This is how it is at club shows. The PA speakers are probably suspended overhead and camera person is in the front row. The sound is projecting above and past them.
Thank you so much for posting this. Mike issues aside, it’s a great performance by them. Live shows are for the feels. They don’t have to sound as pristine as in the studio. The new album is as good whatever they’ve made before. A natural progression although sunbather remains a landmark album.
Clarke really channeling some Waluigi vibes in this performance 😂it was a good show, but I was surprised by how pitchy he was for the softer songs. His screams were absolutely searing tho 🔥
For the last 4-5 years theyre using Peavey 6505s on both shiv & kerry. I think now theyre using some modeller but looks like definitely not kemper. I dont know if it Helix or Axe fx
They've been using quilter overdrive heads since the IG tour I think they use it as a pedal platform cause they had 5150 overdrive pedals on there board but recently they've been using helix boards for the 10th anniversary Tour
I think George needs some in-ear monitors, it's either that or he needs some singing lessons. Not easy to transition to a completely new style of vocals, so i don't mean this disrespectfully.
I was at the show and feel like they had some issues at the beginning getting the mix right. You could tell he couldn't hear himself as well as he wanted. it improved a lot over the course of the setlist.
Great concert! Thank you for recording. I must say that I do enjoy the new songs in combination with their earlier works and in the context of a live concert. The two fundamental problems with the last LP were that it dismissed all the richness of Deafheaven's original sound, and that it, frankly, lacked the compositional quality to be compelling as a work of art featuring only a single, unidimensional tone. But coupled with their other material, this is a great listening.

deafheaven has something special.
almost a perfecr playlist. all my fave Deafheaven songs in there
This man is probably singing his little heart out and y'all are just gonna sit there n not even tell him his mic isn't plugged in...
Yeah wtf is up with that?
I was at this show, it is just the recording. Sounded amazing live
Probably mostly the recording but it's also gonna be hard when there's constant switching between whisper-singing and screaming your head off lol
That’s how it’s supposed to be.

Legitimately the most fun I’ve ever had
Cowboy George is my favourite George
George’s transformation into Ian Curtis is nearly complete… *rubs hands menecingly* yesss… yes…. Muwahahaha
The implications there are....kinda gross?
I was there! What an incredible show.
I can smell the IPA through my monitor
1:12:16 I think I bruised my chest hitting it when George did on Dream House. Seeing this song live was scratching one more thing off the bucket list.
How beautiful...)))
That's some really great Peter Garrett dancing!
Good comparison! George does move like a certain tall slim Australian lead man.
Bit of Garrett, bit of Ian Kenny from Karnivool.
Bit of Samuel Herring

does anyone knows wich amps are they using for this tour? all i see is 3 small boxes on top of the cabinets for bass and both guitars...

Eu acho que ele estava bem doidão, só isso.

@@nihilexistence8574 Ele tava claramente sóbrio.
watching Clarke trying to make the same dancing when he screaming... kinda weird hahaha
idk, it's like he's trying to scream, but he is in other mood

Bring back old deafheaven please
I wonder bro felt like he needed to yell
Vocals so hard to hear it might as well be an instrumental show
I barely can hear the vocals. And mixing, production and all that stuff a bit bad, but anyway this show is great. Deafheaven are nice.
lol
nosescucha niuna wea
new songs are just terrible
No way
They are.
i hate change
How can anyone listen to a masterpiece like Mombasa and come to this conclusion
No way man. Infinite Granite is a beautiful album.
Wtf is this. Didn't this used to be a black metal band? That dude shouldn't be the singer either sorry
This new groovy chill vibe SUCKS. these guys are posers
Posers at shoegaze? Lmfao
This comment SUCKS, This guy is a poser.
Ima going to assume this was ironic 😂
