Hi Summer Rayne, Thank you very much for the orchid tour. They are my absolute favorite genus, and I currently have 52 in my plant collection. I am looking forward to your next adventure. ❤❤❤

Great tour as always, I also love the behind-the-scenes parts. Interesting to see a botanical garden using the blurple lights. I bought into those when I first started collecting orchids, but I've been moving away. Never really knew how true the advertising about them was, but I do know that besides being unpleasant to look at they also make it ALOT harder to spot pests and rot.

That aquatic house is pretty spectacular! The orange orchids in the cooler back section of the orchid house are actually Masdevallias from Central/South America. You may be thinking of the Disa orchids that grow mostly in southern Africa. That genus is a bit tricky to grow, but I just got my first one and I hope it does well in my care.

How beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I hope to visit for my birthday in May to see the cherry blossoms bloom. I worked with an orchid boutique in Santa Fe, TX that reminds me so much of the behind the scenes in the orchid greenhouses. Such lovely blooms!

1:57 Masdevallias are native to South America. There are generally not many African orchids in cultivation and especially South Africa is too dry for most epiphytic orchids

Great video again ! I really want to take your masterclass, but it's not affordable to me, unfortunatedly I checked the scholarship website but it already expired. Is there anyway I can take the course ? I appreciate your generousity and creativity.

Hi Summer! Thanks for another splendid video. I am impressed with the mangroves in the greenhouses. I had no idea it's even possible to grow indoors.
I would love to share my anti-fog little trick with you. Anti-fog microfiber cloth for glasses work really good for glasses and lens. I shoot a lot for the botanical gardens and such cloth is a lifesaver.
    Love,
    Kira.

The planets can't travel any other orbits, than those, on which they've been placed. Those plants seem to have the same fate. If plants can communicate, then maybe they can 'hear.' I'd wish them a natural quiet environment, in which they could hear each other, just in case. Perhaps, they seem to 'thrive' and grow, in order to get some kind of 'attention' through flounting appearances. If they could only 'hear' the soothing music, which you have set, to this video, they might then request a soundtrack of birds, bugs, water and wind. 🍃

Does she know anything about orchids? Walks into a room filled with masdevallias and says they are from South Africa..
