      @@foodgeek320 buy a $12 eye of round or a similar cut of beef, have the store cut into piieces generally around 1/4th inch thick, and you can make really good jerkey in your oven using whatever spices you want for the marinade. takes about a full day in my oven and you cant foget to leave a crack open in the oven. marinating 24hrs is "best" but 8 hrs works just fine for me (my prefered, i like to be able to taste the beef too) essencially you get $50-60 worth of jerkey for $12

    • @Omnishredder
      @Omnishredder 3 года назад +3

      Get yourself a dehydrator... Beef jerky would cost you at most $16 for about 10 times as much... Eventually would work out as the greatest investment (and just think if ostrich is that expensive... You could essentially profit from a kilo of ostrich, yes it'll look expensive to buy a kilo, but you could give your friends an extra piece for the same price and profit because ostrich meat is cheaper than ostrich biltong, fuck it also do crocodile as no doubt a company that sells ostrich also sells crocodile meaning packaging costs are halved so you profit more)

      Rhett*. And sadly, all they care about is making money, alienating their low income fans, and appearing woke to people to get their money. Nothing wrong with genuinely caring about a cause, but the way they do it is so disingenuous. They only ever donate to a cause during the month designated to that particular cause and they only donate to causes that they know are the current fad for people who supposedly care. They could easily donate more and more often, and to other causes, but they don't. I miss the old GMM.

    Seaweed: Dried seaweed or kelp is a common Japanese food, they're eaten much as we eat potato chips and come in various flavors. It is also often eaten with fish and rice and adds umami (a savory-sweet middling flavor profile). On its own, especially when plain, they don't taste of much and most western people don't like it.

    Try the sauerkraut in a different way: You put the sauerkraut in a sieve, and rinse to get rid of the saur liquid. Boil the sauerkraut together with potatoes. (about the same amount of sauerkraut, as the amount of potatoes) Pore off the water, add a little milk and mash. For extra flavour, you can mix in fried bacon bits. Put it on a plate and make a hole in the middle to pour some gravy. This is how the dutch eat sauerkraut. Mostly a smoked sausage (rookworst) is eaten with it. I hope so much you do like the sauerkraut this way. Best regards.

    I'm a spicy food eater (comes with being New Mexican, we put chile in and on everything) the cheetos and the doritos still have their flavors, but if you're not really huge on spicy food, the heat overrides the tastebuds. It takes some time to build up a tolerance. Since you don't like spicy food, I would say your rating scores fit perfectly for your pallet. There's no since torturing yourself to get to taste the rest of the flavors unless you suddenly got a liking for spicy foods. The takis are just extra with the lime.
