My theory of Green Run is that it is a "theme park" but instead of rollercoasters, it is a town that rollplays the early 60s or sometime in the 50s. The bus only goes in a loop because that is the extent of the park. Also, this park was created as the perfect cover for the experiements being done in the "power station" area. If you look at the cars, they are more "European", so this may have been a place somewhere in Europe (and using European cars from that area and that era would've been more plentiful and easy to acquire), the map just shows it in the U.S....because the devs maybe abandoned the lore. Also, the 4 characters could have been paid actors at such park hired from America to play their respective roles at different areas on the map. This is a wild theory I know, but it is mine. It surprises me the level of detail of the forearm and weapons models in the WAW/BO games. Why Treyarch would make so detailed work if they would cut it anyway with the default fov.
Damn i was hoping you would cover the Great Leap Forward mentioned in Kino Der Toten because that was the only radio foreshadowing the future dlc for bo2 and this was only on the Wii
On the misty audio clip, I've never heard it before this but immediately heard it as Misty's VA, and I'm pretty sure its supposed to be her. We see in the die rise intro that they're stuck in a time loop, I'd be willing to say it's something to do with that
Idk if it’s ever been thought about or if I’m just stupid but could it be possible that the different members of the Victis crew are from different time periods? Not too insane in time difference but just enough to be plausible. They’re being teleported through space and time so what’s to say that they were plucked out of their different periods to be thrown together as a make shift team, choosing the best candidates type thing
It sounds silly. But the music that plays when you craft Excaliburn or put the flame on the dragon statue on the Citadelle des Morts map reminds me of the music that plays when you complete an Easter egg step on the Buried map.
One thing to note the stupid kronirium who cares how it is spelled was not created until after Die Rise released. This is not accurate to what Jimmy wanted in the storyline. Die Rise takes place sometime after Tranzit but we do see in the intro for Die Rise that Richtofen keeps reviving them thus making a loop. It could very well be that he brought them further back in the past. As real zombie fans we have to respect the original directors ideas. After origins the kronurium is accurate and not in anyway the same as Jimmy's story. One way to verify this is by looking at Tranzit which takes place in 2035. How would it take them 10 years it would be 2045 for Die Rise it doesn't make any sense. This us where the kronurium is not accurate at all. Jimmy's story is so op I would think that he did it on purpose. Their was even a day version of Tranzit before the events of Moon so what is going on? It only took them a few months to find Die Rise after Tranzit because Richtofen was talking to Stulingher not 10 years if Tranzit takes place 10 years after Moon which was dated before any other addition from other directors.
There's a theory that says Buried takes place during Pangea, and it also takes place at the same time as moon, I learned about this theory in a KrazyRabb1t Zombies Iceberg video The theory talks about how the zombies story is a paradox, remove everything you know about zombies from Mob of the Dead-> now, just think about Nacht-Buried, in Moon you launch the rockets to earth to destroy it which starts the Victis story, at the end of the Victis story, Maxis needs to launch the rockets in order to access to the gateway to Agartha, meaning in order for him to do so he needs the events of moon to take place at the same time as Buried, after you complete the buried easter egg, after about 60 seconds the screen shakes heavily, in Moon after you complete the easter egg it takes about 60 seconds for the rockets to reach Earth, so the reason everything is a cycle is because everything happens at all once simultaneously, in order for one event to happen another event it required, but the required event is dependent on the first event happening before the required event can happen, both require each other to occur Jimmy Zelinski was definitely on crack
Hey thanks for explaining this out, I just saw this theory the other day, and paired with the answer I received here it begins to make a lot of sense as to what we are supposed to interpret from the locations. I’m glad my question is raising a bunch of heads to this dilemma
I always assumed transit was in the 60s-80s somewhere considering that black ops 1 zombies was supposed to be in that period, i dont think whoever made the timeline later on was paying attention to that lol
So that’s kind of what my whole comment was about actually! If Jimmy Z’s plan was for Green Run to occur shortly after Moon, then why would the next map he direct specifically have the SDC uniform on Zombies? I think it’s got a lot to do with a paradox theory that has been brought up lately. Where time from Moon-Buried is cyclical, and that Maxis is destroying the earth and resetting back to Green Run/Nuketown again. This is only really supported by mere speculation and some details by Jimmy Z, namely that the Moon intro plays during the song that ends on Maxis’ side or that the real places that inspired the Buried hedge maze and Moon Biodome are extremely close together (like within 3 miles iirc). Jimmy Z later commented on how there might have been intent behind that decision but is choosing to be deliberately cryptic about it.
I may be 16 hours late but great video, I’ve learned a lot about lore and general knowledge surrounding the cod franchise from your videos and can’t wait for the next video
In bo2 if you don't have buried you can still find the raygun mk2 in the coding and if you try to get it through the code it shows your hands holding nothing but then it you use mod menus it works and I don't get why or if it's just a bug
I used to mess with the console in cod 4-7 on pc. I used the bind command to set commands to keys. For example I used the command 'timescale x' (x=any number >0.1) and had the U key bound to slow time down, the I key to set it back to normal, and the O key to speed it up. I think I needed to do that for bo1 because the commands had to be bound in the config file or something, I don't remember how it worked. I never found a way to freeze the game which would be great for checking out fast moving models. I also remember there were certain commands to get things like explosive bullets from the mw2 chopper, cg_laserforceon set to 1 would put a laser on your gun, g_speed to change player speed (too fast and you fly into the sky when you touch a slope), g_gravity I think to lower or eliminate gravity. I just remembered one of the first videos on my channel is messing with the mw2 console. Not sure if you already knew these or the mod menu makes them easily accessible as I haven't touched anything console related in a minute and I remember bo1 was a pain because you had to edit the config file and start the game and hope everything worked. I did notice that some commands were removed between mw2 and black ops 1, which sucked because it was fun using cod4 cheat effects in waw.
Hi there! New sub, happy holidays and new years btw! I gotta ask, i recently discovered a neat trick on Bo3, where you can get Jugg twice increasing the hit counts from 4 to 6. It relies on RNG first hand and being quick, but after that it's pretty straight forward. You get the Wunderfizz machine on gen 4, you try to get Juggernog off it but don't take it, then immediately go buy the perk from the original machine first not the fizz machine, then go back to the Wunderfizz machine and take Juggernog before it goes away. This works on Bo3 Origins Im unsure if it's possible on other Maps too within bo3. Try it, i have a vid on it showing how 👍

8:31 to that one comment it wouldn’t be Misty because the moon ee was when they where adults because before the nukes hit the earth we could hear Marltion in the bunker in nuke town and to put more onto how wrong that is there is even quotes that misty even killed her father when the word went scorched earth so it would have been a member of the flesh and they didn’t even know about maxis or rictofin and because its the same VC doesn’t mean anything
Happy New Year!! (Well... it's 6 hours left until 2025, as of me typing this...) But I wanted to ask: is it possible to noclip in COD: MW Remastered, in the missions *"Shock and Awe"* and *"Aftermath",* to see the nuke up close?
The wall weapons in BO2 always confused me regarding the time period were in. If we're in the future why don't we have the SMR in place of the M14 or the S12 for the Olympia for example?
You should explore the dlc 5 chronicles and pre alpha origins that got leaked for bo2. Crazy how pre alpha origins looked way different than the one we got.
Oh wow hey, thanks for the answer (and the user name is pronounced like “Aegis”). I asked the same thing on your Die Rise video, and it’s safe to ignore that one. And this is gonna be a LONG comment so if you decide to cover this in a future comment reading, I’d suggest to summarize instead. I’ve learned a little more and would like to discuss more about that topic. So first, I dislike the “Kronorium” tool because it redefines the story of WaW up to BO2 in a way that better fits the new story direction that the new design lead (Director?) Jason Blundell took. None of the maps really hinted at the Apothicons or the Keepers, so it’s best to view the Kronorium as a retcon tool to supplement the BO3 & 4 story continuity. It needs to be understood that the Kronorium revises the intent of the maps into our new perspective, see why BO4 has “Chaos” maps that had* nothing to do with our “Aether” story. It just seems like Blundell didn’t want to talk about the previous story all that much. *in Vanguard and in BO6 they are retconned to be part of the same story With that out of the way, let’s look at what we see in BO2 Tranzit, Die Rise, Nuketown, and Buried. These were directed by Jimmy Zielinski, unlike Mob and Origins. I like your answer given that these 115 payload rockets struck the Earth causing time dilations and “Rifts”, that answers me pretty well. But a video a I came across recently was KrazyRabb1t’s BO1 iceberg. The last item on the Iceberg, for your viewing pleasure, is the theory that Moon and Buried are connected in a paradoxical loop, one of the key details of this being the NavCards. NavCards only work if you start with the one on Buried, meaning that Buried must be played first, then Tranzit, then Die Rise, then Buried again to link them and complete the Super Easter egg. Nuketown occurs at the same time as Moon, which is before Tranzit. It’s a very niche theory with little to support it, but that would explain why Die Rise’s cutscene suggests there is a loop or how the events of the shattered earth can help either Maxis or Richthofen. It is unknown at the time which ending was intended to be canon, as we never got another map by Jimmy Z. Entering the realm of Speculation now. Seemingly the Richthofen ending would be canon, as Maxis destroys “the earth and its inhabitants”. Stuhlinger also needs to convince the other 3 of Richtofen’s plan, which is much harder to do considering Maxis can speak to all 4. And we see this 3v1 motif in MotD too, where Weasel breaking the cycle is the canon ending. Anyway thanks for answering my original question. I’ve grown VERY attached to the possibilities that could have grown out of the shattered Earth maps, that just never came to be. There’s so much about BO2 that I wish got realized, but ambition caught them underprepared and unready. Looking forward to the Buried video!
I dont think hitboxes and textures work like that. My guess would be, when testing and developing the game, you need to fix things like models glitching or clipping through, but you dont want to test every scenario with every model. So you make a default model that is large enough to where all the other models fit inside it, and thats your "test" model to work with, so if it works on the test model, it will work on the assigned models. I know nothing about game development but thats my guess.
Something to remember about Tranzit. That map was made by Jimmy Zelinski. (Forgive me if I misspelled his name.) Jimmy really liked the occult, conspiracy theories, and other weird ideas. Origins and afterwards were handled by Jason Blundell. He seemed to like high concepts and stakes more. Jason was tasked with connecting his ideas to Jimmy's rather vague ideas. So there's quite a few oddities thanks to that process.

heard there was a whole cut secret tunnels area for shi no numa in the world at war files, mind maybeeeee??? finding it and putting it into a future video?
It surprises me the level of detail of the forearm and weapons models in the WAW/BO games. Why Treyarch would make so detailed work if they would cut it anyway with the default fov.
I promise I could've sworn that Chernov death scene was in the original game!
Best cod hidden content channel in the biz.
There's a theory that says Buried takes place during Pangea, and it also takes place at the same time as moon, I learned about this theory in a KrazyRabb1t Zombies Iceberg video
The theory talks about how the zombies story is a paradox, remove everything you know about zombies from Mob of the Dead-> now, just think about Nacht-Buried, in Moon you launch the rockets to earth to destroy it which starts the Victis story, at the end of the Victis story, Maxis needs to launch the rockets in order to access to the gateway to Agartha, meaning in order for him to do so he needs the events of moon to take place at the same time as Buried, after you complete the buried easter egg, after about 60 seconds the screen shakes heavily, in Moon after you complete the easter egg it takes about 60 seconds for the rockets to reach Earth, so the reason everything is a cycle is because everything happens at all once simultaneously, in order for one event to happen another event it required, but the required event is dependent on the first event happening before the required event can happen, both require each other to occur
Jimmy Zelinski was definitely on crack
Hey thanks for explaining this out, I just saw this theory the other day, and paired with the answer I received here it begins to make a lot of sense as to what we are supposed to interpret from the locations. I’m glad my question is raising a bunch of heads to this dilemma
I remember this in a modded lobby back in the day but also remember people making custom bosses with mods on the 360 version
In the no Russian mission under the elevator where you start the mission it looks like the discord logo

Marlton’s voice actor is also part of the die rise radios(i think hes like a pilot talking about no survivors)
And in the first mission in mw2 you can get a pistol by general shepherd on one of the tables
the radio voice is just the same voice actor its not actually the misty character,
the block people they are called blockout models/default models.
@@Ninetails94 do we have evidence of what you said about Misty? How do you know?🤔
Try it, i have a vid on it showing how 👍
Happy New Years!
So 7-9 versions of nacht der untoten but you mentioned only one more, I suppose the last is from revelations ?

2:30 Just use the mod tools, see the scripts that determine the 3rd person takeo models and spawn them in the editor (or assets viewer if exists). Not a big deal.
Hey can you do a video on out of bounds stuff for world war II zombies?
Happy New Year!! (Well... it's 6 hours left until 2025, as of me typing this...)
But I wanted to ask: is it possible to noclip in COD: MW Remastered, in the missions *"Shock and Awe"* and *"Aftermath",* to see the nuke up close?
The wall weapons in BO2 always confused me regarding the time period were in. If we're in the future why don't we have the SMR in place of the M14 or the S12 for the Olympia for example?
You should explore the dlc 5 chronicles and pre alpha origins that got leaked for bo2. Crazy how pre alpha origins looked way different than the one we got.
Have you seen rushin video of early design of bo2 zombies maps?
*in Vanguard and in BO6 they are retconned to be part of the same story
With that out of the way, let’s look at what we see in BO2 Tranzit, Die Rise, Nuketown, and Buried.
Looking forward to the Buried video!
u probably have done this before but what does green run look like without the fog?

Joke aside, thats funny but interesting to learn about the default actors
I dont think hitboxes and textures work like that. My guess would be, when testing and developing the game, you need to fix things like models glitching or clipping through, but you dont want to test every scenario with every model. So you make a default model that is large enough to where all the other models fit inside it, and thats your "test" model to work with, so if it works on the test model, it will work on the assigned models.
I know nothing about game development but thats my guess.
@@Steelkicker well yes, it’s just that the default model is a block-out of the hitboxes

That being the 4 og members of the zombies crew
no
Something to remember about Tranzit. That map was made by Jimmy Zelinski. (Forgive me if I misspelled his name.)
Jimmy really liked the occult, conspiracy theories, and other weird ideas. Origins and afterwards were handled by Jason Blundell. He seemed to like high concepts and stakes more. Jason was tasked with connecting his ideas to Jimmy's rather vague ideas.
So there's quite a few oddities thanks to that process.
Surely it can’t be misty cause I’m pretty sure hearing herself on the tv Misty would at least make a comment towards it
