Hello brother, i already did this connector, as you instructed in the video, may i ask, i am using the elm adapter with the orange color, will it work with torque pro app or only for forscan?

Hi, only works with Forscan , Torque pro doesn't work, it can't communicate with Mazda obd1 ecu

Hi Lim,
I really appreciate the effort for making all these videos. Unfortunately I’m still in a dilemma. I did almost everything right. Still getting a connection error on all my OBD 2 scanners. My OBD 1 port (on my car) doesn’t have pins at 17 and 11. Can you please help me ? Here is a link with a picture of my OBD 1 DLC Connecter.

Hi,
Based on the Mazda obd2 dlc socket that you shared with me,, it using k-line protocol .
Pin2 (KLN) Pin4 battery power 12volt. Pin5 ground.
You just need these 3 wires connected.
Which model of scan tool that you are using ? Did your car DLC port able to power on your scanner ?

@@lalim923 Thanks for the fast reply! This combination is the first one i tried. It powers on the scanners all of them. (Ancel ad410, bluetooth bafx, a knock off-brand elm 327, autel ms309). I think that the scanners are (maybe) not compatible with my car. Is the launch CRP 123e 2021 elite better or should the above scanners work?

Ancel AD410 confirmed it not going to work with your car, I have this scanner .
No need to buy expensive scan tool like Launch. most cloned ELM327 will work fine. The app comes with the ELM327 will not work with our Mazda OBD 1 car.
The only app works is Forscan. what is the error or the debug code during launch of Forscan ?

@@lalim923 this case is the same as mine sir, i have tried it but failed. i am using elm327 v1.5. for connection to the device it is ok but when connecting to ecu it keeps failing. is there anything missing sir
