Felt a little sad that this is the last event for this year, only the 3rd heritage bus event I've been to but is awesome to be able to ride these old buses and see some fine countryside at the same time. Saw a few towns and villages today that I'd like to explore in the future. Quite a long day as I took the 1st 310 in Cheshunt (7:55) to meet the feeder at Hertford. Then near the end of the day, decided to use the bus replacement service for the Metropolitan Line to get to London's regular buses to go home, some very tight connections on the way (especially in Harrow) and just 4 minutes to wait from the 279 to the hourly 310 (2nd to last service at 19:45) at Waltham Cross!, over 3 hours later after leaving Chesham but was good fun. I thought it was just London that was busy on Sundays but the Chilterns are too, makes me wonder if the often huge reductions that is traditional for Sunday bus services are really fit for purpose anymore. Also Hertfordshire is pretty too. Admittedly watched closely to see if myself was in the video (I wasn't) but I wasn't in Chesham very much and I liked how you zoomed in on the fine details of the buses. Love the green colour on the buses and would like to see a unified bus network around the south east some day.

Hence why the old boys had massive arms and legs, those buses needed a good pull on the mechanisms 😂 great video

London Country were the largest operator of the B Type National with over 150 of them in use, including at Amersham, Hemel and Slough.
