I think Jennifer Aniston's performance is so on point in these 2 episodes in particular. Rachel displays selfish traits in not helping Monica with the apartment, adorable awkwardness around Joshua and then masking jealousy over Ross and Emily. It takes great skill and comedic timing to pull all that off without making the character unlikeable.

I was so disappointed that they wrote out Kathy so quickly. For once, Chandler was actually happy and in love, and they had spend so many episodes of building it up for them to finally be together. And I really liked her as a character.

Don't know if someone on Patreon has already said this, but the girls Jennifer, Courtney and Lisa pleaded with the writers for Kathy to not do that to Chandler. They wanted the character to stay on Friends as Chandler's girlfriend.

A shame to have wasted Kathy's character by sending her off like this so quickly. Paget Brewster who plays Kathy had also said in an interview that when she discovered that her character was leaving the show, the other girls, Jennifer, Courtney and Lisa had done everything with the writers to try to keep her a little longer. in the show. It was so kind!
And Paget is just such a wonderful actor! I adore her
Jennifer Aniston and Tate Donovan (Joshua) were engaged but broke up shortly before this was filmed so it was a bit awkward. Also, Tate voiced Hercules where Charlton Heston served as narrator.
I was actually so pissed the writers did that with Kathy. In spite of what happened with Chandler when she was with Joey it felt so out of character for her.

Great performances from Jennifer Aniston and Tate Donovan considering they were newly broken up after a 3 year relationship here. They both act professional though and make the most out of their scenes.

Same here. It's a shame what they did to Kathy. They had very good chemistry and I don't buy she would do that. Not this quickly, at least. Seems out of character to me. Granted she technically cheated on Joey but they weren't going very serious and seemed like she really had fallen in love with Chandler. The actress fought for it so they wouldn't do that to her character but it was no use. They made her look like a chronic cheater and I don't believe it. Probably my least favorite decision in the show. Although it will lead to one of my favorite.
Probably she had been in so many episodes her pay so I d have increased a lot of she had stayed. I didn’t count her episodes but I think 6 is cut of before you become a regular and not a guest

They had been a couple. They had just broken up before he was to appear on Friends.

I watched this show when it was on air back when I was around 10 years old I think.
I was addicted to this show.
Chandler was always my main favorite. Then came Ross Monica and Rachel.
So much happens through the seasons that will continue to shock you.
But one of the biggest shocks is soon to come by the end of this season your watching now.
But it should not surprise you, Friends tends to go out with a bang for their season finale.
And surprisingly, you've had some pretty spot on realizations that some didn't catch that would happen later in the show.
I think you will be surprised just how spot on you've been in your past predictions.
Just be patient and watch the show unfold and continue to amaze you. You will not be disappointed.
Infact this season your watching and next season especially is some of my top fave friends seasons I re-watch the most.
It's epic! And it just keeps getting better.
I was truly heartbroken for Chandler after having opened up his heart to love only to get cheated on.
But he deserves a much better love than her.
So even though he may seem unlucky right now. There is hope for him for a much better love. Just be patient and keep watching.
If anything, I'm glad he had he experiences with love with Janis and with Kathy. I think in time it helped him grow and mature to one day be ready when a love worth fighting and living for would one day come along.
Chandler is the funniest and most easiest character in friends to love. And the reason Matthew Perry played him so well is because he felt like Chandler was an extention to his ownself and his own fears.
The only thing that is hard for me when I watch Friends is knowing everyday before shooting Matthew Perry showed up usually drunk from the night before because he was an alcoholic and he tried to hide it for years. Then he started getting help with it and he spoke highly of his Friends cast members and how much they helped and supported him during his darkest hours.
In the earlier seasons you don't see his struggle as much.
But he was drinking everyday he said since he was a young teenager.
But as the seasosn continue and he weight fluxiates from putting on a few pounds to losing alot of weight in between seasons. You see his struggle. But he still remains the lovable funny Chandler. Only now your more aware of his struggle.
I just loved and adored him in real life and his character in Friends and in his movies FOOLS RUSH IN and Almost Heros with Saturday Night Live actor Chris Farley.
Matthew has been an actor whom I've loved and adored over the decades.
It broke my heart when he passed away.
I hope and pray he found peace with himself and with God.
I also pray for his friends and family.
We lost dear Matthew far too soon.
So I tend to go back and watch some friends and be reminded of the times I watched this growing up when it was on air and brand new. I can still find the joy I episodes I've seen thousands of times.
And alot of that is due to Matthew Perry. What an incredible man he was!
You may be late for the party, but better late than never.
So I'm truly happier than a pig in mud that you chose to react to friends.
I also think it's sweet how endearing and adorable you find Phoebe when some guys might just find her sometimes funny but annoying.
You have a big heart and a great personality. And you seem like the type of young man who knows how to treat a lady based on what I've gathered from your reactions.

I just turned 37 years old. And although I do enjoy alpt of the shows and movies out today.
It's nothing compared to the great love I have of shows and movies from the 1990s which was the last of best decades in mine and several others opinions.
The music I listen to the most in several genres is from the 1990s.
Though I do have an appreciation for music before my time especially the 50s and 60s.
But 90s music, shoes and movies were a huge hit all around.
So I hope you will dive more into shows that came from the 90s and early 2000s.
Especially Smallville, Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls,
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the spin off of Buffy called Angel, 7th Heaven snd many others.
But I would truly love it if y9u would co sides watching in order all of the I Love Lucy seasons.
I get so mad when reactors only see short skits from the show and that's it. That show was freaking hilarious and even my 44 year old husband us a huge fan of the show and enjoys watching it with me.
There is season 1-6 called I Love Lucy. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were a real life married couple.
They were also in some movies together. The 2 movies I loved most with them was called THE LONG LONG TRAILER, and FOREVER DARLING.
Now there is a combination of season 7, 8 and 9 of the Lucy Desi Comedy Hour which basically continues the I love Lucy show but instead of 30 minutes it's more like 45 or more minutes long.
And it's really hilarious as well.
Sometimes I have days where I feel a little under the weather or a little depressed. And one thing that cheers me up is I Love Lucy. No other show has ever made me laugh more or harder.
I can still find friends epwiosde funny and entertaining. But if I want a genuine belly laugh and laughing so hard to the point of crying, then I watch I Love Lucy
You have such a great sence of humor. I really do think you will love reacting to the show.
And since not many other reactors are foibg it, you will surely draw in a big crowd of subscribers and viewers because I Love Lucy is a huge hit for many people of different ages. You can't go wrong in reacting to it.

Kathy was completely within her rights. She was accused of cheating when she was not, and she was insulted as an actress. And like Ross said, if she thought the relationship was over, oh well, move on and find comfort in the nearest strongest arms.
Oscar: This is what I'm saying! Never listen to Joey or Ross! Whenever you aren't sure about something, you feel like the other person has certain feelings for someone else, the best thing to do is to communicate with them, and ask them how they flippin' feel!

This first episode made me so sad... Chandler and Kathy had such GREAT chemistry... I absolutlely loved them together. :( The actress went on to get her own series, which didn't last that long, then she was on Criminal Minds for a long time.. but she was sooo great as Cathy.

I appreciate how you remember how quickly Ross moved on with Phoebe's bald friend. Ross is relatively confident in a dorky kind of way that he's charming. The whole Emily storyline...well, I'll just let it play out.

I really like rachel i want to like her like her and ross it should never happen ,but Rachel is a good friend and not such a bsd person even considering how she grew up which aint her fault for being rich and spoiled by her parents and them not teaching her how to make it on her own in the real world, her character gets hate no matter what people love to hate on her it's annoying they act like she so evil, they ignore many flaws in ross , Monica, Phoebe, chandler and Joey.
The actress Jennifer Aniston who plays Rachel is truly underrated i feel that people don't know what underated is cus they say it about chandlers actor and rosss actor but they not underated.
