Aloha, Mitchelle, we live on the East side of Oahu. Our cardinals have 2 fledglings. I have a video I can send you if you would like. I noticed the mom leaving them to fend for themselves at the bird feeder. We have little finches who scatter the sunflower seeds and don't seem to eat them. It's very annoying. The cardinals will eat at the feeder 2 weeks, and the finches knock the seeds all out in a couple of hours. Very annoying. Thank you for the video. Louisa

I looked for videos on these guys since there is a baby in my backyard. So adorable but he looked so *tiny I thought he fell frm nest.but dads on the fence watching him.baby can't seem to fly. I just hope he's ok (I'm in upstate NY

If he's not fuzzy anymore then dad is watching and he is learning to fly and forage on his own❤️ if dad is close he is probably fine😍 mom and dad follow them for a while..

I found a baby dose not have tail feathers yet what do I do

@@DebbieConnell-ub7vo is it still fuzzy? If it’s still fuzzy try to put it back in the nest. If you can’t find the nest take it to your local wildlife rehab center. Call them and they will give you instructions.
