Amazing tutorial...!! Thank you so much. This works perfectly. I just did a small change. Here is the process I followed: I downloaded the Win 10 and Win 11 ISO files as instructed. Instead of Fat 32 I formatted the USB drive in ExFat. Created the installer as instructed. Downloaded and copied the Bootcamp drivers via brigadier. I did not boot from USB as I wanted to do a upgrade in my existing Mac - Windows 10 partition. I ran the setup file from windows 10. (I ensured to press Option Key for all restarts and selected the Windows 10 and not the USB drive) The upgrade went smoothly and I did not require any driver update (the downloaded drivers were not required as this was a upgrade and not a fresh install) I managed to successfully install Windows 11 in my iMac 5K Late 2017 model and MacBook Pro 16”. All my existing softwares which ran on Windows 10 are running fine. I was even able to perform windows update on windows 11 in my iMac.

For those who already have Windows 10 installed on their Mac, here's what I did; 1. I downloaded both windows 10 and 11 iso's 2. I made a new folder in desktop and copied the files ( like in the video) replacing the install.wim file. 3. I formatted my USB drive using exfat, then copied the contents of the folder into the Usb flash drive. 4. I booted into windows 10 and inserted the flash drive, it was already recognized as a bootable drive. I opened, double clicked set up and started installation process. Note that I did not create iso at any point. Also I didn't do the driver part of brigadier. I just went on and double clicked set up and installation started. Mind you, at the first restart you have to hold the options key and select the windows partition and not the Usb to continue installation. Everything updated successfully in the end without issues. I hope this helps someone !

Hello. I have already followed your tutorial several times with success, and today I went to try to install it on a MacBook Air 2014 and I am getting this error: Windows could not set the offline locale information. If I change the install.esd file for the smaller install.swm and install2.swm, then the problem occurs. Any idea what it could be? Thanks.
Hello friend - thanks for a great video - I was able to follow the instructions and get Win 11 installed on my Macbook Air 7.2. I suggest you add a couple of more details in your blog: 1) During windows installation, we get 'Can't find network' window and there is no option to skip it. I found that we need to invoke Command prompt and kill that window to proceed. Please add this step. 2) Please add instructions on how to clean up Mac after Windows install is done - to delete unwanted installation files and uninstall softwares that were installed. This may sound trivial - however, we followed special installation steps. It is good to know how to uninstall them properly as well. Thank you again.
For 1) this is only applicable with Windows 11 home. The pro version lets you skip that part as far as I know. 2) The only thing to uninstall or remove is the downloaded ISO and downloaded files with Brigadier. The rest is all on your USB drive.
Danku wel voor het video maar bij mij kwam een probleem, ik heb alle stappen gevolgt en net voor dat de windows moest installeren kwam de W11 niet bij op te kunnen aanduiden en te installeren. Kunt u alstublieft op antwoorden?

Does this work with the production release today? I tried another method (simply swapping the install.wim from the Windows 11 ISO, renaming to install.esd, then using the rest of the Windows 10 iso) with no luck. It worked yesterday on a preview build, but not with today's release.

Hello. I have already followed your tutorial several times with success, and today I went to try to install it on a MacBook Air 2014 and I am getting this error: Windows could not set the offline locale information. Error code 0x80000001. It is important to say that if I try to install Windows 10 from the pendrive created by the official MIcrosoft tool, it works correctly. If I change the install.esd file for the smaller install.swm and install2.swm, then the problem occurs. Any idea what it could be? Thanks.
Did you ever find solution?
Quality vid, keep it up boss
This did not work for me. I got an error saying the parition could not be created in the Windows Installer.
Danku wel voor het video maar bij mij kwam een probleem, ik heb alle stappen gevolgt en net voor dat de windows moest installeren kwam de W11 niet bij op te kunnen aanduiden en te installeren. Kunt u alstublieft op antwoorden?
Everything works, until I install the Bootcamp drivers inside of Windows. It says it’s installed and it reboots, but still the trackpad, keyboard and wifi is not working, and everything is really slow. Anyone knows how to fix this? (Intel)
Are you sure the bootcamp drivers are for the correct model? If you have an option to connect with a cable or other wifi adapter, you could run Windows Update and install optional (driver) updates.
@@jensdbe Yes I double checked that. I also didn't specify a model, and let it identify for itself. I have that option, I'll try it later today. But aren't at least the touchpad and keyboard driver supposed to install with Bootcamp?

I would recommend the registry editing method instead: bypass RAM, TPM & Secureboot checks.
It takes 2 minutes and can be done during the normal Windows 11 installation :)

can you make tutorial for update to windows 11 from windows 10 (on bootcamp). so i'm not lose my previous data on windows 10 (not fresh install like this video)
You can run setup.exe from the USB drive (after going through all the steps) instead of booting from it.
