The “normal person” reaction definitely put it all into perspective of how it actually feels to wear it
A normal person might also be in shock with the new technology + probably didn’t use it for long enough to realize how uncomfortable it is.

@@DevVRAR with the dual loop band, you are correct. But the solo knit band is a cool concept that was executed horribly. It’s not even like I’m an apple hater. My main pc is a iMac, my phone is iPhone, and I have an Apple iPad and watch. Its just I have always believed in being truthful to what I believe no matter what so if it’s uncomfortable than I’m not gonna defend it cuz it’s apple

Once they get this thing down to a more consumer price I'll buy one. For me, once they hit $1500-$1799 I will be buying this! Macs are in the same range and people have no issue dropping money on them so this will be no different!
Even at that price point its still too expensive considering a quest 3 at maximum 620.
Also the q3 has way more facility, they’d have to bring controllers into the mix and decent games, which is never going to happen

I have one. Very cool to see other people try it. I watched other people in the Apple Store get the demo, too. And thus far, I haven’t seen a single person who didn’t have a positive reaction to it. Most people’s reactions can be summed up in one word and three emojis: “Wow!😃😄😀”

Love how people struggle to control it at first. From the reviews I've seen that it's super intuitive, but if you try it without previous info, I guess it takes some time to getting use to.
Very cool video!! Thank you for making this. Personally, I prefer my Quest 3 which has VR games and BigScreen to watch movies with friends. The Vision Pro is super cool but I don't really know what I would use it for other than 3D movies which the Q3 can do, although the bump in resolution would be cool.
Excited to have more competition in the market though as this creates innovation benefitting consumers.
I love mine and I think it’s worth it. Definitely not for everyone but I’m excited for future updates.

Great video! You should do this again and show them more real life use cases like playing movies/shows from Apple TV+ (put them in the Mount Hood night environment and then turn it on in TV+... it puts a massive TV over the lake with realistic reflections!). Once you see that it's game changing, as are the Apple Immersive videos (the tightrope and Wild Life one are the best). I bet that would seriously impress them and convince the guy who said he'd rather watch things on his TV.
Also recommend showing them how you can bring up Safari, Messages, Apple Music and then connect it to a Mac as a virtual monitor, with this previously mentioned app windows side by side next to the virtual monitor. Show them how they can resize the virtual display and app windows to be whatever size they want. I've showed this off to a friends and family and these kind of real life usage demos is what has really sold them on it the most. Doing this shows ways it can be used for real life tasks in new ways that are better, faster, and more useful than can be done with other tech products.

I wanna see a reaction to someone who is use to VR like already own a meta headset or any vr headset is it as “magical” , as some of these people probably never even tried VR, so reacting to the idea of VR/AR rather than the apple vision of it. Basically is it as impressive and still a WOW factor to people who is use to VR/ AR

Spatial computing is the future. Just needs the software developers to realise that fact. As an architect (a real one not a computer nerd) Vision Pro and AI will be (are?) stunning tools to make me more productive and the end for ‘technical assistants’. However AI is at least a decade away from being able to do construction detailing. It is even further away from being able to design with ‘original thought’ as the algorithms are totally derivative and cannot differentiate between good and bad decisions. If enough people SHOUT on the ‘interweb’ that the Earth is flat AI will state that the Earth is flat which, of course, is total 80110ck5.
I think this was a good idea. Have her based on the content that I saw that they were going through. I wonder if an actual quick tutorial like they would do at an Apple Store with how they navigate the gestures before. They’re in the device would’ve changed their experience a little bit, also did they get the opportunity to resize windows? Have multiple windows open at the same time so they think about their day-to-day tasks what spatial computing all about? Do they know that there’s over 1 million iPhone and iPad apps already available in the App Store? And did they get to experience Apple immersive video? A couple of them hinted towards experiences like that would be really cool. Also it seemed like during the spatial photos and videos didn’t have the immersive button turned on they’re just viewing it in the window which is still cool but not nearly next level. Also, did they know they could start capturing those on an iPhone 15 Pro for spatial videos?so at least down the line when they do get an apple Vision Pro. They are ready to go with that type of content.

I'm gonna buy it, but only because the government is giving me 10.000 euro next month. Otherwise my max price would be 2500 euro for the base model. It's not released in NL yet, but should be out prior to summer.

We enjoy our VP, and opting for the 1TB, we ultimately bought the Case, extra Battery, and additional Light Mask+Seal. Obviously we have one, so we think it’s worth it…
Realistically it’s an iPad Pro with a next generation display and UI. So it is objectively definitely worth two thousand dollars, compared to iPad Pro’s sold with similar specifications. Now one has to consider is the additional technology that enhances the experience. Honestly, how much are twelve high resolution cameras, two optical precision lenses, the array of sensors plus LiDAR, and the Eye tracking tech really cost. I think it probably amounts to another thousand dollars at least. Then there is the matter of profit.
Apple is at least getting five hundred dollars from each unit, possibly more...

it DOES have potential but from a day-to-day application standpoint, it is not worth that amount of money...for now. It is more of a 1-person tech unlike a tablet, or a phone from Apple, you can share with the people sitting near you, EASILY. Over here in SG, it isn't for sale yet, but parallel importers are selling it for almost SGD9000. I can buy a lot of TV, projectors, tablets and iPhones where the tech is mature. That is just IMHO. Let's wait and see.

It would be awesome for college students who are majoring in engineering or architecture but the price point for vision pro is high but if they used M3 rather M2 than it will make sense to have the price point of 3,500 starting base. I would love to use it but since this is the starting point, I will wait and see what they will do for the future. Great video!
