I layered Khair and My Way today after I saw a TikToker do Khair and Mayar. I went to the gas station and the cashier was like “What perfume are you wearing?!” So that totally made my week! My son said I guess you do know what you’re talking about!

Maria, thank you so much for your middle eastern perfume videos. I love them so much. Shaghaf Oud Azraq I own for more than a month now. On my skin the dry down is wonderful, very soft with a main note of beeswax and a little bit of honey and spices. I like this a lot.

I just got into middle eastern perfumes and love it, now I introduce it to my bff and she talking about selling them in our salon 😂❤
I love Niche Royal Vert! When I got a chance to try the OG Rouge malachite after seeing lots of mentions plans reviews, I also tried the vert malachite that was next to it and I realised that was more my style. I have since picked up a couple of dupes of vert malachite, first was Riiffs and then the Niche Royal Vert. Even though I already had the Riiffs one, when I smelt the niche Royal vert in a store I just could not leave without it!
The oppulent red was my first middle eastern buy and fail! It was a rouge malachite dupe from lataffa ha but I’m curious to try this one! This one got better reviews

I have 200+ fragrances & almost half are Arabians. I really love when you compare to niche. I live in Georgia where we have mild winters. It doesn't make sense to spend big bucks on fragrance rarely used, & arabians are so rich. They just keep getting better with time. BTW, your eye makeup is bangin' today. Very luxe!❤

I almost ordered Kayali yum pistachio but decided to try a sample first and I’m so glad I did. I definitely pick up on this soapy weirdness that does not mix well with that type of scent in my opinion. I may have to try that Khair Pistachio as I’ve been on the hunt for a good pistachio fragrance 😊
I got Khair Pistachio a couple months ago. I really like it and can't wait for the weather to warm up.
Try layering it with Victoria secret summer Gelato from their Jelly pop line. The lotion smells just like cheirosa 62 from sol de Janeiro. I did that recently and just wow!
I came back to say that I bought Lattafa Liam Grey! Its really lovely 😍 the fig note smells like coconut 🥥 and the vanilla in the base is so good. Comparing it to Gris Charnel Extrait Liam is 100% unisex as Gris Charnel leans more masculine to me Love Liam ❤

Maria, your makeup is so beautiful. You look fabulous and like a model. I have a big middle eastern collection (no where like Val's). I love Dark As Wood, which is a "clone' of Guerlaine's Bois D'Armenie. ....Spectre Ghost which is a great 'clone' of Ani, both by Fragrance World. I like Lataffa's Rave Now Black. it's a pineapple fragrance, which I love. They say it's for men, but I can't see it at all for men, the dry down is so feminine.....it's a real summer fragrance. Thanks for the follow up review. Loved it!

I have a decant of Vert Malachite and fell in love with it. So last year I was on a mission to find an inexpensive alternative. I blind bought Niche Royal Vert but to my nose it over-emphasized the jasmine while the ylang-ylang was underrepresented compared to the original. I gave my bottle to a friend, and bought Emper Luxe Verde, which I love and it mirrors the proportion of jasmine and ylang-ylang in the OG. It's super inexpensive too.

Khair Pistachio---100% love it ! Emir- Oud Crescent- 100% love it. ..and..LOL...I also love Oud Azraq..!!!. Oud Tonka....Liam Gray and C.A.C.A.O are all on my "want list".
Do you like lemon...???...I dare you to try Chopard Happy Lemon Dulci.....so inexpensive..and a lemon bomb....yet creamy chiffon like...and aromatic/slight green also.

Can anyone tell me if the cinnamon in Shaghaf Oud Tonka is a prominent note? I'd love to try it but suspect that cinnamon in fragrance triggers my asthma. I finally got Khamrah and love it but, unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll be able to wear it.

Hi Maria, have you heard anything about Afnan Mystique Bouquet? Some says it smells a lot like Valaya from Parfums de Marley. I ordered it blindly since I do have Valaya so I’ll test side by side when I get it.

I got Mystique Bouquet yesterday. It’s lovely. While I haven’t tried Valaya, I do have a few dupes of Fleur Narcotique and it is in that family of scents, but I find it a fresher, less musky, and a little powdery. Truely beautiful!

How did you like them? I wanted chants but I ended up getting liam. Liam pleasant it reminds me very much of penthaligons halfeti. But sits closer to skin for me. Hope it improves

If you like By the Fireplace you really have to try Emir camp fire by Paris Corner I own both and can not tell the difference. I have sprayed one on one arm one on the other, it is unbelievable!!

Yes thank you bc by the fireplace has been my new fav since Xmas and I’m wearing it daily, can’t get enough and I keep using it to layer with any perfume that has vetiver or vanilla so I’m going through it quickly and was hoping for a great dupe…so thanks again.

How clearly can you smell the cardamom in CACAO and does it stay all throughout? It’s currently in my cart now, for less than usd 20 but im not a cardamom fan
I personally smell the cacao more than anything. The Cadamom is just a supporting player. Of course everyone is different in what they pick up but cardamom is quite a prominent note and I didn’t notice it as standing out at all….
Knowing that they’re diff but close?? These are on my list:
Liam, as my late but recent Crystal Noir buy,was NOT as spicy and dark as everyone was telling me! This one sound good! Bade oud sublime also on the list only because I’m mad at Mona atm I thought a gal from Dubai would get things to last? But Mona is amazing at the blends!! 😢 shagaf tonka as I have no tonka scent. (As far as the Serge Luten dupes? He’s my fav perfumer after Ropion!I love him too much to buy dupes. No one can get close to him.)
the cacao one is also on the list as I have no chocolate scent, and choco musk? That everyone recommends, I can’t smell it 😢

I think these middle eastern scents are great for when you see a perfume 200$ and up…. If things are 100 to 150$ I still prefer the original!

Khair pistachio is identical to yum. I tried both at the same time and I couldn't distinguish any significant difference. One of the closest dupes I've tried.

Would you say that Niche Royal Vert is similar to Dolce and Gabanna The Only One Intense? (Black bottle)?
Niche Royal Rouge is the one that is like rouge malachite. Rouge malachite is similar to the only one intense in the black bottle. I would have to smell much royale rouge again to be able to answer that.
Niche royal vert is much more yellow floral with vanilla. It’s very nice but not like the only one intense 😀

Does Liam lean manly though? I have never had oe smelled Gris Charnel but if its clean smelling incould possibly like it but not if it's masculine at all ....would u say it is masculine?
I don’t think Gris charnel or Liam is masculine but it isn’t feminine either. It’s unisex. Unisex to me means that it’s not feminine or masculine. It smells slightly cold, tea and sandalwood. I believe that you can get samples of LIAM on perfume online so maybe that would be a good way to go! 😀
I haven't tried Liam, but Fig and Tea are bitter notes in Gris Charnel to my nose. Not male leaning but bitter indeed. Hope it helps.
I ordered a travel-sized Gris Charnel and to me, it smells very sophisticated. I have 4 other full bottles of BDK fragrances that I like better, but I would not be opposed to Liam at a better price point. (I bought Velvet Tonka...and then turned around and bought Shaghaf Oud Tonka because I didn't know it was a dupe. The notes in Velvet Tonka are already mature. The Shaghaf Oud Tonka smells "new and fresher" so I cleared the straw and am letting it age. It probably will smell more like Velvet Tonka in a few months...but then, when I made my own almond extract, it took a LONG time to take on flavor. I expect this will be the same.

I just received it. It is almond heavy with a cherry accord. Reminds me of Jergens Cherry Almond lotion

Completely unrelated to the video. I noticed you love bond 9 New York nights I wanted to let you know that I have a dupe that you should check out and let us know if it’s any good how close it is. It’s by Emper and it’s called Metropolis Night Party. I bought it from vivifragrances for like $25. I’ve never tried the bond one so i would love to hear your thoughts on the difference and similarities. Even the bottle is super similar. I think mine smells like spicy banana bread so it just might be an exact dupe . ❤

I think the people that call them exact are newer to the fragrance community, maybe? The more trained nose in my experience is more about its got a twist or its inspired by or its about 90% close

It doesn't have either. It has black tea and fig...it does have cardamom though.

I bought a Liam from Walmart. It smells like Gris but doesn’t last at all
How's it now? You need to spray few sprays in the air. Let it rest in the dark for a couple of weeks and then come back to it. I know it's a like a whole process! 😅
@@manuka7313I did what you said and it worked just great! Then, because of some reviews, I bought another Lattafa Yara Tous because people said it smells like mango, and I am very disappointed. The product is good, nice smell, lasts long, but there is no mango smell in there.
Swiss Arabian Shagaf Azraq on my skin was amazing! Do not like bright peach, reminds me of peach schnapps that came out when I was 18.🤮everyone’s different.
