    I have an 07 FA5 Fiji blue with HFP package. 110k on it. I got mine repainted from the dealer due to the clear coat failure. I parked it in the garage right after, in 2015, with a cover on it. It is absolutely mint. I love this car. Kuddos

    8th generations honda si are one of the best generations of the Hondas built 👍. They are for sure worth it and they have a lot of potential and, soon will become a classic car worth a lot of money some day very soon 👍. Beautiful vehicle by the way

    It's a good platform for a track car in my opinion. Minimal to no rust. If it's an Si, you can easily swap a K24 and just do a Hytech or Toda header copy, 50 degree VTC gear, Haltech 550 and have good power. The MacPherson strut in the front and double wishbone in the rear seems to work well for this car, so just a decent set of coilovers will do. You can source Acura CSX bumpers, trunk and tailights (cheaper since it's closer to the US) and Honda FD headlights and grill and your FA5 will look like an FD2

    • @el00hel
      @el00hel 7 месяцев назад +1

      why is everyone just dumping the k20? it is arguably more visceral and a better driving experience than a k24 swapped car. the only thing a k24 swap has is slightly more low end torque.

      @@xxawsomeghostxx959 it’s the same argument for people who K swap s2000’s. I have driven both, and if you drive the s2000 like your supposed to, which is ringing it by its neck and keeping the revs up, it’s 1000x more enjoyable with the stock F-series motors.

      I have this same issue. I used to love the look of the 8th gen sedans, but then started to gravitate more towards the coupe. Then after seeing so many 9th gen coupes I started to prefer those over the 8th gen entirely. but someone told me that the 8th gen K20 is still not the "right" K series you would want and you would still want the RSX type S motor if you want to boost it but I don't know, I really just personally want to get an SI after owning like 5 or 6 92-00 civics. I love Hondas and my fiance just got a 22' SI and its a nice car but idk, it seems like its lacking the experience I used to get from my older Hondas.

      @@tristenmueller9160 8th gen si k20z3 love boost. They can hold power, it’s the tranny that will need to be built if you’re going for crazy power. 8th gen has the right K20 and has a better motor then the 9th gen.

    • @Si__Jay

      only thing 9th has better is that it’s a push to start and it has more torque, 8th gen all the way in all categories

      after spending countless hours on research and RUclips reviews and builds the 8th gen is for sure faster and easier to build but daily drivability 9th gen wins that's why I went with that! picked up a 9th gen last week and absolutely loving it! @@Si__Jay
