Mockingbird babies just after they hatched until they left the nest

  • I noticed that the nest had eggs in it around the end of June and then a day or two later the little babies had hatched out. I filmed them over time as they got bigger and then left the nest. I also filmed them after they left the nest in my backyard.

    Mom and dad feed kids you can see em both usually when it starts raining otherwise you see one at a time and bird arent like humans it takes a male and a female to have a baby

      Yes, they were always both around.

      Yes the mom and dad both came back to my porch! I was so shocked as I know nothing about birds. (Found this video because I had baby mocking birds on my porch as well). The mom and dad would come by one by one, sometimes at the same time but rarely.

      Yes, I believe they are back this year raising their own babies as I have seen two sets of babies in our yard.

      @@barefeeting can’t wait to see! I had mockingbird babies on my porch 1 month ago. Their nest fell with the wind and I was scared their mom would come back! But she did. I had the chance to watch them fly off the porch. I was worried I’d never see them again since I watched them grow up! But they still come back also :) I can’t wait to see your new birds!
