The best part about perfumes is everyone having such different tastes. Imagine, I never got Casablanca coz I was afraid of it after smelling it once ages ago. Awesome collection! Opulence of Dubai is very difficult to get stateside, so I'm glad to catch this review. I have Venice, Casablanca, and Valencia in the Cities collection. I really enjoy this series.
They are definitely upscale and long lasting! I wish you get the Opulence of Dubai as well! Just to complete the set and you will love it! ♥️

Okay so everybody is raving about Casablanca and you seem to be the only one that spoke of opulence of Dubai…. So I got it for me thinking I’ll get Essence of Casablanca later for my mom. Literally just tore it open and I’m glad I blind bought it. Can definitely say Opulence of Dubai is a great purchase.

We're under an evac notice b/c they say we could flood. I'm in southeast Texas , Beaumont. We flooded bad when Harvey hit so definitely understand. ❤
Oh no. I'm so sorry babe. This is the first time we experienced fear of floods. And I can't imagine how bigger storms feel like. I am genuinely scared of them now. The howling of the wind, that weird screaming wind noise and then the sheer force of the water. Just wow.

Im in love, it smells way more expensive than it is, belongs in the niche group and my gosh is it perfectly blended👌🏾. The bottle also looks expensive, im in love. I reckon it will get even better with maceration but its good to go now. 🥰

OK so to give a lil context and confirmation on the store situation at Swiss Arabian....I've visited 3 of their branches around UAE, especially since Ramadan and then just last week recently and all 3 stores claim they don't really have/get samples to give to customers 😑 I ended up speaking to one of their sales associate for almost 30 minutes over this, coz it is messed up and he explained to me that while the company does send each store a certain number of samples every month, a lot of employees end up giving it away to their families and friends or sometimes 1 customer get 5 samples, while another gets only 1! It's not at all standardized or regulated and that sucks. Oh BTW I got only 2 samples with purchase of 3 bottles of perfumes and both samples were crap (it was from another brand which they are introducing 🤷)
Got tired of their excuses, tried to check online and voilà!!! with every order I received 3 samples and plus a 12ml perfume oil bottle when my order was over 500dhs 😅
I've now only used their website to order all my perfumes from their brand (absolutely love the Heritage collection and recently bought a mini haul from their Harmony collection too)
When I do feel intrigued by their fragrance from watching a YT review I just pop into a store and spray away 😂 on my scarf and I take blotters with the perfumes (I write the name on the blotter when I test multiple scents) coz I feel with Swiss Arabian fragrances the dry down is the king 😅
For instance I hate the opening of Oud Tonka, it just smells like a medicinal almond oil that we Indians use to massage our newborns with 😂 it's not appealing to me at all. But the dry down is another story. Sadly I don't want to spray that on me and wait till the dry down. The one that surprised me pleasantly was Amber 01 ❤❤❤ it is Bea. U. Ti. Ful!!! The opening, the heart and the base, all are very good, a definite summer scent 👌🏽

I was wondering what was happening. I usually buy online and get at least two samples. But this time I visited a physical shop and despite my bill being over AED500, did not receive any samples to try. Mind you, at this point I also informed them that I review perfumes. So I was quite surprised when he said they don't have sample. Felt odd at that point but I am so glad to have received this message form you. I will stick to purchasing online. Shame though, they should have a standardized practice and a POS machine input to monitor. Its not that hard.

It was my PSA for us 🇦🇪 peeps 😉 I've worked at Paris Gallery ages ago and now I've friends who work at Sephora, so I know big brands/companies such as do provide samples and testers very regularly. For my designer fragrances I usually go to Sephora and ask them for testers (they now just give you a tiny decant, I think of 2ml) without even buying anything, I've received minimum 3 samples of perfumes (when the beauty advisors are busy, they ask the cleaners to fill the decant for you and if you ask nicely the cleaners will usually give you more than 3 tiny decanted samples 😉)
Lattafa always sends a small 20ml sample with every single purchase, even if it's less than 50dhs! So yes it is indeed shameful for Swiss Arabian to not look into this mess and fix it. Mind you, Sterling doesn't send samples either (for online purchases) their marketing rep told me I'd have to visit their DIP store to get samples 🙄 even I've ordered 3 bottles from their CDN collection amounting to over 500dhs 😑

As for Amber 01, the best way I can describe it is a dark red rose frozen inside a block of ice that's sprinkled with spices OMG! It's so pretty. You've gotta try it. And from their Harmony Collection, for the first time in my life I tried a men's perfume and loved it for myself, I never gravitate towards male perfumes on me, I prefer feminine scents. But I've been looking for some summer freshies since 🇦🇪 is starting to warm up already 😒 I have this memory of an old discontinued perfect by Philosophy called Philosophy The Fragrance (they called it 'a fragrance for your soul') and it truly was 😢 look it up on Fragrantica (sadly it's got only 1 review) but it's a scent that's haunted me for over a decade. It literally was summer in a bottle. The closest thing I smelled to it was the Swiss Arabian Harmony Collection Bergamot and Patchouli. I immediately bought 2 bottles online (with their current 25% off its totally worth it) the blotter is now 7 days old and I can still get faint whiffs of it ❤ to me it's very gender neutral, you must try it. And while I'm on a roll I suggest you also try Al Haramain Tanasuk (both the oil and extrait) if you enjoy rose 🌹 scents like I do 😊

They are in the same genre for sure. But to me they smell very different. Ebhar is like a biscuit once the apple note fades away and Casablanca smells like cooked apples with mild spiciness. I cant wait to get my full bottle of Essence of Casablanca ❤

@@SiminShaikh Thanks my beautiful sis from another miss, smoochies to Markus and purrs to you and Markus from Sunti & Pushkin who have been watching with great interest (NOT 🤣) a new entrance to our garden being built and also a new retaining wall and other re modelling of our garden. They dislike noise ( a bit like their mother 😂) and change but for us it has been such a joy to have Jack (the son of our best friends, a brother to our soul, who passed away 14 years ago) with us, who has started his own business and is doing wonderful work. We have known Jack since he was born and love him dearly and I love feeding him 😃, it has been a wonderful week and half so far. I watched your video whilst I was waiting at the doctor today ( flu vax ) and I was betting with myself because of the sparkle in your eye that you somehow did buy one and guessed the one !
I think it is hard when it is something you really are crazy about so I am now just trying to stay strong and resist temptation and like you said enjoy the perfumes I have. I have so many I have not touched for a year either and wore a couple the other day.
But then I went back to my ME collection.
I look forward to be able to wear Ameer al Oud Intense in cooler weather and others like this more often.
