This is what I don't get about westerners.
They go to the nastiest places ever in India.
and then complain it's terrible. You're literally going to the beggar zone! They barely have money to eat food, they were born on the streets, their parents threw them away, lot of orphans, they are grown, no education, do you think they care about hygiene?!
It's like going to Pakistan or Taliban and getting caught as hostage by some terrorist organization. No sane Pakistani citizen would even go near them.

Indian cuisine is one of the best in the world but has sadly been unfortunately been misrepresented by the image of street food vendors. These vendors primarily cater to the less affluent locals who have built up immunity from daily consumption, not tourists.
As a lower-middle-class family, we strictly patronize established eateries, avoiding street food. It’s misguided for tourists to criticize Indian food based on their street food experiences, as it’s not intended for them. This misstep leads to an unjust critique of the rich and diverse Indian culinary landscape and plainly ruins our image.... Based on a few attention seeking tourists , you have money and choose not to eat at a restaurant but a poor mans vendor and expect hygiene food lmao what foolishness and entitlement.

5:09 You just ate that with your hands probably without washing, after roaming around that city touching God knows what. However, that vendor probably plated that food without touching it.
Most foreigners, just like how you did, eat streetfood with their hands in India, without doing the proper hygiene practice of washing hands which is required for eating with hands, and then blame the streetfood vendors, not even sparing a thought that they themselves are probably the ones to blame for getting the bug. Especially when they do not have the same gut microbiome as locals.
So next time you hear any non- Indian crib about how they got the runs after eating Indian street food, don't forget to ask them if they washed their hands before eating it, after touching multiple surfaces in such a crowded city.
While I agree, this sounds like you took it personal when the video is clearly done for information purposes and not to be rude towards any locals who are just trying to make money and do not have the means to always keep everything fresh.
My friend recently visited India and he also came home with a stomach bug. And since we met in a forum for Emetophobes (people afraid of vomit) it's very evident that he did anything he could to prevent it. I travelled India in my early 20s on a tight budget for over 4 months surviving off a lot of street food, and I only got ill once on some fish down south. For the taste it's worth the risk every time.
That’s interesting, why are the chain restaurants like subway worse?
@@c_mendes poorly trained/managed staff. Salad items washed in bad water and left out uncovered. Staff with bad hygiene. The list goes on…
"only" once
And these street food have people watching over them as they make it so they do need to start hygienic. While in many fast food places, the did making is behind the scenes and we can't see what's going on so they may actually be more unhygienic
Don't come again bro 😌🤞
u got upset that ur food is shit?
Ok bro are you feeling better or superior after dehumanising poor peoples.
Delhi Belly is just eating too much mix of spices and sweets and they think it's because of hygiene 😂
"India has been voted one of the best tasting countries in the world"
What does a country taste like? I've never eaten one
Right bro 💯
All the places in delhi and you chose these places wow, 😣 no wonder why india is getting lost their image first BBC DID, NOW 3RD Class RUclipsrs 😡💢😡
Bruh, even the locals of Delhi don't eat here!
As as foreigner if you want to enjoy Indian food, find Indian mate who can tell you where you can find tastiest and hygienic food.
Just because your immune system is weak, don't blame Indian food for Delhi belly.
I go to India every summer and even my parents don’t want me to have street food there because of how their Stomachs hurt when they had it growing up
Same 💀
If I visited the worst parts of your city and judged your entire country based on that, would it be fair? Probably not. Funny how you're quick to criticize India while conveniently forgetting who looted treasures and wealth from here to build their empire. 😉 Next time, try exploring the beauty, resilience, and diversity of India instead of focusing on isolated flaws. After all, a nation is much more than its scars. HH lol.
Imagine first robbed a country and call it poor
We in Balkans were robbed by Ottomans for centuries and still have not forsaken food hygiene. Excuses.
@@slavicemperor8279India's class, education, ethics, culture were all destroyed by invaders not just money

6:41 💀🤣
0:53 did bro really just show a clip of himself flexing on the airplane.. I mean sure, channel thumbnail is not one but TWO images of himself shirtless. Definitely some young man vanity
dude definitely sticks out like a coloniser being the very tall white british man in India. Got that very Gen Z hard nipples showing through the polyester super tight shirt thing going
Bro as an Indian I advice you that don't eat just any street food you see. There are some quite famous street food hotspots which have quality and also better hygiene than those you ate. Love from India❤
I being an Indian also get sick sometimes from eating this kind of street foods. Hats of to Joe for not getting sick 🫡. Maybe you can try street food in Mumbai next time, that is tastier and more hygienic than Delhi!
Mumbai food is NOT tastier dude
Have you guys got something other than vada pav everywhere lol?
And wtf is tastier lmao
Doesn’t mean he hasn’t been infected by parasites.
This is the most common problem: Amateur RUclipsrs try one city‘s street food and brand is it as the whole country’s. Guys grow up, and stop doing everything for subscribers and views.
I wasnt ready for that 1:51 😂
3:33 that gives me Delhi belly just from looking at it
kindly explore in south india
Try eating in Taj (if you can afford) , and you literally went to the worst places
As an indian I am ashamed of our country 😢
Well you can always start with hygienic and cleanliness rather than feeling pity for yourself or your fellow country men, i know it's hard but people will keep pointing out stuff they see.
You don't have to be ashamed because he will never show you the street foods of any other place the whole point is to set a narrative
@@wario5482 set what narrative? It is street food. It isn’t supposed to be hygienic in the first place.
Why? Because of bad street food?? Grow Up!
Look, The unhygienic places you look are actually for very POOR class people and that's why they are cheap and found everywhere. And you guys exaggerating those vendors over Internet. There are actually good FOOD Ventures in India varies in different price range makes it available for Lower-Middleclass, Upper-Middleclass, Moderate Rich people. Go TRY THEM OUT!
I had Kunming belly in China from street food. Spent 3 days in the hotel constantly on the toilet. Had to go and get antibiotics from the doctor. Never forget it.
He is just enjoying his views 😢
Disgusting I would be on fast all day in that country.
WHAT I SUGGEST IS INSTEAD OF STREET FOOD JUST GO TO A DHABA OR PLACE WHICH IS KIND WELL ESTABLISHED INSTEAD OF BUYING FROM VENDORS AS DHABAS AND FOOD PLACES HAVE SAME OR A BIT BETTER TASTE BUT BETTER HYGIENE THAN THE VENDORS
The whole point is to do street food; what don't you get?!
Bro, you have just gone to the local of Delhi, here the people of Delhi do not go by themselves lol 😂
Woah same name
atleast u can survive on streets in india try same in america u will never know in newyork streets that which drugeed person uses knife at u
You got the views and projected a complete wrong INDIA.
True
its good to see someone is not alwayas complainting about india, I know hygine is quite a big challenge for these street food owner in india but thanks here you gave my a billion dollar startup idea to me , wish we could do it together.
Just go to a restaurant ffs
As a Indian bro should actually go to a better place like mumbai or banglore....Bro went to place where i wouldn't even go
