I always dig videos from FF, not only for the products, but also for the beautiful farm footage as well as the stories from the farmers. Keep it up 👏👏👏
Just to add, there are many nearby Amish growers that use tunnels extensively. There is also a large local manufacturing industry for protected growing, making hoop houses and high tunnels mostly.
Also in NC, 3 acres around Browns Summit. Zone 7B, clay rocky soil. Busy putting in hardscapes right now. My intentions are to feed our family first, but now taking into consideration that I could make a living from what I love to do. I think there is hope that I could do that. I’d love to see what that future might be like. Thanks for the vid. ❤
Your videos are well produced and express a lot of good emotions about life and food... I feel like having to live a life this close to the nature away from all the busy city life is just so peaceful ☺️
This video really got me thinking. I grow flowers around my house like nobody’s business. However, I’m thinking maybe it’s time to take the next step and be productive by growing food as well. I’m in Zone 9b so adding citrus and other fruit bearing trees would be the way to go for me. Thanks for the inspiration!
I know what you mean about that rainfall. In northern Delaware we have gotten 45-70” annually over this past few years. Growing under cover is a game changer, even for us kitchen gardeners.
That is awesome! Best of luck to you! If you have any questions during your install feel free to contact us through www.farmersfriend.com/support/help-center
Can you REALLY throw a lettuce transplant and get it in the hole EVERY time , or was the movie heavily edited ?......trick photography perhaps.....I have my suspicions !!!
Hi Jonathan, another inspirational story and video! I am a cancer survivor who started growing organic vegetables for a healthy lifestyle over 10 years ago. I have been utilizing the market garden techniques for a home market garden. I have a small RUclips channel with my son. LeaveMeAlone ImBusyFarming and would like to collaborate with you and your company for the home Gardner community. I have never wanted to monetize my channel, it’s about inspiring others to grow their own organic vegetables. Hugh Ziccardy
