The Mountains of the Wyoming Range in western Wyoming is a wilderness all of it own and has been drawing me to it for years. This past summer along with a friend we tried spending some time on horseback, riding into the Wyoming Range. After having to turn around last year because of a massive landslide in Willow creek on the Wyoming Rec Trail we decided to start behind the landslide and began at Horsecreek Trail Head. With horses and packed horses saddled and ready to go we set out to explore as much of the area as we had time for.

Really nice. Was this 2020? Looks like you guys caught some nice smoke free days.
Late Aug 2020. The jet stream changed and Wyoming was clear of smoke. Hope for a better year in 2021 for fires

Wonderful do you carry a side arm and long rifle type items?
we do carry a 10mm pistol sometimes when you have a lot of animals they generally make enough noice to scare off most animals
Can you help me locate this trailhead? As I can’t find it. I thought it was in the vicinity of Willow Creek. I also went to Camp Creek. Thanks.
I found it
