Hello sir! Could you please elaborate at which point the Test Plan is created? 1. At the beginning of a project, while design and requirements documents are established, or 2. Before starting the formal verification cycle? Thanks in advance
Congratulations Lavanya!! It's a great achievement for you!! Thanks for the detailed feedback.. It's always my pleasure when someone finds my content aligned to there preparation and pass the exam. All the very best for all your future endeavors.
Hello Neeraj, do you know if we need to know the definitions of every type of test strategy or just names? I can't find any questions about this at the moment. Thank you for your support.
hello what happens when the exit criteria isnt met for example i think if there are too many defects, developers will fix those defects and testing will take place again what do the testers do during the fix of those defects?
Defects do not come at once. These come one by one or more than that. So these are retested as per they fixed. And in free time , testers work on other requirements.
Hi Neeraj, Can you please provide explanation for below. Correct answer is A. why its not D You have been given the following set of test cases to run. You have been instructed to run them in order by risk and to accomplish the testing as quickly as possible to provide feedback to the developers as soon as possible. Given this information, what is the best order in which to run these tests? Test Case ID Duration Risk Priority Dependency 1 30 mins Low 6 2 10 mins Medium none 3 45 mins High 1 4 30 mins High 2 5 10 mins Medium 4 6 15 mins Low 2 a. 2, 4, 5, 6, 1, 3 b. 4, 3, 2, 5, 6, 1 c. 2, 5, 6, 4, 1, 3 d. 6, 1, 3, 2, 4, 5
Yes the right answer is A as you are asked to follow the risk priority and test 3 and 4 are of high priority. Given both are dependent on 1 and 2 respectively. 2 being medium and taking less time will start with 2 and complete it this will remove dependency on 4 so you can test 4 next. Similarly continue the approach to come to answer. Test 6 is of lowest priority why would you start with that.
Thanku Neeraj for the explanation. I had been following your videos of ISQTB- foundation level and have cleared the exam with 33/40. Thanks for all your training videos. I am not from IT background so what should be next step for me as I am looking to start my carrier in testing jobs. Please let me know if you give additional training for this. Thanks!
@@TMSQUARETECH here is difficult to understand why is 3 in the end? If we have a task like this, who we give priority to? Duration or Priority/Dependency?

I think the answer is A, because schedule and status about fixing defect and remaining risks defines the exit criteria for testing.

Hello Sir,
Third and fourth bullets are same in exit criterion? What is the difference? How we estimate remaining defects?
Hi, my guess is that unresolved defects are definitely found and confirmed, whereas estimated are only assumed to exist

Yes the questions are very rare but yes being aware of one line definition is always beneficial to answer that one rare question.

Hi Neeraj,
What certifications can a "Test Lead" consider? provided he has done a ISTQB foundation level certification.
