This is phenomenal! I had no idea your Dad wrote the “Left Behind” series. Reading that is what opened my mind and eyes to prophesy and the rapture. But now…your Dad is correct, “The Chosen” series brings the times & the people “to life” in our minds! May God bless you both! And…am now on my TWENTY~FIFTH “Binge Watch” of both seasons. ❤️✝️🙏
The Left Behind series, even though I love the author, is a great example of how the modern world has sorely misunderstood scripture and the context therein.
So full of God’s love…….I wish he were my friend too. 😢😢. I don’t have anyone in my orbit that I can just sit with for hours talking about our Lord and Savior. Dallas is blessed to have him as his earthly father, and I suspect his mom is just as much a blessing. Thank you both for sharing your love of God in both books and films.

I recently read Jerry's book Riven, which he had said was his favorite book to write. It was a heartbreaking and beautiful story.

How perfectly AWESOME to see you and your dad together 💘 To THIS day I listen to the Audio series of Left Behind. I surely wish I could find the ENTIRE audio set. When I bought the 1st 4 books I worked in a clinic of 50 people and EVERY last one read ALL 12 books and some came to Salvation. I 💜💜💜💖💖💖 You Both You are Truly GIFTS to the Kingdom. I devour The Chosen too.🥰
The Left Behind audio series is TOTALLY AWESOME! I have binged listened to it several times over and cried each time. I even listened to the kids version and had the same reaction 😁

What a great father son conversation. Amazing that the same scene Nicodemus and Jesus impacts so much. A lot of scenes with Nicco I love and they wreck me every time.What a fantastic casting choice too. Brings that character to life!

All I can say is Wow. More and more I’m seeing how God uses families and also transfer mantles within. Wow. It was just last night that I had been binge watching the Chosen and saying to myself, that each episode has something that seems to speak individuality to people. The scene where Simon needed a miracle to get out of debt and all the other entanglements he was in resonated with me. I know that God has a hand on this series. I have no issues with being creative, but I’m trusting that your team is seeking God for His input to fill in those gaps the Bible has not filled. When we allow Him to lead then you’ll bear even more fruit. May God continue to bless your Ministry Dallas Jenkins and team. If you all haven’t seen Troy Black’s video titled God Told Me This About The Chosen, you should. That’s how I knew about your film. God’s got His hands on this you all.

I have read the left behind series through twice and am going through it again. LOVE it. When I read through the first time, I started keeping my bible nearby because I kept going to Revelation to check out something that happened in one of the books to see it in the bible for myself.

Thanks so much for this. When I first looked at y'all visually, I didn't see many similarities... and then your eyes became as if I was seeing double. The love both of you have for each other is astounding. Captivating actually. I then heard you both speak and it was almost as if I was hearing the same person. I then listened with my eyes closed and was turned to tears at the raw emotion both of you have for each other and our Lord. The impacts both of you are making impacts and touches so many people's lives, and yes all the way from 1995. My grandfather read every book, multiple times, there was of "The Left Behind" series before his death in 2007. My mother has the whole collection and I've tried to read them, but become so emotional I couldn't. When I was in junior high, I was in an intense group of fellow church members on the study of Revolations. That was in the 80's, and the impacts of that made me a different person, my perception changed. I, until that study, assumed that every leader in our church had to be a born again Christian. We watched a short movie afterwards, and when the end of time happened, the pastor,whom had lead a large church and lead hundreds to the Lord, was left behind. I'm currently reading the "Left Behind" series. I'm on book 2 right now!! I have tried to read so many different book series because I love reading but i never find books I actually enjoy. These books so far have been the best books I read in my life. I literally can't put them down. Also, the chosen is my favorite TV show!!! You guys are amazing!!

I LOVE Jerry Jenkins!! He is my favorite writer. I've read the left behind 16 books about 8 times. I also LOVE his trilogy amazing Soon, Silenced, Shadowed. Amazing writer indeed, and now his son is an AMAZING director, producer, you name it!!! God bless
I started watching the Chosen last year and immediately fell in love with it. Dallas has done such a great job with show. I have found that through the show I have spent more quality time in the Scriptures and researching the history of what was happening in and around the Holy Land. And then I discovered that Dallas’s father was a writer! I am reading the Left Behind series for the first time.I started the series about 5 weeks ago and am 1/2 way through Desecration. It is so incredible! I am doing a Bible study of Revelations concurrently with the books which has given me a greater understanding of the end times. And my small group at church has been studying 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. Our study Sunday was on 2 Thessalonians 2:9 which was quoted in The Mark. I thank my Heavenly Father for giving these two men the gifts that they use so well.

Wow, what a gift, this interview is, to have God gifting the Body of Christ with two selfless men, ho draw us closer to God. I remember binge-reading the 16 book of the serie Left Behind (400 pages +) several times, watching and owning all the books. And now, almost 20 years later, binge-watching the Chosen, created by Dallas Jenkins. Eerie...😀😀. Thank you Father God for gifting us with the Jenkins family!!

There are many of us who get teary when Jesus and his crew are discussed. It should be normal but unfortunately it’s not. Hopefully after seeing more of the Chosen when we get to understand that we too are the Chosen that we will accept that HE loved US and died for us and we will not be Left Behind if we too accept Him as our Lord and Saviour. Seeing Dallas, like his dad, bring forth the gospel to people everywhere through his own gift - directing/writing - I'm grateful to witness it. I was 15 years old when the first Left Behind series book came out and it was a huge part of my life growing up!
When I found out that Dallas was your son, it all made sense! From the first time I heard his voice and from the first episode of the show I felt an instant connection. Like I had somehow been physically in his presence before. Turns out I had merely held and cherished the writings of one who shared his blood.
It seems silly to feel like I have such a connection to you two. It feels like we have met before and that you have been a part of my life. But, I know that it is only that you have reached into my life with your work.
I can't tell you what an impact you've had. Not that I would be the only one to say that. Thank you for all that you do! Don't ever stop.

I remember in the 90's Left Behind was all over the Christian book stores - it was everywhere & I wouldn't touch it. Fast forward 27 yrs to summer 2021 KHCB radio started playing the audio version, I was instantly hooked. Better late than never.

Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! As a writer, I've LONG appreciate Jerry Jenkins's choice for the VERY first line in the first Left Behind novel. The first line in a book is one of the most important. It's the hook that pulls you in. And at the very beginning of Left Behind, we read: "Rayford Steele's mind was on a woman he had never touched." And just like that, our expectation of the stereotypical idea of a Christian Novel is shattered. ("What? Are we actually talking about thinking about sex?!")

I just started reading Mr. Jenkins’s new set of books: Underground Zealots. I’m reading Book one, Soon: the beginning of the end. It’s very good and like the End Times series, it draws you right into the story.

I always thought Tim Lahaye was the author of the Left Behind books.
You learn something new everyday.
The books were co-written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. LaHaye was the scholar and subject matter expert, and Jenkins was the creative mind who brought the material to life.
You were made for such a time. You were personally hand picked. Don't give up! Do NOT give up! We have already won so keep holding on and DON'T GIVE UP! The Devil is working on you because YOU are not his property! Don't listen to the Devil's lies. None of us deserve what we have been given. We all fall short. Not one is good, not even one.
