@@Regii632they haven’t said how it’ll work, but if I had to guess it’ll only work on maps where the BTR would spawn normally like streets of tarkov. If it can be dropped in customs or any map outside of factory. Would fuck the whole game up, we don’t have any way to deal with it, it would just be an invincible death machine rolling around a map.

every wipe the game becomes more and more of a grind. my first wipe I made it to level 36, next wipe was 31, last wipe was 20something. this wipe I havent even unlocked the flea yet. BSG HATES solo casuals

As a standard edition account that is currently sitting at level 48, i couldn't feel more disrespected by a game company. I unistalled the game a week ago and have no desire to download again.
I'm not playing a paid, expensive one for that matter, p2w game that is full of cheaters, bugs, desync and stupid time sink mechanics.

the 1.0 tarkov at this point will be the same exact game we have today with the same game loop, with a few extra guns, more quests (forget the quest rework) and a streets expansion. basically not the original idea nor promise. i am done.
He dumped our money into a game nobody wanted instead of finishing the game and sticking to their promises. They laugh every time nowadays when somebody asks about the open world or physical traders, but THEY WERE things that were promised. It's okay for plans to change on a pre-release game, but they've been transparently cashing out for a long time now.
But until now there were a majority of simps willing to lick Nikita's boots no matter what BSG does or how terrible of a state the game is. They can enjoy the P2W, cheater infestation and broken audio & performance I guess.
I'll stick to SPT for my Tarkov needs and play other games in the genre.

Well, people sure are talking about it!
This is the crux of pay to win mechanics. You can call it "pay to progress", "pay for convenience", whatever you need to tell yourself but when this type of monetization infects a game it can and will only get worse. That $250 dollar price tag needs to have a reason to buy it on par or better than what's been available in the past. Gotta make it appealing. I know people don't like the slippery slope arguments, but we're here. We're on the slope.
slippery slope arguments aren't a fallacy when you consider the party that is on the slope is compelled to slide down it, with little to no incentive to resist. for example, politicians and corporations.
This isn't a slope. We are full on free fall at this point, terminal velocity and all.
I would say the convenience of certain things is whatever. More stash size, the container, and more starting gear and trader rep is whatever.
However the ability to call a fucking BTR is ridiculous, to call friends into your raid? Ridiculous. The Scav thing? Ridiculous. None of those things should have been added to the game. Honestly Unheard should have been 150, or 200 to put it nearly on par with EoD, and to give people a chance to jump in at that higher support thing if they so wanted. Excuse the extra 50 bucks being a “late adopter” thing. Iunno. Any number of things they could have done the release of Unheard better.

When you have monumental amounts of evidence across an industry, or historical evidence of events occurring then it’s a reasonable argument. BSG is now traveling yet another well beaten path and there needs to be adjustments to how they operate.

They will try again, and they know they effed up but not for the reasons that the CONSUMER says they did. They were too bold, too forward. It will be much more subtle next time. And slowly, over time, we'll be right back here. You want pay for advantage you're going to get it, and if you really want a fair game on an even playing field you have to accept that ANY advantage is too much. Convenience, time, progression, it's all winning to somebody at the end of the day and it's all headed the same direction.

I’m willing to bet the beacon for “everyone” is locked behind a lvl 60+ light keeper quest
How do they think they can rush to complete the game. We've seen no glimpse the pieces are in place for the open world concept to even come close to working. Lightkeeper is a prime example of this, how are we going to buy / sell items while in raid. How / where will we access the stash? What happens when we die? How will the factions work and prevent killing others of the same faction. I dont think it's even gonna happen at this point

For the calling in backup item I have a few ideas to make it less ridiculous :
-Make it so you have to be high up to call in your teammates
-Make it so teammates spawn in with either a weight limit / reduced raid timer / etc.
-Make it so they spawn in at logical locations, not just where the player is chilling.
-Make it so it takes time to call them in, potentially having to defend their location from ai and or alerting PMCS to their location.
-Disable item at start of wipe for a duration to allow other players a chance to progress without getting owned.
this is a great idea until you realize that this will make it hard for the player (which seems like a great idea) but it actually also makes it perfect for cheaters, a cheater can do all this, at once. And as we all know, bsg loves their cheaters.
Im pretty sure if BSG had added new clothing, Camo patterns for guns, helmet and armors. they would have made more money in the Long run and wouldnt sit in a downward spiral straight for the abyss. Heck they could even have sold some new character models

Honestly i appreciate you going through all this trouble to spread this information. I had given up on tarkov over a year ago and im just done with it. Watching my favorite game just absolutely shoot itself in the foot, look at it, and then do it again mind boggles me. I just cant fathom how Nikita has rationalized that he somehow is the victim in this situation. Good luck to all of you still playing, i hope the game continues to bring you joy like it once did to me.
They're screwed. This can't be undone. Only a 180' is gonna fix this and doing so puts them at odds with UE customers but not doing a complete reversal will eventually destroy Tarkov.

BSG seems to keep making changes that NOBODY has ever wanted or asked for - the game will end up like battlefield/COD at some point and lose everything that makes it ruthless and enjoyable

I checked on the BSG stream just to see what was happening, and it was all in russian :( but the one thing that i did notice is, only 2k people were actually watching, thats almost unheard of for a BSG stream, i am glad to see people are not going to let him live this down.

Mans released Tarkov arena when EFT isn't complete - now adding another PVE game... he couldn't manage EFT development, now he has 3 plates to spin at once so it's only going to get worse. All three plates are on fire.

I was a believer at $150 but that "believer fee" came with stipulations that were changed in 4k when you wanted me to believe $100 more. At this point I believe no more. But Nikita can best believe I won't be playing the game no longer. Fuck Tarkov rather play Raid Shadow Legends, at least in that game you know you're getting fucked.

@@Chnkp You might be casein intolerant instead; could give A2 milk (or goat milk, it's better but more expensive) a go. If milk that has had lactase added to it (enzyme humans have but sorts of stop producing when they don't have milk for a long time) then lactose isn't the problem.

The ability to summon a small military force in a pvpve extraction survival shooter, is kind of a huge counter to the genre the game established to begin with. Glad so many people are escaping.

Ironic thing about the reinforcement beacon is that it would actually help their server load in PvE, you wouldn't need to que for a new server if your friend was already in a raid.
The fix is so simple, remove it from PvP.

I invested a decent amount of time in this wipe early on before burning out. All the talk about Tarkov made me want to get a couple raids in, so I hopped on for a bit. Got killed by an obvious cheater in my second raid doing 90 degree snap turns. Figured since I was just craving some action, I'd hop into some unranked Arena. Straight to the action and no cheaters.
Second Arena game had a dude on the other team hip fire spamming his AS Val who's bullets would take 90 degree turns out of his gun barrel around corners and insta-dome everyone. We had to suffer through 5 rounds of that.
I'm done.
just leave, its unranked, just played 3 hours no weird stuff, the new mode is fun and the little map expansions were cool
If you're still after tarkov, go take a look around youtube, I've been seeing some interesting trending stuff that makes Tarkov better, otherwise other pvp games can hit the itch without the pay to win and hackers. (Or so they say, I've never been one for pvp)
I’ll say the forbidden thing because I could not care less about what Nikita has to say at this point.
Go setup SPT. There’s other supporting mods that can help make it a more realistic experience or really customize it in any way you’d like, but overall it’s so much more enjoyable. I wish I had done it long ago.

I have an EOD and left the game several wipes ago due to blatant cheaters and never planned on coming back. That being said all this attention opened SPT to me and I have been having a blast again. BSG will never get a penny out of me again or any game they create next. If left to them they will **** you in the ass.

I get the bad taste everyone has over this and BSG could have easily side stepped it all by being completely honest about their situation. I don't like giving money to companies when I think they've been acting like lying scumbags either. However, if they would just be honest now, I wouldn't think twice about giving them some more money. I've been playing since 2019 and before this I supported an obscure game online for years at $20/month. I mean what is another $100.... 3 delivered pizzas? I can skip those to help a game I like to play...... but just be honest with us Nikita!!!

4:30 mark, thank you OnePeg for also pointing out that even the "deep pockets player" who was a true believer and paid the 250 is now no longer a believer; since in order to "make it right" BSG essentially equally screwed those folks that paid 250 in order to appease those that were upset. One one think that upsetting both sides of a customer base is usually difficult to do, yet here we are.
The only positive in this situation for me has been starting SPT and how much I’m enjoying it.

idk that the folks who paid for the unheard edition would be upset if there are tasks to get the same benefits. I really don't think that the loss of the uniquity of the unheard edition isn't major.
Some people with Unheard already plan to just delete some of the container items at the start of wipe just because they enjoy the process of building up their stash.
The thing that gets to me most is how he said the PVE wasn't a DLC or whatever BUT you need to buy a Tarkov package to get access to it in general.... If not DLC why does someone need Tarkov?
I got back into Arena. It's nice to play when we are mid/late wipe and you dont want to wear yourself down before the next wipe. Also is good for 'warming up' and Im curious to see what itll be like with tied progress, it could then be a good money maker.. but will it be balanced?

I agree with almost everything you said except the end, if people want to buy something, even if you don’t deem a good value, for $250 after the edition changes were announced who cares. I don’t think strip clubs should be shutdown because I deem it a waste of money.
That item to call in friends makes no sense. So what if every player in a raid uses it? All of a sudden the raid size magically quadruples?
I had EoD and bought Unheard at $105 after tax, is there a way to get refunded the difference from the adjusted discounted price? I don't want/need another copy of the game.
no one is saying, because probably no one knows, that this thing where you call for help is copied from a tarkov clone, it is a mobile game that you can play on steam, and when you are downed you can send support request, which will show up in the game chat, and even random people can opt in to help you,
in that game, there is also an item that you can use if you die to go back into the same raid you died in, with 3 different option, naked with a pistol, or with 2 tiers of loadouts, and it will point you and the guy who killed you in each other's direction .. which i guess will be coming to tarkov in the nemesis edition worth 500$
Nikita truly made the Game he wanted in 2015, made for Cheaters to make an RMT Business and buy accounts every few Months.
Long story short, the only leftover reason to enjoy that man's presence is me remembering the "USEC microwave"

Honestly, now that Nikita talks through it, and distress signal is available to everyone, I got no problem anymore. I pretty much quit the game last week but looking back, it wouldn’t even be a huge deal if it was only cuck edition that got it. Everyone can load into raids with friends. I bet nobody would even use that thing.

Honestly as an EOD player, the "advantage" before all of this wasn't enough to keep me from running out of kit and money by level 11 this wipe. Yes I'm bad , but it helps to show just how not pay to win it is. This new stuff would definitely be a game changer and cause more success for those with that new kit
I'm sorry but more than double the size of a pouch is extremely P2W. I know because that's one of the p2w feature that made me pay for it (the other one is vendor karma).
Of course since then they added a lot of things to make everyone else's progress slower, like flea market limitation, less ammo availability, and the shitty ground zero start everyone HAS to go through to get other quests, forcing everyone in very high heat areas.
Add to that the fact that they have to keep the streamer treadmill running, yeah you will have a hard time. If you are frustrated you will play more, EoD removes some of the frustration.
@@hardlogic3046 pouch means nothing if I only need stuff that's found in raid and I die. I've seen such lackluster loot that it's just not been worth. My puch is usually filled with meds and a wallet with money for vehicle extraction as well as some packing ammo, it doesn't get me anywhere if I get head eyes by a toz scav on woods while I'm running customs. P2W implies even as bad as I am I could get all this stuff and it would improve my gameplay, but that's not the case. This is a skill based game, and gear is dependent heavily on if their systems function like they are supposed to.
Maybe the people who are complaining the most that didn’t buy the upgrade should reimburse those that did.
Their push to 1.0 reeks of something other then simply trying to finish it.

I think itd be cool if the "friends" that were called in by the distress signal were rode into the raid via helicopter so you would at least be able to see/hear where they were spawning in. I just hope the "friends" don't spawn in out of the blue.
