I'm lucky enough to have been the son in law of Don Jackson of Don Jackson Porsche in Peoria, AZ. Last man I've ever seen assemble an engine with a speed wrench. Love the content Dennis, keep up the good work chief.
Beautiful car. The part that was most relatable to me is when you used your sleeve to wipe the edge of the hood while talking and not missing a beat. That’s my kind of car-guy.😊
You're a brave man Dennis, driving on 43 year old tires. Nowadays people flip out if the tires are even 3 years old. Fantastic car !!! Give Spike Feresten a call, I'm sure he & his people would be interested.
My heart says BUY IT. My brain says no, we don’t have a proper home to preserve it. My 1964 Amphicar has permanent dibs on that spot. Great find, Dennis!
Not one comment of the poster in front of him. My dad paid me 100.00 to memorize that poem back in 1985. One of the greatest written works known to man in my opinion. Great for dads to pass on to kids.
Pretty cool Porsche Dennis! Reminds me of back in 76 or 77 I was in my 70 442 convertible with the 455 engine and I raced a Guy who had a red Porsche 911 about the same year as this one! I won the race! The Guy who owned the Porsche wrecked it twice that I know of both times seriously damaging the drivers quarter panel! Then the car disappeared a few years later!
Dennis. I think you'll find a buyer from Europe with this little gem! I restored one of these back in the '70's . I think the paint was the only thing keeping it together. God! It was a rusty old bucket! This is a superb example. Take care and stay safe.
Richards tire marks are gone lol. Driving down my old street. Dennis, I hope the orange shirt with the #3 on it wasn't premeditated symbolism on your part lol! If you don't know what im talking about, just Google the color orange and the #3 together and im sure you will find something. Back in the day that winding road going towards your house Mcmillian was a single car wooden bridge and it took 20 mins to get down McCreary because of all the potholes in a cornfield. I think you might have lived here back then too. Still waiting on a invite to see your personal collection lol!🤞😁
I have a very similar car story with a one owner 89 BMW M3, US army stationed in Germany. European delivery picked up from the factory and then brought back to the states after about half a year of driving in Europe
Thanks Dennis. This car brought back memories of my Pop. We lived in Pittsburgh and Boston. His was white and bought in CA after he got out of the service. No sunroof, but he had a kill switch under the seat. It was attempted to be stolen 4 time in Boston. We lived up on a bluff. And would always find the car at the bottom of the bluff. He did his internship at Tufts University. And would pick me up at school and I'd shift on the way home. We went to many races in that car. Sadly when we moved to WI the rust beat it to death. I've had a 944, 911 and 930 Turbo. I guess Porsche is in my blood. The sound of that motor brought back memories, thanks again. I'm going to guess, $125,000. I might be low, haven't been buying Porsches lately.
@fender Some are dreamers, some know the reality of the Porsche market. This is a ordinary 911, bit of a survivor but base model, not worth a lot. BAT is the right venue for it. Dennis should chill on the superlatives. Lets get some better tires on it & #thiccbeauty Kelsey could go drive it to her fave taco place in Texas. Thats a cool episode idea.
Nice to see it hasn’t got those ugly bumper over-riders on it. What ever you do keep it in the dry, no rust protection pre 76. Very nice example for those with deep pockets. 🇬🇧 Re paint, here in the U.K. Porsche dealers all have paint thickness testers, soon reveal if you’re right.
Dennis I understand folks buying cars for collecting, at some point at the end of the day aren’t theses cars made to be driven because there are drivers car ! Don’t get me wrong you’re certainly a renaissance man where Porsches Panteras jeeps exotics the euro trash cars lol

I drove a 1967 Porsche 911 from NE Ohio to Las Vegas when I was younger. It was a very fun and surprisingly comfortable journey.
Always love seeing the cars you come up with Dennis.
Beautiful car. The part that was most relatable to me is when you used your sleeve to wipe the edge of the hood while talking and not missing a beat. That’s my kind of car-guy.😊
I do the sane thing all the time! Lol
Another great find........recommissioned by possibile the finest car historian/dealer /hunter so far.........loving this format !
Ha, I complained in the intro previous video I didn’t get to see enough of the Porsche. Then this is first in feed this morning...serendipitous
Great find, please keep sharing all these details, so incredibly fascinating, Mr Collins! Love this car, the color and the originality!
Only Trolls would thumb this down! Thanks for all you do to preserve and restore all the vehicles you show us.
I got one of these (identical to this) when I graduated from college. Great car!
This is so cool Dennis. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic car !!! Give Spike Feresten a call, I'm sure he & his people would be interested.
Side marker lights were required by law on all 1968 and newer cars sold in the United States.
Dennis once again awesome! your cars knock my socks off bud wow.
This is an educational documentary. Excellent, this is why I subscribed.
Great Porsche in a beautiful color... and Perfect to match the sweater to the car...
Thanks Dennis for the Porsche lesson. And what a beautiful estate you have. Randy Hanlon.
My heart says BUY IT. My brain says no, we don’t have a proper home to preserve it. My 1964 Amphicar has permanent dibs on that spot. Great find, Dennis!
Amphicar, cool! I'm happy to say I'm one of a lucky few that has been on the water in one.
OMG simply stunning, what a dream car and awesome find
That Sir is fabulous. What a superb find.
A good HS friend of mine had the same color, model and year. His color seemed just a little darker Orange 🍊, Thxs for Sharing DC Sweet Find !!!
If this is the rough one from the field u have done outstanding restoration

Great item, did you wear that top to match the car ?
What a beauty.
Wouldn't put it up for sale, something to hang on to. Seems like a rare car for what it is.
Awsome video 😮👍
Kudos for the matching shirt. 😎
Beautiful car, great job on the video too.
What a amazing find! I would definitely keep it for my private collection given the chance 🤷🏼♂️
Such an amazing car!!!
The carburetors, looked kind of trick, are they stock?
Drool, Drool...... and, as usual, gotta laugh at the thumbs down.

Wow, what a beautiful car
Sounds Crisp
What a lovely car, somebody will have a lovely example when it's sold.
Christopher Clarke if you like 911 maybe you will like ours ! Good story ! 😎😎 ruclips.net/video/Q7H6T2FWPZA/видео.html

Nice car, why didn’t you put the original radio back in, fix the clock and replace the shifter? Guessing you are asking a BIG premium for it
Absolutely Gorgeous
...grand old girl...
Wow Just wow.
Had a customer yesterday with a blowout on 2005 dated tyres and I was shocked....1977!? Damn! 😃

"OUTSTANDING"....
Nice, nice, car, where do you find all these low mileage, beautifully kept cars?
Thanks Denis keep finding these cars!
Dat color!
he's got a matching sweater 👀
Art and Nice
You are lucky. Amazing car
The funny thing is on the start up I had a faint smell of fuel.
Great video I have one of these what is the name of history report you used?
bravo Dennis, from France, nice exemplar
how do you retract the sunroof?
Nice, nice, nice
Dennis what’s the history of the Healey behind with the gold accents? Would love to hear. Interesting the last (UK) official owner had it since ‘80
I am sick of the oil leaks, how much did it ( or should ) cost to get all new gaskets?
No spare fan belt?
Phenomenal!!
Denise your orange mini skirt matches your car
What is the large white speaker?
What’s the cylinder leakage
Amazing car. What if u blew a front tire? 40 year old tires???
The Nevada weather explains the great condition of the body.
Amazing that it was a desert car. Not enough service records, tool kit is very incomplete. Sounds like mileage is TMU base model 911.
@fender Some are dreamers, some know the reality of the Porsche market. This is a ordinary 911, bit of a survivor but base model, not worth a lot. BAT is the right venue for it. I was told when closing the hood to close it from the edges and not by the badge to avoid bending it.
Amazing car and video! 🙌
Technical suggestion? The audio is weirdly panned to the left. Feels weird listening in my headphones.
This is the most beautiful 911 I've ever seen
Love it 👍🏼
Hey Dennis what is the price of car in this condition in USA, I am asking specific for this Porsche 911 from 68
Hands down the coolest owners are the original owners 🤘
great car wow !!!
Do you find these cars or do you have a team of people looking for these rare cars.
A little bit of both
@@DennisCollinsCarWorld i wish i worked for you!! I would bust my but because i think you are the most professional yet cool and fun man to work for
IF HE DOESNT ALREADY HAVE ONE, ILL BET JERRY SEINFELD WOULD BE INTERESTED.
Those side marker lights were USA only--not Euro.
Those factory radios were horrible i would have changed the radio out too, as long as the dash isnt cut no real harm done
Those tires are three years older than I am.
No US cars had the side marker lights
I had the same car in maroon and no sunroof
decent pool .. should give the fans a house tour some time
It’s so VW like in its drive sounds handling noises. Love the color . What’s the ask . Is this one of those if you have to ask .......
Keep that shirt on your gonna start speaking limee and drinking tea and eating krunpetts !! Nice video brother!!

Linda" Calamity" Lewis ?
Bumblebee4788 . FYI Calamity was another name for S.T.D ‘s in the old west.
HolyCrap!!!
Was it just coincidence that you happen to be wearing an orange shirt for this clip? 😅😂🤣
Beautiful car with great history. I'm just little bit confused about the way you are using the steering wheel.
Regards Dennis
