You have to simplify buy already cut garlic, you don't need a whole cheese package for a couple of days and get instant coffee, will save a lot of time and claan up
I get that. Those are my Mountain House Meals days. But, sometimes it's just nice when I have ample time to enjoy the process and the great outdoors is my kitchen. Also, I'm definitely not a coffee snob but I just say no to instant coffee.

Wow beautiful spot! Thanks for sharing. Your meals look awesome. We sort of half-prep our food to make camp cooking go a bit faster - ex. marinade meat, pre-chop some veg, wrap stuff in foil so it’s all ready to pop on the fire, etc. 😋

Great video! Do you have directions from San Fran?
Use whatever mapping app and plug in Elk Mountain Rd in Upper Lake CA. After that you need a good offline off road map like GAIA GPS or onX Offroad.
I like your content. You listed coordinates for 2 campsites and the rock/view where you didn’t camp. The GPS for the view was the same as first campsite. Just curious where that rock and view are. Do you have a different grid for that?

You can tell that the USFS has got problems in this National forests when the burned and dead trees have NOT been removed properly. Dead and burned trees are not only dangerous hazards, that City folk don’t recognize, but these trees attract beetles that will destroy healthy trees. Yes, this is true! Instead of having the forest logged, which is now impossible in California because the “Tree Huggers” have managed to destroy that industry, the Mendocino Forest Manager(USFS) has not even made an effort to do even a minor cleanup. The only action they have taken is to put up warning signs. How lovely.
Video is very crisp! Is that a solar panel on the hood? How is it doing?
Yes, 80w on the hood for trickle charging the AGM vehicle battery. 2x100w on the rooftop tent for a Bluetti AC200MAX. The hood one is great, will pretty much never try to start a dead battery unless there's just no sun at all for many days straight. I'll most likely talk about all that stuff in the gear video coming up soon.

As long as there's sun I don't sweat about running the camp lighting for hours. Why are you not boozing while cooking? Pasta and wine is an obvious choice. Breakfast mimosas. Or if you decide to skip breakfast, then coffee ☕️ and Cinnamon Baileys with vanilla vodka is a great way to start your morning 🌄. After dinner bourbon keeps the bears away (or at least you don't mind as much when they start gnying on you).
I don't drink. No one wants to see me turn red like a cooked 🦞 and then I just wanna lay down and sleep.
