never heard that before. I have a 31”-32” draw length and it’s hard for me to find a bow that fits me. This seems like really useful information and I’d like to know more. Maybe you can do a video with a bunch of tips like this? Keep the videos coming man!

    I like both of these bows. Whomever is first on my wish list will probably get my money vote. A 33-35ish prime logic or a actual woven carbon in different colors Stealth. Great review. And you have my permission to ban Jimi.

    Good job again Sam! But why did you have to put that vid of baby Sam shooting with that crazy elbow??!!! Brings back some not so pleasant memories.
    The dual cam thing that Prime has is designed to reduce bow torque. If you torque the bow at full draw it will actually straighten itself out. Kind of a cool feature, but reminds me of rain sensors on cars. Cool toys, but really, how much work is it to flip a switch to turn on your wipers or learn to relax your bow hand so there isn't any torque on release.

    i think you would be amazed by the difference in real speed betwin these bows ....the carbon stealth is rated at 340 IBO and 332 ATA. The prime logic has same real world speed as the pse Ferocity IBO 328 ATA 320.

    • @SamuelWhiteArchery
      @SamuelWhiteArchery  6 лет назад

      4ever2wheels rider Other people were talking about that as well haha. They said the PSE in real life outperformed the ibo while the Prime underperformed. What bow do you shoot?

    • @4ever2wheelsrider75

      Samuel White a ferocity 70# a bodnik slick stick 55# and a bodnik kiowa 55# ;) I'm not a speed freak nor made of money, so i whant the best bang for my $$$ but i'm no cheap skate either and i chose quality over price.

  • @Intermtn9736
    @Intermtn9736 6 лет назад

    I’ll echo that this is a great video! However, I’d make sure to call out that that is a carbon stealth SE, which has different specs than the EC. Also, the IBO is 340 at 29.5, not 332. I’ve chronographed mine, it actually has a 345 IBO at 30 inches which is what the prime is measured at. The logic has come in under IBO in multiple tests. So that’s a 15+ FPS difference right there! Re: draw length adjustability, one pro of the Logic is it will be more efficient at lower draw lengths, the PSE won’t be as efficient at the lower end of the cam (tested one that loses 10-20 FPS IBO).

    Samuel, did you experience any issues with string angle on the Prime? Specifically, accomplishing all of your anchors points - string to the tip of the nose?

    • @SamuelWhiteArchery
      @SamuelWhiteArchery  5 лет назад +1

      I've never seemed to really struggle with string angle because I usually adjust over time. In my most recent video, I shot a Diamond Infinite Edge Pro which has a really short axle to axle, and I didn't have any problem with the string angle. I'd recommend trying the Prime out at your range and seeing if it effects you and your anchor. I hope this helps!

    Question: I just tried triax and defiant at one store. Tried logic, option 6, and xpedite at another store. All were suppose to be 60#. The Logic was drastically stiffer to pull back especially at the beginning of the draw compared to all other bows. Has this been your experience with the Logic compared to other bows? The Logic was probably at the top of my list in bows I was hoping would check all the boxes for me. I like everything else about it but that draw cycle was harsh for me for hunting purposes. It could be the other bows weren’t at 60 and the Logic was. The shops were busy that day. Didn’t want to bother them since I wasn’t going to buy that particular day. Just trying them all out. Just curious pound for pound if Logic is that much more harsher of a draw to pull back? Thanks for any input.

    • @SamuelWhiteArchery
      @SamuelWhiteArchery  5 лет назад

      Great question! I would say that you should definitely try them again in a time where you can make sure they are all at 60#. The shop could have just made a simple mistake and grabbed a 70# bow, or accidently set it to a higher poundage. I don't think it would be the draw cycle, but I could be wrong. Many other variables can make a bow feel hard to draw/stiff. For example, how a bow balances and grip position. So if you can, I would test the logic out again and have the shop make sure it's 60#. If you have any other questions, I might respond late since I have a tournament today, but I will respond as soon as possible!

    Any plans for a CT3 review? Maybe vs a Traverse or Ritual? Also, when you do your vibration test, is it with a sight and arrow rest on, or is it bare?

    • @SamuelWhiteArchery
      @SamuelWhiteArchery  5 лет назад +1

      I'm going to try to get on that as soon as possible! There are so many bows I have to review, but that's coming soon haha. And when I do vibration tests, I record it from the sight mount, but that's for more recent videos. In this video I recorded it off the front stabilizer mount.

    Primes are the best, also why does everyone harp on light bows? Ya you might be able to "pack farther" but ittle be harder to hold steady. My centergy hybrid is around 15 lbs and I don't have any problems hunting or target shooting. Awesome bows with so much innovation it like he said make sure you get the right cams I got some that where a little to long for me because I thought I would grow more and I wanted to get more speed, if you get the wrong cam it's an easy fix just shorten your d loop, decrease your let off, and twist your strings.
